Abstract
【解決手段】本発明により,第1電極タップ215が取付けられた第1電極板210,第2電極タップ225が取付けられた第2電極板220,及び第1電極板210及び第2電極板220との間に介在されるセパレータが積層されたまま複数回巻き取られた電極組立体200と,電極組立体200の少なくとも一部に巻取方向に対して直交する方向に取付けられた電極組立体変形防止体300と,電極組立体変形防止体300が取付けられた電極組立体200を収容する開口部を備えたケース110と,ケース100と接合して上記開口部を閉塞し電極組立体200と電気的に接続される端子部が形成されたキャップ組立体400とを含むリチウム二次電池100およびその製造方法が提供される。

Claims (16)
- 第1電極タップが取付けられた第1電極板,第2電極タップが取付けられた第2電極板,および前記第1電極板と前記第2電極板との間に介在されるセパレータが積層されたまま複数回巻き取られた電極組立体と;
前記電極組立体の少なくとも一部に,巻取方向に対して直交する方向に取付けられた電極組立体変形防止体と;
前記電極組立体変形防止体が取付けられた前記電極組立体を収容する開口部を備えたケースと;
前記ケースと接合して前記開口部を閉塞し前記電極組立体と電気的に接続される端子部が形成されたキャップ組立体と;
を含むことを特徴とする,リチウム二次電池。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体は,少なくとも前記電極組立体に設けられた前記第1電極タップと前記第2電極タップとの間を覆うように取付けられることを特徴とする,請求項1記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体変形防止体は,前記電極組立体の巻取方向と直交する方向に前記電極組立体の外周部を覆う形態からなることを特徴とする,請求項1記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体変形防止体は,前記電極組立体の巻取方向に対して直交する方向に前記電極組立体の外周部を覆う第1電極組立体変形防止体と,
前記電極組立体の巻取方向に対して同一の方向に前記電極組立体の外周部を覆う第2電極組立体変形防止体とからなることを特徴とする,請求項1記載のリチウム二次電池。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体は,前記電極組立体の前記第1電極タップと前記第2電極タップとが配設される一側の端面と,当該端面に相対する他側の端面とを通るように,前記電極組立体の巻取方向と直交する方向に前記電極組立体に巻き付けられる帯状形状を有し,
前記帯状の電極組立体変形防止体の両端が,前記電極組立体の同一の側面上に配置されることを特徴とする,請求項1記載のリチウム二次電池。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体は,前記電極組立体の前記第1電極タップと前記第2電極タップとが配設される一側の端面を通るように,前記電極組立体の巻取方向と直交する方向に前記電極組立体に巻き付けられる帯状形状を有し,
前記電極組立体変形防止体の両端が,相異なる前記電極組立体の側面上にそれぞれ配置されることを特徴とする,請求項1記載のリチウム二次電池。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体は,前記電極組立体の前記第1電極タップと前記第2電極タップとが配設される一側の端面に相対する他側の端面を通るように,前記電極組立体の巻取方向と直交する方向に前記電極組立体に巻き付けられる帯状形状を有し,
前記電極組立体変形防止体の両端が,相異なる前記電極組立体の側面上にそれぞれ配置されることを特徴とする,請求項1記載のリチウム二次電池。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体が,接着テープからなることを特徴とする,請求項1記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体変形防止体の幅は,前記第1電極タップ及び前記第2電極タップ間の距離の1/2以上であることを特徴とする,請求項8記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体変形防止体が,ポリエチレン,ポリプロピレン,ポリフェニレンスルフィドのうちの少なくともいずれか1つからなることを特徴とする,請求項8記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 第1電極タップが取付けられた第1電極板,第2電極タップが取付けられた第2電極板,および前記第1電極板と前記第2電極板との間に介在されるセパレータを積層されたまま複数回巻取って,電極組立体を形成する工程と;
前記電極組立体の少なくとも一部に,巻取方向に対して直交する方向に電極組立体変形防止体を取付ける工程と;
前記電極組立体変形防止体に外周部が覆われた電極組立体をケースに収納する工程と;
を含むことを特徴とする,リチウム二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体を取付ける工程では,
前記電極組立体変形防止体が,前記電極組立体の巻取方向に対して直交する方向に,前記電極組立体の外周部を覆うように取付けられることを特徴とする,請求項11記載のリチウム二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体を取付ける工程では,
第1電極組立体変形防止体が,前記電極組立体の巻取方向に対して直交する方向に前記電極組立体の外周部を覆うように取付けられる工程と,
第2電極組立体変形防止体が,前記電極組立体の巻取方向に対して同一の方向に前記電極組立体の外周部を覆うように取付けられる工程とを含むことを特徴とする,請求項11記載のリチウム二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体を取付ける工程では,
帯状形状を有する前記電極組立体変形防体の一端が,前記電極組立体の一側の側面に配置され,
前記帯状形状を有する電極組立体変形防止体が,前記第1電極タップと前記第2電極タップとが配設される一側の端面,前記一の側面と相対する側面,および前記一側の端面と相対する他側の端面に沿って巻き付けられ,
前記帯状形状を有する電極組立体変形防止体の他端が,前記一側の側面に配置されることを特徴とする,請求項11記載のリチウム二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体を取付ける工程では,
帯状形状を有する前記電極組立体変形防止体の一端が,前記電極組立体の一側の側面に配置され,
前記帯状形状を有する電極組立体変形防止体が,前記電極組立体の前記第1電極タップと前記第2電極タップとが配設される一側の端面に沿って巻き付けられ,
前記帯状形状を有する電極組立体変形防止体の他端が,前記一側の側面と相対する他側の側面に配置されることを特徴とする,請求項11記載のリチウム二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極組立体変形防止体を取付ける工程では,
帯状形状を有する前記電極組立体変形防止体の一端が,前記電極組立体の一側の側面に配置され,
前記帯状形状を有する電極組立体変形防止体が,前記電極組立体の前記第1電極タップと前記第2電極タップとが配設される端面と相対する他側の端面に沿って巻き付けられ,
前記帯状形状を有する電極組立体変形防止体の他端が,前記一側の側面と相対する他側の側面に配置されることを特徴とする,請求項11記載のリチウム二次電池の製造方法。
