Abstract
【解決手段】相互に対向して配置される第1基板10及び第2基板20と、第2基板に形成されるアドレス電極22と、第1基板と第2基板との間の空間に配置されて放電セル25及び非放電セル27を画定する隔壁26と、各放電セル内に形成される蛍光体層28と、第1基板に形成され、バス電極181及び相互離隔してバス電極毎に複数形成される拡大電極183を含む表示電極18と、を含み、放電セルは、隔壁のうちアドレス電極の長さ方向に延びた第1隔壁部材26aと、第1隔壁部材と実質的に直交する第2隔壁部材26bとによって画定され、アドレス電極の長さ方向に沿って配置される放電セルの間に位置する非放電セルは、第1隔壁部材と平行な第3隔壁部材26cによって画定され、各第3隔壁部材の断面積は第1基板に向かって次第に小さくなる。

Claims (9)
- 相互に対向して配置される第1基板及び第2基板と、
前記第2基板に形成されるアドレス電極と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間の空間に配置されて放電セル及び非放電セルを画定する隔壁と、
前記各放電セル内に形成される蛍光体層と、
前記第1基板に形成され、バス電極及び相互離隔して当該バス電極毎に複数形成される拡大電極を含む表示電極と、
を含み、
前記放電セルは、前記隔壁のうち前記アドレス電極の長さ方向に延びた第1隔壁部材と、当該第1隔壁部材と実質的に直交する第2隔壁部材とによって画定され、前記アドレス電極の長さ方向に沿って配置される前記放電セルの間に位置する前記非放電セルは、前記第1隔壁部材と平行な第3隔壁部材によって画定され、前記各第3隔壁部材の断面積は、前記第1基板に向かって次第に小さくなる、プラズマ表示パネル。 - 前記第3隔壁部材の側面が傾斜面で形成される、請求項1に記載のプラズマ表示パネル。
- 前記第3隔壁部材の両側面が傾斜面で形成され、当該第3隔壁部材の前記第1基板に対向する端部で前記両側面の傾斜面が直接連結される、請求項2に記載のプラズマ表示パネル。
- 前記アドレス電極の長さ方向と交差する方向に沿った前記第3隔壁部材の前記第1基板に対向する端部の幅は、0より大きく10.0μm以下である、請求項1に記載のプラズマ表示パネル。
- 前記第3隔壁部材は、前記第1隔壁部材からずれて前記アドレス電極の長さ方向に配置される、請求項1に記載のプラズマ表示パネル。
- 前記第3隔壁部材が、隣接する前記第1隔壁部材間の中心位置に対応して配置される、請求項5に記載のプラズマ表示パネル。
- 前記蛍光体層は、ディスペンサで蛍光体を塗布して形成される、請求項1に記載のプラズマ表示パネル。
- 前記ディスペンサは、前記アドレス電極の長さ方向に沿って移動しながら蛍光体を塗布する、請求項7に記載のプラズマ表示パネル。
- 前記第3隔壁部材は、サンドブラスト法又はエッチング法で形成される、請求項1に記載のプラズマ表示パネル。
