Abstract
【解決手段】文書に含まれるオブジェクトを識別し(214)、そのオブジェクトがグラフィック(322)、ピクトリアル(326)、常寸テキスト/ライン(314)及び大寸テキスト/ラインの何れであるか、そのオブジェクトの色は均一か不均一か(330)等、そのオブジェクトの性質を識別する。これらの識別結果に応じ且つそれぞれのオブジェクトに対し、エンジン個別色域(354)、色域重複部分(350)又は色域重複部分とエンジン個別色域とのブレンド色域(356)のうち何れかを、処理用色域として割り当てる(346)。その割当色域内にそのオブジェクトの色をマッピングし、印刷、表示等のレンダリングに備える。

Claims (6)
- 同一文書に含まれるオブジェクトを識別するステップと、
識別したオブジェクトの性質を識別するステップと、
識別したオブジェクトそれぞれに対し且つ少なくともそのオブジェクトについての性質識別結果に基づき処理用色域を割り当てるステップと、
を有するマルチエンジンシステム内多頁文書調製方法。 - 同一文書に含まれるオブジェクトがその性質上グラフィック、ピクトリアル、常寸テキスト/ライン及び大寸テキスト/ラインの何れに該当するかを識別するステップと、
使用可能なエンジンのうちある一つのエンジンの個別色域、使用可能なエンジン同士の色域重複部分、並びに少なくともそのオブジェクトについての性質識別結果に基づき当該個別色域と当該色域重複部分との組合せによりブレンドされたブレンド色域、のうち何れかから、識別したオブジェクトそれぞれに対し且つ少なくともそのオブジェクトについての性質識別結果に基づき処理用色域を割り当てるステップと、
を有するマルチエンジンシステム内多頁文書調製方法。 - 請求項2記載のマルチエンジンシステム内多頁文書調製方法であって、同一文書に含まれるオブジェクトのうち大寸テキスト/ライン、ピクトリアル又はグラフィックに該当すると識別されたオブジェクトについては、まずオブジェクト間類似性を判別し似たもの同士を関連付けることによって類似オブジェクトグループを何個か作成し、作成した類似オブジェクトグループのうち所定判別条件を満たすグループ特性を有するものの所属オブジェクトに対しては上記色域重複部分を、また満たさないグループ特性を有するものの所属オブジェクトに対しては少なくとも一つのエンジンの個別色域を、それぞれ処理用色域として割り当てるマルチエンジンシステム内多頁文書調製方法。
- 請求項3記載のマルチエンジンシステム内多頁文書調製方法であって、上記所定判別条件が、そのグループの所属オブジェクト及びサブオブジェクトの個数、文書若しくは文書部分内頁密度及びサイズ、並びにそれらのうち少なくとも1個を変数とする関数の出力のうち、少なくとも1個についての条件として定められたマルチエンジンシステム内多頁文書調製方法。
- 文書に含まれる画像オブジェクトを識別するオブジェクト識別器と、
識別したオブジェクトの性質を識別する性質識別器と、
識別したオブジェクトそれぞれに対し且つ少なくともそのオブジェクトについての性質識別結果に基づき処理用色域を割り当てる色域割当器と、
を備える文書処理システム。 - 請求項5記載の文書処理システムであって、色域割当器が、識別したオブジェクト毎に且つ少なくともそのオブジェクトについての性質識別結果に基づき使用可能なエンジン同士の色域重複部分とある一つのエンジンの個別色域とを組み合わせてブレンドしたブレンド色域を、そのオブジェクトに対し処理用色域として割り当てる文書処理システム。
