Claims (5)
- 第1電極板と、第2電極板と、前記第1電極板及び第2電極板間に介されてこれらを絶縁させ、前記第1電極板及び第2電極板の上部に突出した部分の長さが下部に突出した部分の長さより長いセパレータと、を備える巻取型電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を受容するための二次電池用外装材と、
前記二次電池用外装材の上部に結合されたキャップ組立体と、
を含み、
前記キャップ組立体の下部に、前記セパレータの前記第1電極板及び第2電極板の上部に突出した部分が位置し、
前記セパレータは、前記第1電極板及び第2電極板の上部に突出した部分の長さが1.0mm乃至2.0mmであり、かつ上部に突出した部分の長さが下部に突出した部分の長さの1.3倍乃至2倍であることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記セパレータは、前記上部に突出した部分の長さが全幅(W)の2%乃至4%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記セパレータは、下部に突出した部分の長さが全高さの2%乃至3%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極板及び第2電極板に付着されて所定長さ突出する第1電極タブ及び第2電極タブを更に備え、
前記第1電極タブ及び第2電極タブが突出する境界部には前記第1電極板及び第2電極板間のショートを防止するための絶縁テープを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記二次電池用外装材は、円筒形ケース又は角形ケースであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
