Claims (12)
- AlRu及びAlVの一方からなるシード層と、
CoCr合金からなる磁気記録層と、
該AlRu及びAlVの他方からなり、該シード層と該磁気記録層の間に設けられた下地層とを備えた、磁気記録媒体。 - 該シード層と該下地層の合計膜厚は約20nmから70nmの範囲である、請求項1記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該シード層の膜厚は約5nmから50nmの範囲であり、該下地層の膜厚は約2nmから50nmの範囲である、請求項1記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該シード層は、Ar+N2の混合ガスでN2を、又は、Ar+O2の混合ガスでO2を、N2又はO2の分圧PN,OがPN,O=1%から20%で反応性スパッタリングすることにより形成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。
- ガラス又はAlからなる基板を更に備え、
該シード層は該基板上に設けられている、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。 - 該基板は機械的テキスチャリングを施されている、請求項5記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該磁気記録層は、単一の磁性層又はシンセティックフェリ磁性構造からなり、該シンセティックフェリ磁性構造は反強磁性結合された少なくとも2つのCoCr合金からなる磁性層からなり、該CoCr合金からなる磁性層のc軸は比h≦0.15が成立するようにその表面に対して概ね平行であり、h=Hc⊥/Hc、Hc⊥は垂直保磁力、Hcは該表面に沿った保磁力を表す、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該下地層と該磁気記録層の間に設けられ、該下地層上に直接約1nmから15nmの膜厚で形成されたCr−M格子整合層を更に備え、
Mは原子比が5%以上のMo,Ti,V,Wからなるグループから選択された材料からなる、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。 - 該Cr−M格子整合層と該磁気記録層の間に設けられ、約1nmから5nmの膜厚で形成された微磁性又は非磁性のhcp構造を有するCoCr合金からなる中間層を更に備えた、請求項8記載の磁気記録媒体。
- 該下地層と該磁気記録層の間に設けられ、該磁気記録層と直接接触すると共に約1nmから3nmの膜厚で形成された実質的にRuからなる格子整合層を更に備えた、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の磁気記録媒体。
- AlRu及びAlVの一方からなるシード層と、CoCr合金からなる磁気記録層と、該AlRu及びAlVの他方からなり該シード層と該磁気記録層の間に設けられた下地層とを備えた少なくとも1つの磁気記録媒体と、
該磁気記録媒体に信号を記録し及び/又は該磁気記録媒体から信号を再生するヘッドとを備えた、磁気記憶装置。 - 該磁気記録媒体は磁気ディスクである、請求項11記載の磁気記憶装置。
