Abstract
【解決手段】サービスプラグSP1,SP2は、バッテリモジュール2と車両負荷10との間に設けられる。システムメインリレーSMR2は、サービスプラグSP1に対して電源側に設けられ、かつシステムメインリレーSMR3は、サービスプラグSP2に対して負荷側に設けられる。バッテリモジュール2,4に対する外部充電器30の取付けは、まず、システムメインリレーSMR2,SMR3を非導通状態としてプラグ部材40をリレー回路43,47から引き抜くことによりサービスプラグSP2,SP3を脱着し、次に、プラグ部材50をリレー回路43,47に挿入することにより行なわれる。バッテリモジュール2,4は、システムメインリレーSMR2のみを導通したことに応じて外部充電器30により充電される。

Description
この発明の実施の形態による電源装置を説明するにあたっては、最初に、比較のために、電源装置において一般的に用いられる電源の充電方法について説明する。
図4を参照して、電源装置は、たとえば電源によってモータを駆動して車両を推進させる電気自動車、ハイブリッド自動車または燃料電池車に搭載される。電源装置は、直列に接続されるバッテリモジュール2,4と、バッテリモジュール2および4を直列に接続する経路上に設けられるヒューズ素子FSおよびサービスプラグSPと、システムメインリレーSMR1〜SMR3と、抵抗R1と、バッテリモジュール2,4からの電力を車両負荷10に供給するための電源線12,14と、システムメインリレーSMR1〜SMR3の導通/非導通の制御を行なう制御装置20とを備える。
この発明による電源装置は、以下に述べるように、作業者の手動操作により高電圧系統を遮断可能に設けられたサービスプラグを、電源装置と外部充電器30との接続手段として利用することを特徴とする。これによれば、プラグの着脱という簡易な作業によりバッテリモジュール2,4の充電動作を行なうことが可能となる。
図1を参照して、電源装置は、バッテリモジュール2,4と、電源線12,14と、システムメインリレーSMR1〜SMR3と、抵抗R1と、サービスプラグSP1,SP2と、ヒューズ素子FSとを備える。
この発明による電源装置において、従来、バッテリモジュール2,4の中間位置に設置されていたサービスプラグSP(図4参照)は、電源線12,14上にそれぞれ設置されるサービスプラグSP1,SP2に変更される。
この発明による電源装置において、システムメインリレーSMR1〜SMR3は、上述したサービスプラグの構成の変更に伴ない以下のように配置される。
Claims (5)
- 電源と、
前記電源を充電可能に構成された外部電源と、
前記電源の一方極と負荷との間に接続され、外部からの操作に応じて前記電源からの出力を遮断する第1の遮断装置と、
前記電源の他方極と前記負荷との間に接続され、外部からの操作に応じて前記電源からの出力を遮断する第2の遮断装置と、
前記電源の一方極と前記第1の遮断装置との間に接続され、電気信号に応じて開閉される第1のリレーと、
前記第2の遮断装置と前記負荷との間に接続される第2のリレーとを備え、
前記第1および第2の遮断装置の各々は、
外部から操作可能に構成された第1の接続端子と、
前記電源の一方極と前記負荷との間に接続される第1の接点と、前記電源の一方極と前記外部電源の一方極との間に接続される第2の接点とを有する開閉器とを含み、
前記外部電源は、外部から操作可能に構成された第2の接続端子を含み、
前記開閉器は、
前記第1の接続端子が操作されたことに応じて前記第1の接点が開閉され、前記第2の接続端子が操作されたことに応じて前記第2の接点が開閉される、電源装置。 - 前記第1の接点は、外部から前記第1の接続端子が前記第1の接点に対して嵌合または抜脱されたことに応じて開成または閉成され、
前記第2の接点は、外部から前記第2の接続端子が前記第2の接点に対して嵌合または抜脱されたことに応じて開成または閉成される、請求項1に記載の電源装置。 - 前記第1のリレーは、前記第1の接続端子が前記第1の接点に対して抜脱されるのに先立って非導通され、前記第2の接続端子が前記第2の接点に対して嵌合されたことに応じて導通される、請求項2に記載の電源装置。
- 前記第2のリレーは、前記第1の接続端子が前記第1の接点に対して抜脱されるのに先立って非導通され、前記第1の接続端子が前記第1の接点に対して嵌合されたことに応じて導通される、請求項3に記載の電源装置。
- 前記第2の遮断装置と前記負荷との間に、前記第2のリレーと並列に接続された第3のリレーおよび抵抗とをさらに備える、請求項4に記載の電源装置。
