Abstract

110 完成物品の寸法と実質的に同じ外形及び厚さを含む複数の所定の寸法を有する炭素繊維プリフォーム物品を製作するステップ
120 基体の表面上に熱分解炭素の層を堆積させるステップ
130 化学蒸気浸透(CVI)プロセスによって熱分解炭素の層上に炭化ケイ素(SiC)マトリックスの第1の部分を堆積させるステップ
140 SiCマトリックスの堆積を中断し、CVIプロセスを用いてSiCマトリックス内にケイ素(Si)ドープ窒化ホウ素(BN)層を堆積させるステップ
150 一旦BN層が完全に堆積されると、CVI SiCマトリックス堆積を継続するステップ
Claims (10)
- セラミック複合材における酸化を減少させる方法であって、
第1の化学蒸気浸透(CVI)プロセスを用いて物品の少なくとも一部分上に炭化ケイ素(SiC)マトリックスの第1の部分を堆積させるステップ(130)と、
第2のCVIプロセスを用いて前記SiCマトリックスの少なくとも一部分内にケイ素(Si)ドープ窒化ホウ素(BN)層を堆積させるステップ(140)と、
第3のCVIプロセスを用いて前記SiCマトリックスの第1の部分の少なくとも一部内に又は該第1の部分に連続してSiCマトリックスの第2の部分を堆積させるステップ(150)と、
を含む方法。 - 前記第1のCVIプロセスを用いて物品の少なくとも一部分上にSiCマトリックスの第1の部分を堆積させるステップ(130)が、
前記物品の表面付近で均質とするか或いは該物品の円周方向に及び/又は外形に応じて変化させることができる所定の炭素(C)対ケイ素(Si)比率でSiCマトリックスを堆積させるステップと、
等温状態を維持しながら或いは前記物品内の所定の温度勾配を維持して該物品の温度を変化させながらSiCマトリックスを堆積させるステップと、
前記物品を固定した状態で或いは該物品を所定の軸線の周りでかつ所定の速度で回転させながらSiCマトリックスを堆積させるステップと、を含む、
請求項1記載のセラミック複合材における酸化を減少させる方法。 - 前記所定のC対Si比率でSiCマトリックスを堆積させるステップが、複数の第1のCVIプロセス条件を制御するステップを含み、前記複数の第1のCVIプロセス条件を制御するステップが、複数の気体反応物質の温度、圧力、前記複数の反応物質の流量、前記複数の反応物質の複数の濃度、及び複数の反応によって放出された複数の副生気体の複数の濃度の除去率を制御するステップをさらに含む、請求項2記載のセラミック複合材における酸化を減少させる方法。
- セラミック複合材物品を製作する方法であって、
複数の所定の寸法を有する炭素繊維プリフォーム物品を製作するステップ(110)と、
前記炭素繊維プリフォーム物品の少なくとも一部分上に熱分解炭素の層を堆積させるステップ(120)と、
第1の化学蒸気浸透(CVI)プロセスを用いて前記強化層の少なくとも一部分上に炭化ケイ素(SiC)マトリックスの第1の部分を堆積させるステップ(130)と、
第2のCVIプロセスを用いて前記SiCマトリックスの少なくとも一部分内にケイ素(Si)ドープ窒化ホウ素(BN)層を堆積させるステップ(140)と、
第3のCVIプロセスを用いて前記SiCマトリックスの第1の部分の少なくとも一部分内に又は該第1の部分に連続してSiCマトリックスの第2の部分を堆積させるステップ(150)と、
を含む方法。 - セラミック複合材保護層を含む物品であって、前記層が、
表面領域を含む基体と、
酸化剤を含浸させたマトリックス材料で浸透された前記基体の少なくとも一部分上で延びる繊維束の領域と、を含む、
物品。 - 前記基体が、所定の寸法を有する炭素繊維プリフォームをさらに含む、請求項5記載のセラミック複合材保護層を含む物品。
- 前記所定の寸法を有する炭素繊維プリフォームが、
完成物品の寸法と実質的に同じである所定の外形及び厚さのセットに予め成形された物品と、
複数の所定の材料密度を有することができる複数の層と、を含み、
前記複数の所定の材料密度が、実質的に均質とするか或いは前記物品の円周方向に及び/又は外形に応じて変化させることができる、
請求項6記載のセラミック複合材保護層を含む物品。 - 前記酸化剤を含浸させたマトリックス材料で浸透された前記基体の少なくとも一部分上で延びる繊維束の領域が、前記プリフォームの少なくとも一部分上に堆積された強化炭素繊維束の層を含む、請求項5記載のセラミック複合材保護層を含む物品。
- 前記酸化剤を含浸させたマトリックス材料で浸透された前記基体の少なくとも一部分上で延びる繊維束の領域が、窒化ホウ素(BN)酸化剤を含浸させた炭化ケイ素(SiC)マトリックスを含む、請求項5記載のセラミック複合材保護層を含む物品。
- 前記BN酸化剤を含浸させたSiCマトリックスが、前記物品の表面付近で均質とするか或いは該物品の円周方向に及び/又は外形に応じて変化させることができる所定の炭素(C)対ケイ素(Si)比率で堆積させることができる、請求項9記載のセラミック複合材保護層を含む物品。
