放射線出力位置の複数の組が設けられ、各組は上記光学要素の一つに関連付けられた対応した水平幅全体にわたり広がり、放射線出力位置は、放射線出力位置の複数の組のうちの各組からの少なくとも一つの放射線出力位置の選択により射出瞳が視野の選択された部分に形成されるように選択可能であり、
上記放射線出力位置の各組は、放射線出力位置から発射された光出力の水平広がりを制限するアパーチャが関連付けられ、上記アパーチャのそれぞれは、関連付けられた放射線出力位置の組の水平幅よりも小さい水平広がりを有する、
自動立体ディスプレイシステムが提供される。
Claims (21)
- 視野全体で射出瞳を移動することができ、見る人が各射出瞳において選択された眼のための映像を見ることができる自動立体ディスプレイシステムであって、
放射線の選択的減衰により映像を生成する映像形成装置と、前記映像形成装置へ向けて放射線を発射する光学要素のアレイと、放射線を前記光学要素のアレイに出力する放射線出力位置のアレイと、を備え、
放射線出力位置の複数の組が設けられ、各組が前記光学要素の一つに関連付けられた対応した水平幅全体にわたり広がり、放射線出力位置が、射出瞳が放射線出力位置の複数の組のうちの各組からの少なくとも一つの放射線出力位置の選択により視野の選択された部分に形成されるように選択可能であり、
前記放射線出力位置の各組が、放射線出力位置から発射された光出力の水平広がりを制限するアパーチャが関連付けられ、前記アパーチャのそれぞれが、関連付けられた放射線出力位置の組の水平幅よりも狭い水平広がりを有する、
自動立体ディスプレイシステム。 - 前記アパーチャが、映像形成装置の方へ発射された放射線において異なるアパーチャを通過する放射線の間で重なり合いが生ずるように、前記アパーチャのエッジで徐々に変化する水平透過率プロファイルを有する、請求項1記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記水平広がりが最大透過率の半分のアパーチャの幅によって画成される、請求項2記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記光学要素が屈折レンズ要素を備える、請求項1、2又は3記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記レンズ要素が少なくとも二つの要素が垂直方向で重なり合う構造に配置される、請求項4記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- アパーチャが映像形成装置へ向けて発射された放射線が水平方向で実質的に均一強度を有するように配置される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 映像形成装置が放射線を伝達するため選択的に作動可能である領域を有する平面的な要素を備える、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 映像形成装置が左眼用の映像と右眼用の映像をそれぞれ別々の行に形成するように配置される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 映像形成装置と視野との間に設置された垂直拡散及び/又は垂直屈折要素を備える、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 左眼映像用の放射線を伝達するため配置された第1のアパーチャの組と、右眼映像用の放射線を伝達するため配置された第2のアパーチャの組と、を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- フィールド順次動作で映像を伝達するように構成され、
左眼映像用及び右眼映像用の映像フレームがそれぞれ、左眼射出瞳及び右眼射出瞳のそれぞれの放射線出力位置の選択と同期して、前記映像形成装置に交互に形成される、
請求項1〜10のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。 - 複数の異なる視点位置に複数の射出瞳を形成するため、前記放射線出力位置の組のそれぞれから複数の放射線出力位置を同時に選択するように構成されている、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記放射線出力位置が、選択された出力位置の変動によって映像形成装置に対する射出瞳の水平角度を変えるため射出瞳が視野内で移動可能であるように選択可能である、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記放射線出力位置が、選択された出力位置の変動によって映像形成装置からの射出瞳の距離を変えるため射出瞳が視野内で移動可能であるように選択可能である、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記放射線出力位置が平面構造に配置される、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記放射線出力位置がそれぞれのアパーチャに中心が位置する曲面構造に配置される、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記光学要素が全内部反射を使用して前記アパーチャを介して光を投影するように配置される、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記アパーチャの広がりが対応した放射線出力位置の組の幅の四分の一よりも狭い、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記アパーチャの広がりが対応した放射線出力位置の組の幅の八分の一よりも狭い、請求項1〜18のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記光学要素が少しずつずれた構造に配置される、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 視野全体で射出瞳を移動することができ、見る人が各射出瞳において選択された眼のための映像を見ることができる自動立体ディスプレイシステムであって、
放射線の選択的減衰により映像を生成する映像形成装置と、前記映像形成装置へ向けて放射線を発射する光学要素のアレイと、放射線を前記光学要素のアレイに出力する放射線出力位置のアレイと、を備え、
放射線出力位置の組が、前記光学要素のそれぞれに対応させるため設けられ、射出瞳が前記放射線出力位置の組のそれぞれからの少なくとも一つの放射線出力位置の選択により視野の選択された部分に形成されるように選択可能であり、各組が所定の水平幅にわたって広がり、
複数の見る人の左眼位置及び右眼位置に対応した二つの射出瞳を含む複数の組を視野内の選択された位置に生成するため制御可能である、
自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
