【解決手段】ディスク面の記録層が少なくとも主情報記録領域D1Aと補助情報記録領域(BCA)D1Cに区分されて、主情報記録領域D1Aにグルーブが形成され、補助情報記録領域(BCA)D1Cに識別情報を示すバーコード状のマークMが形成されており、この補助情報記録領域(BCA)D1Cの記録層に、主情報記録領域D1Aに形成されたグルーブの深さよりも深さが浅いトラッキング用グルーブG1またはプリピットが形成されている。

が条件となることが求められる。

Claims (6)
- ディスク面の記録層が少なくとも主情報記録領域と補助情報記録領域に区分されて、主情報記録領域にグルーブが形成され、補助情報記録領域に記録情報を示すマークが形成されている光ディスクにおいて、
前記補助情報記録領域の記録層に、主情報記録領域に形成されたグルーブの深さよりも深さが浅いグルーブまたはプリピットが形成されていることを特徴とする光ディスク。 - 前記マークが、光ディスクの識別情報を示すバーコード状のマークである請求項1に記載の光ディスク。
- 前記補助情報記録領域の記録層に形成されたグルーブまたはプリピットの深さが、光ディスクの記録再生用のレーザ光の波長が660nmのときに、65nm未満に設定されている請求項1に記載の光ディスク。
- 前記補助情報記録領域の記録層に形成されたグルーブまたはプリピットの深さが、光ディスクの記録再生用のレーザ光の波長が405nmのときに、40nm未満に設定されている請求項1に記載の光ディスク。
- ディスク面の記録層が少なくとも主情報記録領域と補助情報記録領域に区分されて、主情報記録領域にグルーブが形成され、補助情報記録領域に記録情報を示すマークが形成されている光ディスクにおいて、
前記補助情報記録領域の記録層に、グルーブまたはプリピットが形成されていないことを特徴とする光ディスク。 - 前記マークが、光ディスクの識別情報を示すバーコード状のマークである請求項5に記載の光ディスク。
