Abstract
Description
典型的なパルス酸素濃度計は、2つの生理学的パラメータ、すなわち、動脈血ヘモグロビン(SpO2または飽和度)のパーセント酸素飽和度と、脈拍数とを測定する。酸素飽和度は、様々な手法を用いて推定できる。一般的な一手法では、光検出器によって生成された光電流が調節および処理されて、赤色信号から赤外線信号への変調率の割合(割合率)を決定する。この変調率は、動脈酸素飽和度とよく相関することが観察されている。パルス酸素濃度計およびセンサは、患者、健康なボランティア、または動物の組に対して、生体内で測定された動脈酸素飽和度(SaO2)の範囲に渡って変調率を測定することによって、経験的に較正される。観察された相関を逆のやり方で用いて、患者の変調率の測定値に基づいて血液酸素飽和度(SpO2)を推定する。酸素飽和度を変調率を用いて推定することは、米国特許第5,853,364号であって、1998年12月29日発行の発明の名称「モデルに基づく適応フィルタリングを用いた生理学的パラメータを推定するための方法および装置」と、米国特許第4,911,167号であって、1990年3月27日発行の発明の名称「光パルスを検出するための方法および装置」とに説明されている。酸素飽和度と変調率との関係は、米国特許第5,645,059号であって、1997年7月8日発行の発明の名称「変調された符号化方式の医療用センサ」にさらに説明されている。パルス酸素濃度計の多くは、最初に決定された飽和度または脈拍数を有するプレスチモグラフィックな信号を抽出し、飽和度および脈拍数の両方は、障害の影響を受けやすい。
本発明は、生理学的パラメータを測定するためのシステムにおけるノイズ効果を軽減するための方法および装置であって、入力信号を受信することと、入力信号の信号品質の査定を取得することと、信号品質の査定を用いて、デジタルフィルタのための係数を選択することと、フィルタの出力信号を入力信号と比較することなく、デジタルフィルタを用いて入力信号をフィルタリングすることとを含む方法および装置に関する。
本発明の実施形態に係る方法および装置は、デジタルフィルタのパラメータを選択および調節をフィルタに対する入力信号の品質の査定に基づいて行うことに向けられている。本発明は、パルス酸素濃度計測モニタおよびパルス酸素計測センサにおけるような、動脈血および患者の脈拍数におけるヘモグロビンの酸素飽和度の測定値に特に適用可能であり、当該測定値を参照して説明されることとなる。しかしながら、本発明は、EGG、血圧、体温などの任意の一般的な患者用モニタおよび関連する患者用センサに等しく適用可能であり、酸素測定またはパルス酸素測定と共にのみ使用されるように制限されるものではないことが理解されるべきである。

Claims (30)
- 生理学的パラメータを測定するためのシステムにおけるノイズ効果を軽減する方法であって、
入力信号を受信することと、
前記入力信号の信号品質の査定を取得することと、
信号品質の前記査定を用いて、デジタルフィルタのための係数を選択することと、
前記デジタルフィルタを用いて、前記フィルタの出力信号を前記入力信号と比較することなく、前記入力信号をフィルタリングすることとを含む、方法。 - 前記選択は、複数の不連続な予め設定された値から係数を選択することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記選択は、複数の一定の予め設定された値から係数を選択することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルタリングは、線形入出力関係を有するデジタルフィルタを操作することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルタリングは、非線形入出力関係を有するデジタルフィルタを操作することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記信号品質の査定の前記取得は、入力信号の時間微分のスキューという測定単位を取得することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記受信は、1つより多くの波長を形成する入力信号を受信することを含み、前記信号品質の査定の前記取得は、互いに異なる波長からの信号間の相関という測定単位を取得することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
