Abstract
【解決手段】 シリンダボア部3に対し、その軸線方向に切削工具7を送りつつ、その円周方向に沿って切削工具7を移動させるよう回転移動させて、シリンダボア内面5をねじ状に切削加工して粗面化する。この際、切削工具7の送り方向後方側のシリンダボア内面5に残るねじ状部分の山部17に対し、切刃7aに設けた凸部7cによって応力を作用させ、山部17を破断して破断面19を形成する。

Claims (10)
- 円筒状部材に対し、その軸線方向に切削工具を相対的に送りつつ、その円周方向に沿って前記切削工具を相対的に移動させて、前記円筒状部材の表面をねじ状に切削加工して粗面化する粗面化加工方法において、前記切削工具の送り方向後方側の前記円筒状部材の表面に残るねじ状部分の山部に前記切削工具により応力を作用させ、前記山部を破断して破断面を形成することを特徴とする粗面化加工方法。
- 前記山部の幅方向における前記切削工具側の一部に前記応力を作用させることで、この応力作用部を、前記山部を破断する際の起点とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の粗面化加工方法。
- 前記山部の幅方向における山部全体に前記応力を作用させることで、前記山部の幅方向全体を破断させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の粗面化加工方法。
- 円筒状部材に対し、その軸線方向に相対的に送りつつ、その円周方向に沿って相対的に移動させて、前記円筒状部材の表面をねじ状に切削加工して粗面化する切削工具において、前記円筒状部材の表面をねじ状に切削加工する切刃と、この切刃に設けられ、前記切削工具の送り方向後方側の前記円筒状部材の表面に残るねじ状部分の山部に応力を作用させてこの山部を破断して破断面を形成する破断面形成刃とを、それぞれ有することを特徴とする切削工具。
- 前記破断面形成刃は、前記山部の幅方向における前記切削工具側の一部に前記応力を作用させることで、この応力作用部を起点として前記山部を破断することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の切削工具。
- 前記破断面形成刃は、前記山部の幅方向における山部全体に前記応力を作用させることで、前記山部の幅方向全体を破断させることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の切削工具。
- 前記破断面形成刃は、前記山部の幅方向全体を破断して形成する破断面に対して凹凸形状とするための凹凸形状部を備えていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の切削工具。
- 表面がねじ状に粗面化されて、他の材料への密着機能を有した円筒状部材において、前記表面には、前記ねじ状部分の山部に工具により応力を作用させて前記山部が破断される破断面を備えていることを特徴とする円筒状部材。
- 前記円筒状部材は、エンジンのシリンダブロックに形成したシリンダボア部であり、そのシリンダボア内面が、前記ねじ状に粗面化されるとともに前記山部が破断された破断面を備えて溶射皮膜が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の円筒状部材。
- 前記円筒状部材は、エンジンのシリンダブロックに鋳込まれたシリンダライナであり、このシリンダライナの前記シリンダブロックに接合された外周面が、前記ねじ状に粗面化されるとともに前記山部が破断された破断面を備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の円筒状部材。
