Abstract


【課題】 ユニットの凸状ガイドレールがラックの凹状ガイドレールに挿入されているかどうか目視確認できない場合でもユニットを容易にラックに挿入できるユニット位置決め装置を提供する。
【解決手段】 ユニット１の上下に設けた凸状ガイドレール２を、ユニット１を収納するラック３に設置した凹状ガイドレール４に挿入することで、ユニット１の位置決めを行なうユニット位置決め装置において、ユニット１の凸状ガイドレール２に３個の凸部を設け、その３個の凸状ガイドレール２をラック３の凹状ガイドレール４に摺動自在に装着させる。

Description

本発明は、ユニット位置決めに関する。
図３は、従来のユニット位置決め装置を示す正面図である。
図において、１はユニット、２は凸状ガイドレール、３はラック、４は凹状ガイドレールである。
ユニット１の凸状ガイドレール２を、ラック３の凹状ガイドレール４に挿入することで、ユニット側コネクタをバックボードに配置したラック側コネクタに接続する。
また、電子機器筐体に搭載する基板を挿抜するため、凹凸形ガイドレールを用いたものも提案されている（例えば、特許文献１参照）。

従来のユニット位置決め装置は、ユニットの凸状ガイドレールが１個であるためラックの凹状ガイドレールとの位置決めが容易でないため、ユニットのラック挿入が困難であった。
そこで、本発明はこのような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、ユニットの凸状ガイドレールがラックの凹状ガイドレールに挿入されているかどうか目視確認できない場合でもユニットを容易にラックに挿入できるユニット位置決め装置を提供することを目的とする。
上記問題を解決するため、本発明は、ユニットの上下に設けた凸状ガイドレールを、前記ユニットを収納するラックに設置した凹状ガイドレールに挿入することで、ユニットの位置決めを行うユニット位置決め装置において、前記ユニットの凸状ガイドレールに３個の凸部を設け、その３個の凸状ガイドレールを前記ラックの凹状ガイドレールに摺動自在に装着するものである。
請求項１に記載の発明によれば、ラックの凹状ガイドレールに挿入可能なユニットの凸状ガイドレールは３個の凸部のうち中央の凸部のみであるため、挿入可能な部分は１箇所に決まるので、ユニットの凸状ガイドレールとラックの凹状ガイドレールとの位置決めが容易となり、ユニットのラック挿入をスムーズに行うことができる。
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図に基づいて説明する。
図１は、本発明のユニット位置決め装置を用いた電子筐体を示す斜視図、図２は、本発明のユニット位置決め装置を示す正面図である。
図において、１はユニット、１aは取付板、２は凸状ガイドレール、３はラック、４は凹状ガイドレール、５はユニット側コネクタ、６はバックボード、７はラック側コネクタである。
つぎに、動作について説明する。
図に示すように、ユニット１の凸状ガイドレール２の３個の凸部のうち中央の凸部をラック３の凹状ガイドレール４に挿入して、ユニット１とラック３の位置決めを行う。その後、凹状ガイドレール４に従ってユニット１をラック３に挿入し、ユニット側コネクタ５をバックボード６に配置したラック側コネクタ７に接続する。
ユニット1前部にラック３に取付けるための取付板１aが取付けてあり、ユニット１の凸状ガイドレールがラック３の凹状ガイドレールに挿入されているかどうか目視確認できない場合でもユニット１を容易にラック３に挿入することができる。

Claims (1)

  1. ユニットの上下に設けた凸状ガイドレールを、前記ユニットを収納するラックに設置した凹状ガイドレールに挿入することで、ユニットの位置決めを行うユニット位置決め装置において、
    前記ユニットの凸状ガイドレールに３個の凸部を設け、その３個の凸部を前記ラックの凹状ガイドレールに摺動自在に装着することを特徴とするユニット位置決め装置。
