である。ここで、VRは右前、VLは左前、HLは左後、並びにHRは右後を意味する。
VR=ID_1、VL=ID_2、HL=ID_3、HR=ID_4
このことから、関数F_dmR_1_iに対して、値の対応関係は、以下の通りとなる。
F_dmR_1_i=1、ID_1の車輪が、大きく圧力を低下させた場合
F_dmR_1_i=2、ID_2の車輪が、大きく圧力を低下させた場合
F_dmR_1_i=3、ID_3の車輪が、大きく圧力を低下させた場合
F_dmR_1_i=4、ID_4の車輪が、大きく圧力を低下させた場合
第二の関数F_dmR_2_iは、例えばVR=ID_2、VL=ID_3、HL=ID_4、HR=ID_1の可能な対応関係に該当する。

Claims (7)
- 自動車における車輪の取付位置を自動的に判定するための方法であって、その際自動車は、車輪毎にタイヤ圧測定装置と、個々の車輪のタイヤ空気圧値と識別番号を含むTPMS情報を車両内又は車両上に配備した受信・評価装置に伝送するための送信装置とを有する直接測定型タイヤ圧監視システム、並びに空気圧の変化と取付位置を含むDDS情報を個々の車輪の回転挙動から検出する間接測定型タイヤ圧監視システムを有する方法において、
これらのTPMS情報とDDS情報から、相関関数を用いて、相関係数を算出することを特徴とする方法。 - 当該の相関係数を、相関関数を利用して、第一の割当関数と第二の割当関数とから算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 識別番号と取付位置間の可能なすべての対応関係を規定し、その際これらの可能な対応関係に、それぞれ個別的な特性値を割り当てる第一の割当関数を、当該のTPMS情報から生成することと、可能なすべての車輪取付位置に、それぞれ別の個別的な特性値を割り当てる第二の割当関数を、当該のDDS情報から生成することとを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 当該の相関関数が、一定の時間に渡っての平均値演算を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から3までのいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 当該の相関関数が、主に第一の割当関数と第二の割当関数との乗算から得られる被除数と、主に第一の割当関数の二乗と第二の割当関数の二乗との乗算から得られる除数との商から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1から4までのいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 当該の相関係数は、選択した識別番号と取付位置間の対応関係が、実際の対応関係と一致するか否かの確率を示す数値であり、その際一定の時間に渡っての平均値演算によって、この数値の値の範囲、特に−1〜+1の間の範囲への正規化を行っていることを特徴とする請求項1から5までのいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- すべての計算した相関係数を互いに比較し、その際絶対値に関して最も大きい数値を持つ相関係数が、車輪とその取付位置間の正しい対応関係を表すことと、この検出した対応関係にもとづき、当該の識別番号を取付位置に割り当てることとを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
