Abstract
Description
(i)間接転写、例えば水による移し絵方式の転写、および間接加熱転写、および
(ii)直接転写、例えば直接加熱転写。
(i)ガラスパネル表面への塗布(本明細書では「下部印刷パターン」と呼ぶ)、または
(ii)他の単一または複数の層の露出された上部表面への塗布(本明細書では「上部印刷パターン」と呼ぶ)、または
(iii)他の複数の層同士の間への塗布(本明細書では「中間印刷パターン」と呼ぶ)
のいずれかを行うことができる。
(i)重力、
(ii)(表面張力により生じる)毛管作用、
(iii)熱処理炉内において樹脂および可塑剤が気化する前の、フリット入りの溶融樹脂および可塑剤の、例えば膨張による移動、
(iv)吸引、例えば、上部インク層から樹脂マトリックスを燃焼除去することにより、以前はマトリックス材を含んでいたインクの隙間内に部分的に真空が引き起こされることにより生じる吸引、
(v)熱処理および真空/排気を行い得るオートクレーブの排気により生じる真空または部分的な真空、
(vi)熱処理および圧力を生じ得るオートクレーブ内においてかけられる圧力、または
(vii)遠心力。
図2Aから図2Eに、同様の製品を作り出す本発明の代替方法を示す。図2Bにおいて、図2Aのガラスパネル10は、一般にセラミックインクと同様だがセラミックインクのガラスフリット成分がない層14でコーティングされる。図2Cでは、第2の層20を、上部印刷パターン13の形態で塗布し、この層は、一般にガラスフリットを含むセラミックインクである。図2Dでは、図2Cの印刷されたパネルを熱処理し、それによって、層20のガラスフリットが、溶融し、ガラスフリットの一部分が、第1の層14中に移動し、ガラスパネル10と融合する。印刷パターン13の範囲外の第1の層14の部分は、熱処理炉内において燃焼除去し、かつ/または次の仕上げ工程において除去する。図2Eでは、フリットが減少することにより改質されて層120になる層20と、フリットが追加されることにより改質されて層114になる層14とを、非印刷部分15を残すように、印刷パターン13の形態で、実質的に正確に位置合わせをして重ねる。
Claims (8)
- ガラスパネルを製造する方法であって、前記パネルを複数の別個の被印刷領域および/または複数の別個の非印刷領域に細分する印刷パターンの形態で複数の層が部分的に印刷され、前記複数の層が実質的に正確に位置合わせされる前記方法は、
(i)前記印刷パターンの形態で複数の層をガラスシートに設けるステップであって、前記複数の層の1つの層は、ガラスフリットを含むセラミックインクを含有し、前記複数の層の別の層は、ガラスフリットを含まない前記ステップと、
(ii)前記ガラスシートおよび前記複数の層を加熱処理工程にかけるステップであって、前記ガラスフリットが、前記印刷パターン内において、溶融し前記ガラスシートと融合し、前記複数の層の別の層を結合する前記ステップと、
(iii)前記印刷パターン外の前記複数の層の別の層の部分を、前記熱処理工程中に燃焼除去および/または気化させ、かつ/または次の仕上げ工程により除去するステップと、
を含むガラスパネル製造方法。 - 複数の前記領域は、同じ長さの境界線を有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数の前記領域は、異なる色と、間隔をおいて配置された境界線とを有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ガラスフリットおよび樹脂マトリックス材を含む透明なセラミックインクによって、前記印刷パターンを画定する請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記複数の層の前記1つの層は、樹脂マトリックスを含み、前記複数の層の前記1つの層を予熱処理し、前記複数の層の前記1つの層から前記樹脂マトリックスを実質的に除去する請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 溶融した液体状態の前記ガラスフリットが、前記複数の層の別の層内へ移動する請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記熱処理工程中に前記樹脂マトリックスを溶融させて液体樹脂にする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記熱処理工程中に、前記液体の樹脂が、前記複数の層の1つの層から前記複数の層の別の層へ前記ガラスフリットの粒子を運ぶ請求項7に記載の方法。
