Claims (36)
- ほとんど成層運転させることができない直噴ガソリンエンジン(12)と、少なくとも1個の触媒(18)を有し、ガソリンエンジン(12)の下流に配置された触媒系(16)とを有する内燃機関設備であって、触媒系(16)全体が、0.8×エンジン排気量(VH)未満又はエンジンの定格馬力(PNENN)100kWあたりしばしば1.3未満の触媒容量(KV)を有し、触媒系(16)の少なくとも1個の触媒(18)への貴金属の平均比装填量が3.59g/dm3未満であり、少なくとも1個の触媒(18)の貴金属の全質量が、エンジン排気量(VH)1リットルあたり2g未満であるか、またはガソリンエンジン(12)の定格馬力(PNENN)100kWあたり3.5g未満であることを特徴とする内燃機関設備(10)。
- 触媒系(16)が0.7×エンジン排気量(VH)未満の全触媒容量(KV)を有する、請求項1記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系(16)が0.6×エンジン排気量(VH)未満の全触媒容量(KV)を有する、請求項1記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系(16)がエンジン定格馬力(PNENN)100KWあたり1.15L未満の全触媒容量(KV)を有する、請求項1記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系(16)がエンジン定格馬力(PNENN)100KWあたり1.00L未満の全触媒容量(KV)を有する、請求項1記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系(16)がエンジン定格馬力(PNENN)100KWあたり0.85L未満の全触媒容量(KV)を有する、請求項1記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系が、互いに並列に配置された少なくとも2個の触媒(18)を含むか、1個の触媒(22)及び互いに並列に配置された少なくとも2個の前置触媒(20)を含むか、または互いに並列に配置された少なくとも2個の主触媒(22)及びそれぞれに少なくとも1個ずつの前置触媒(20)を含む、請求項1〜6の1項記載の内燃機関。
- 触媒系(16)の少なくとも1個の触媒(18)への貴金属の平均比装填量が2.87g/dm3以下である、請求項1〜7の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系(16)の少なくとも1個の触媒(18)への貴金属の平均比装填量が2.15g/dm3以下である、請求項1〜7の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 前置触媒(20)への貴金属装填量が主触媒(22)への貴金属装填量に比べ最大70%高い、請求項1〜8の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 前置触媒(20)への貴金属装填量が主触媒(22)への貴金属装填量に比べ最大50%高い、請求項1〜8の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 前置触媒(20)への貴金属装填量が主触媒(22)への貴金属装填量に比べ最大30%高い、請求項1〜8の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系(16)中の貴金属の全質量がガソリンエンジン(12)のエンジン排気量(VH)1リットルあたり1.6g未満である、請求項1〜12の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系(16)中の貴金属の全質量がガソリンエンジン(12)のエンジン排気量(VH)1リットルあたり1.2g未満である、請求項1〜12の1項記載の内燃機関設備。

- 少なくとも1個の触媒(18)又は少なくとも1個の前置触媒(20)が、ガソリンエンジン(12)の一番近い出口弁から排気ガスパイプライン長として800mm未満の距離にある、請求項1〜20の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 少なくとも1個の触媒(18)又は少なくとも1個の前置触媒(20)が、ガソリンエンジン(12)の一番近い出口弁から排気ガスパイプライン長として500mm未満の距離にある、請求項1〜20の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 少なくとも1個の触媒(18)又は少なくとも1個の前置触媒(20)が、ガソリンエンジン(12)の一番近い出口弁から排気ガスパイプライン長として300mm未満の距離にある、請求項1〜20の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 少なくとも1個の前置触媒(20)及び少なくとも1個の下流の主触媒(22)が互いに100mmを越えるの距離にある、請求項7〜23の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 少なくとも1個の前置触媒(20)が少なくとも1個の下流の主触媒(22)の容量の70%以下の容量を有する、請求項7〜24の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 少なくとも1個の前置触媒(20)が少なくとも1個の下流の主触媒(22)の容量の50%以下の容量を有する、請求項7〜24の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 少なくとも1個の前置触媒(20)が少なくとも1個の下流の主触媒(22)の容量の30%以下の容量を有する、請求項7〜24の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 触媒系(16)の触媒がセラミックサポートに担持されている、請求項1〜26の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
- 少なくとも1個の触媒(18)又は少なくとも1個の主触媒(22)がセラミック担体にサポートされている、請求項1〜26の1項記載の内燃機関設備。
