Abstract

Claims (20)
- データの視覚化を実行するシステムであって、
1つまたは複数のオブジェクトを備えるデータストアと、
前記オブジェクトの少なくとも1つのサブセットを前記データストアから少なくとも1つのバンドへ、少なくとも部分的には各オブジェクトの時間パラメータに基づいて編成して、前記オブジェクトを、時間ベースの方法における少なくとも1人のユーザによるビューのために使用可能にする視覚化コンポーネントと、
前記1つまたは複数のオブジェクトを、前記少なくとも1つのバンド内に編成されるように表示する表示コンポーネントと
を備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記1つまたは複数のオブジェクトに、メタデータによりアノテーション付けするアノテーションコンポーネントをさらに備え、前記メタデータは、時間パラメータ、オブジェクト名、オブジェクトのパス名、オブジェクトのサイズ、および、前記オブジェクトのコンテンツに関係する情報を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記時間ベースの方法において、複数のバンドまたはオブジェクトのうち少なくとも1つの間のナビゲートを実施する、時間ベースナビゲーションコントロールをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 表示上で前記ユーザにとっていずれか1つの時間で可視である詳細の量を調整する、ズーミングコンポーネントをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ズーミングコンポーネントは、前記ユーザにとって前記表示上で可視である前記詳細の量を容易に調整するための、1つまたは複数の時間ベースズームナビゲーションコントロールを備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記ズーミングコンポーネントは、一度に少なくとも1つのバンドの展開または圧縮のうち少なくとも1つを実行することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 各バンド内でいずれか1つの時間パラメータで編成された前記オブジェクトに関連付けられた少なくとも1つのパラメータを測定し、パラメータインジケータを前記ユーザに前記表示上で視覚化する、パラメータ追跡コンポーネントをさらに備え、前記パラメータは、サイズ、密度およびストレージロケーションを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記パラメータ追跡コンポーネントは、各バンド内でいずれか1つの時間パラメータで編成されたオブジェクトの数を測定し、密度インジケータを前記ユーザに各バンド内で表示する、オブジェクト密度追跡コンポーネントであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記表示上で可視のデータにわたって、その上に示された複数のバンドを介して、少なくとも1つのズームナビゲーションコントロール、少なくとも1つのバンドナビゲーションコントロール、および、少なくとも1つの時間ベースナビゲーションコントロールのうち少なくとも1つを使用することによって、前記ユーザをナビゲートするブラウジングコンポーネントをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 1つまたは複数のオブジェクトを前記バンド内のビューから、部分的には1つまたは複数のフィルタ語に基づいて除去する、フィルタリングコンポーネントをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つまたは複数のフィルタ語は、少なくとも部分的には、前記バンドのオブジェクトに関連付けられたメタデータに基づいて選択されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。
- オブジェクト管理および視覚化の方法であって、
少なくとも1つのデータストアを複数のオブジェクトによりポピュレートするステップと、
前記オブジェクトの少なくとも1つのサブセットを少なくとも1つのバンドへ、少なくとも部分的には各オブジェクトの時間パラメータに基づいて編成して、前記オブジェクトを、少なくとも時間ベースの方法におけるユーザによるビューのために使用可能にすることを実施するステップと、
1つまたは複数のオブジェクトを、前記少なくとも1つのバンド内に編成されるように表示するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記オブジェクトの少なくとも1つのサブセットに、メタデータによりアノテーション付けするステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記時間ベースの方法において、複数のバンドまたはオブジェクトのうち少なくとも1つの間でナビゲートするステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- それにおいてさらなるアクションを実行するための少なくとも1つのオブジェクトを選択するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- オブジェクトまたはバンドのうち少なくとも1つのズームインまたはズームアウトのうち少なくとも1つを行って、前記ユーザにとって可視である詳細の量を変更するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 各バンド内でいずれか1つの時間パラメータで編成されたオブジェクトの少なくとも相対数を測定して、前記オブジェクトに関連付けられた少なくとも1つのパラメータ値を視覚化するステップをさらに備え、前記少なくとも1つのパラメータ値は、前記オブジェクトの密度、サイズおよびストレージロケーションのうち少なくとも1つを備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記オブジェクトのすべてが一度にビュー内にあるとは限らない場合、どのオブジェクトをいずれかのバンド内で次に表示するべきかを決定するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- どのオブジェクトを次に表示するべきかを決定するステップは、少なくとも部分的には、前記オブジェクトが表示面までどの程度近いかに基づき、「近い」はオブジェクトの重要性のレベルの機能であることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。
- オブジェクト管理および視覚化のシステムであって、
少なくとも1つのデータストアを複数のオブジェクトによりポピュレートする手段と、
前記オブジェクトの少なくとも1つのサブセットを少なくとも1つのバンドへ、少なくとも部分的には各オブジェクトの時間パラメータに基づいて編成して、前記オブジェクトを、少なくとも時間ベースの方法におけるユーザによるビューのために使用可能にすることを実施する手段と、
1つまたは複数のオブジェクトを、前記少なくとも1つ内に編成されるように表示する手段と、
前記時間ベースの方法において、複数のバンドまたはオブジェクトのうち少なくとも1つの間でナビゲートする手段と、
オブジェクトまたはバンドのうち少なくとも1つのズームインまたはズームアウトのうち少なくとも1つを行って、前記ユーザにとって可視である詳細の量を変更する手段と、
各バンド内でいずれか1つの時間パラメータで編成されたオブジェクトの少なくとも相対数を測定して、前記オブジェクトに関連付けられた少なくとも1つのパラメータ値を視覚化する手段と
を備え、前記少なくとも1つのパラメータ値は、前記オブジェクトの密度、サイズおよびストレージロケーションのうち少なくとも1つを備えることを特徴とするシステム。
