Abstract
【解決手段】 バイオチップ60の基板61上にサイト領域62が形成されている。サイト領域62には多数のサイトがマトリクス状に配置されている。サイト領域62の周囲には4つのマーカ63が設けられている。サイト領域62のサイトはDNA溶液等のスポット液を滴下することで形成されている。また、マーカ63もサイトの形成に用いる装置を用いて、不透明な液を滴下することで形成されている。サイトおよびマーカ63は同一装置によるスポットで連続して形成されているため、互いの位置関係が精度良く規定されている。基板61は例えばガラスを用いて形成される。基板61は透明であってもよく、あるいは表面に金属層を設けるなどして不透明、あるいは反射性であってもよい。マーカ63は基板61との関係で、反射光あるいは透過光によって、その位置が認識可能なように形成される。

Description
上記実施形態では、蛍光分子の蛍光退色を避ける目的で照明光の波長を制限しているが、蛍光退色が問題とならないのであれば、照明光の波長は任意に選択できる。
また、対象となる生体高分子は、DNAに限るものではなく、RNA、たんぱく、糖鎖、生体代謝物でも良い。

Claims (5)
- サイトで発生する蛍光の光量分布に基づいて分析を行うバイオチップにおいて、
前記サイトとの位置関係が予め規定されたマーカが形成されていることを特徴とするバイオチップ。 - 前記サイトおよび前記マーカが、同一装置による同等の工程により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバイオチップ。
- 前記マーカは、染料、顔料、生体高分子に結合された金属コロイド、生体高分子に結合された染料および生体高分子に結合された顔料の少なくともいずれか一方であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のバイオチップ。
- バイオチップ上のサイトで発生する蛍光の光量分布に基づいて分析を行うバイオチップ読み取り装置において、
バイオチップに形成された、前記サイトとの位置関係が予め規定されたマーカの位置を検出するマーカ位置検出手段と、
検出されたマーカの位置に基づいてバイオチップ上のサイトの位置を認識する認識手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするバイオチップ読み取り装置。 - バイオチップ上のサイトで発生する蛍光の光量分布に基づいて分析を行うバイオチップ読み取り方法において、
バイオチップに形成された、前記サイトとの位置関係が予め規定されたマーカの位置を検出するステップと、
検出されたマーカの位置に基づいてバイオチップ上のサイトの位置を認識するステップと、
を備えることを特徴とするバイオチップ読み取り方法。
