Claims (12)

  1. アド・ホック通信ネットワークにおける衝突回避動作中の通信方法であって、
    不良通信チャネルの使用に対する第1の動作モード、良通信チャネルの使用に対する第2の動作モードを含む、複数のチャネル動作条件に伴う複数の動作モードを確立し、
    第1のモードで動作中は、ノードによる衝突回避メッセージ内のチャネル予約長の最大値の予測を伝送し、そして
    第2モードで動作中は、ノードによる衝突回避メッセージ内のチャネル予約長の実際の値を伝送することを特徴とする方法。
  2. 不良通信チャネル内の通信は、高い再送確率を含む請求項1記載の方法。
  3. さらに、前記第2のモードで前記チャネル予約長の最大値の予測を伝送するに先立ち、
    前記チャネル予約が関連付けられた通信に対して期待された数の送信セグメント及び期待された数の再送セグメントに基づき前記チャネル予約長の最大値を予測することを含む請求項1記載の方法。
  4. 良通信チャネル内の通信は、低い再送確率を含む請求項1記載の方法。
  5. 前記チャネル動作条件は、他デバイスからの干渉レベル、無線伝播、雑音レベル、そしてマルチパスと高移動度によるフェーディングレベルを含むグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
  6. 前記衝突回避メッセージのそれぞれは、前記ノードとそれ以外の1つあるいはそれ以上のノードとの間の衝突回避多重アクセス(multiple access with collision avoidance: MACA)ハンドシェイクで通信を行っている、1つあるいはそれ以上のメッセージ送信要求とメッセージ送信解除を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
  7. さらに、前記第2のモードで伝送するに先立ち、前記チャネル予約長の実際の値を決定するために、前記ノードにより前記良通信チャネルをモニターすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
  8. さらに、前記第2のモードで動作中は、前記ノードにより伝送された前記衝突回避メッセージ内の前記チャネル予約長の実際の長さを、1つあるいはそれ以上の他のノードで受信し、そして
    1つあるいはそれ以上の衝突回避メッセージの伝送で使用するために前記1つあるいはそれ以上の他のノードで前記チャネル予約長の実際の値を保持することを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。
  9. さらに、前記第1のモードで伝送するに先立ち、
    1つあるいはそれ以上の部分的受領メッセージと完全受領メッセージ(ACK)の検出を含み前記ノードにより前記不良通信チャネルをモニターし、そして
    前記受信した1つあるいはそれ以上の前記部分的受領メッセージと完全受領メッセージを使用して前記チャネル予約長の最大値を予測することを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
  10. さらに、前記第1のモードで動作中は、前記ノードから伝送された前記衝突回避メッセージの中の前記チャネル予約長の最大値の予測を、1つあるいはそれ以上の他のノードで受信し、そして
    1つあるいはそれ以上の衝突回避メッセージの伝送で使用するために前記1つあるいはそれ以上の他のノードで前記チャネル予約長の実際の値を保持することを特徴とする請求項9記載の方法。
  11. さらに、前記1つあるいはそれ以上の他のノードで
    前記不良通信チャネルをモニターし、そして
    前記不良チャネル上で受信した1つあるいはそれ以上のメッセージにもとづいて前記チャネル予約長の予測長をアップデートすることを特徴とする請求項10記載の方法。
  12. 前記衝突回避メッセージのそれぞれが自動反復要求(automatic repeat request: ARQ)再伝送メッセージを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
