Abstract
稼働率を向上できる粒子線照射システムを提供することにある。
【解決手段】
陽子線ライナック1から出射されたイオンビームは、スイッチング電磁石5によって
90度偏向され、ビーム輸送系9を経てRI製造装置10に導かれる。RI製造装置10内ではそのイオンビームによってRIが製造される。陽子線ライナック3からのイオンビームは、スイッチング電磁石5によって90度偏向され、ビーム輸送系6を経てシンクロトロン7に導かれる。シンクロトロン7から出射されたイオンビームは照射装置12から患者に照射される。陽子線ライナック3が異常状態になった場合には、その運転を停止して保守点検を行う。このとき、陽子線ライナック1から出射されたイオンビームは、スイッチング電磁石5によってRI製造装置10およびシンクロトロン7に交互に導かれる。

Description
16からビーム輸送系6,9の各真空ダクト16にイオンビームを導けるように、切欠きが設けられている。この切欠きは、イオンビームの通過領域(通路)となる。

RI(例えば、フッ素18)が製造される。陽子線ライナック3から出射されたイオンビームは、ビーム輸送系4を通り、スイッチング電磁石5の作用によりビーム輸送系6の方向に90度偏向され、ビーム輸送系6によってシンクロトロン7に導かれる。このイオンビームは、シンクロトロン7によって設定されたエネルギーになるまで更に加速される。設定エネルギーに到達したイオンビームは、シンクロトロン7からビーム輸送系21に出射され、照射装置12に導かれる。照射装置12から患者(図示せず)の患部に照射される。
Claims (3)
- 荷電粒子ビームを出射する一方の第1加速器と、荷電粒子ビームを出射する他方の第1加速器と、放射線同位元素製造装置と、第2加速器と、前記一方の第1加速器から出射された前記荷電粒子ビームを前記放射線同位元素製造装置および前記第2加速器のうちの一方に導き、前記他方の第1加速器から出射された前記荷電粒子ビームを前記放射線同位元素製造装置および前記第2加速器のうちの他方に導くビーム経路切替え装置と、前記第2加速器から出射された前記荷電粒子ビームが導かれる照射装置とを備えたことを特徴とする粒子線照射システム。
- 切替え電磁石である前記切替え電磁石の極性を切替えることによって前記荷電粒子ビームを前記放射線同位元素製造装置および前記第2加速器のうちの一方から他方に向かって偏向させる制御装置を備えた請求項1記載の粒子線照射システム。
- 前記一方の第1加速器および前記他方の第1加速器の一方が異常状態であるとき、残りの前記第1加速器から出射される前記荷電粒子ビームを、前記放射線同位元素製造装置および前記第2加速器に交互に切替えるように前記極性を切替える前記制御装置を備えた請求項3の粒子線照射システム。
