Abstract
Description
本発明は、高次収差または球面収差の製造後矯正を可能にする、眼用レンズに関する。より具体的には、本発明は、IOL、角膜インレーおよびオンレー(onlay)、コンタクトレンズなどにおいて使用され得、ここで、レンズの構成要素が、外部エネルギー源(例えば、レーザー)に応答して、このレンズの内部の適合性構造体が寸法を変化させることを可能にし、これによって、天体望遠鏡の適合性光学部品(AO)の分野において使用される方法と類似の様式で、このレンズの形状を調節するかまたは曲げる。
レンズの光学特性の製造後調節は、種々の眼用レンズの型において必要とされる。1つの場合において、白内障患者は、IOL移植物の移植後の倍率の調節可能性から利益を得る。別の場合において、後眼房無水晶体IOL移植物は移植後の倍率の調節可能性から利益を得ることが可能である。なぜなら、バイオメトリーは、適切な倍率の選択を保証し得ないからである。角膜インレーまたは類似の型のレンズはまた、薄い平面レンズの移植、および引き続くこのレンズの膨張によって、所望の屈折効果を提供することから利益を得る。また、コンタクトレンズは、在庫に維持される必要があるレンズの数を制限するための、製造後の曲率の調節から利益を得る。
特に興味深いことに、本発明に対応するレンズは、微小規模のアクチュエータ手段が提供されるという意味で、適合性光学部品(AO)のクラスに入る。このアクチュエータ手段は、高次収差または包括的には球面収差のために、選択された寸法の範囲内で、レンズ表面の曲率を局所的に曲げ、そして変化させる。AOの視野の通常の範囲は、可撓性表面のミラーを備え、ここで、圧電素子または他のデバイスが、マイクロ秒以内の間隔で、光学表面を曲げ、例えば、図1Aに示されるように、天体望遠鏡において、収差を減少させ得る。
(I.適合性レンズにおいて使用するためのポリマーにおける形状記憶の原理)
本発明のいくつかの代替の実施形態は、形状記憶ポリマー(SMP)を使用して、本発明に対応する透明な、インデックスが一致したアクチュエータシステムを可能にする。この理由により、形状記憶ポリマーの背景が提供される。形状記憶ポリマーは、分離された線状ブロックコポリマー(代表的に、ハードセグメントおよびソフトセグメントのもの)を製造することに基づいて、形状記憶の現象を示す。
(1.「A」型軟質適合性光学システム)
本発明の適合性光学系は、製作後の倍率調節または移植後調節を可能にするために、任意の型のレンズ(例えば、IOL(眼内レンズ)、コンタクトレンズまたは角膜インレーにおいて使用されうる。説明目的で、本発明の原理は、まず、白内障処置のための眼内レンズ100で、図2に示されるが、前眼房または後眼房のための任意の有水晶体IOLについてであり得る。

図12に示される別の適合性レンズの実施形態200において、このレンズは再度、光学部分210および非光学部分211を有する。このレンズは、図6A〜6Cに示されるような、内部形態または相215を有し、これは、前本体部分または表面層224aおよび後本体部分224bによって囲まれている。この実施形態において、配置構造体220(包括的)は、前表面相224aを変形させるために、先に記載されたように作動する。この実施形態は、形状記憶ポリマーが、配置構造体220内の流体225の体積を変化させるための同じ役割である点で、異なる。図12の例示的な実施形態において、このレンズは、チャネル222(包括的)内に、犠牲要素250a〜250nを含み、これらは、各個々の配置構造体220a〜220nの個々に連絡する、空間を備える。
Claims (21)
- ヒトの視力の処置における、球面収差または高次収差の矯正のためのレンズであって、
レンズ本体であって、該レンズ本体は、光軸、第一の表面層および第二の表面層、ならびに内部相を規定し、該内部相は、少なくとも1つの表面層に隣接して広がっている、レンズ本体;ならびに
複数の配置構造体であって、該配置構造体は、該レンズ本体の該内部相における横領域にわたって固定されたパターンで位置決めされている、複数の配置構造体、
を備え、
該配置構造体は、該配置構造体の位置において、該レンズ本体の光学特性を変化させるように、個々に作動可能であり、そして該配置構造体は、高次収差を矯正することを可能にする、選択された縮尺を有する、レンズ。 - 前記少なくとも1つのレンズ表面が、前記配置構造体の作動に応答した形状の変化を可能にするように弾性である、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記第一のレンズ表面および第二のレンズ表面が、前記内部相を囲んでいる、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記第一の表面層と第二の表面層との両方が、弾性である、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記第一の表面層および第二の表面層、ならびに前記内部相が、同じ屈折率を有する、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記配置構造体が、前記内部相の面にわたって配置されている、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記配置構造体が、二次元格子内に配置されている、請求項6に記載のレンズ。
- 前記配置構造体が、前記内部相の対応する表面の間に位置決めされている、請求項7に記載のレンズ。
- 前記配置構造体が、適用されるエネルギーに応答して、選択された機能パラメータを変化させる媒体を含有し、該パラメータが、体積、形状、多孔性、密度、および内圧からなるクラスから選択される、請求項1に記載のレンズ。
- 前記媒体が、適用される光に応答して、前記パラメータを変化させる、請求項9に記載のレンズ。

- 前記媒体が、発色団を保有し、該発色団は、所定の波長の光を選択的に吸収する、請求項10に記載のレンズ。
- 視力矯正レンズの光学特性を調整するための方法であって、該方法は、
該レンズの本体における配置要素のサブパターンに、エネルギーを選択的に適用する工程、
