Description
システムが、放射線の選択的減衰により映像を生成する映像形成装置と、上記映像形成装置へ向けて放射線を発射する光学要素のアレイと、放射線を上記光学要素のアレイに出力する放射線出力位置のアレイと、を備え、
放射線出力位置の複数の組が設けられ、各組は上記光学要素の一つに関連付けられた対応した水平幅全体にわたり広がり、放射線出力位置は、放射線出力位置の複数の組のうちの各組からの少なくとも一つの放射線出力位置の選択により射出瞳が視野の選択された部分に形成されるように選択可能であり、
上記放射線出力位置の各組は、放射線出力位置から発射された光出力の水平広がりを制限するアパーチャが関連付けられ、上記アパーチャのそれぞれは、関連付けられた放射線出力位置の組の水平幅よりも小さい水平広がりを有する、
自動立体ディスプレイシステムが提供される。
Claims (12)
- 視野全体で射出瞳(2,3,4)を移動することができ、見る人が各射出瞳において選択された眼のための映像を見ることができ、複数の見る人(5,6,7)の左眼位置及び右眼位置に対応する二つの射出瞳の複数の組を、前記視野内の選択された位置で生成するように制御可能な自動立体ディスプレイシステム(1)であって、
放射線の選択的減衰により映像を生成する映像形成装置(46)と、
前記映像形成装置へ向けて放射線を発射する複数のレンズ要素で構成される第1のアレイ(45)と、
放射線を前記第1のアレイに出力する少なくとも一つの放射線出力位置をそれぞれ含む複数の異なる放射線出力位置の組を有する第2のアレイと、
を備え、
複数の異なる放射線出力位置の組の各々は、複数の前記レンズ要素のうち対応する前記レンズ要素に放射線を出力するように配置されており、
前記第2のアレイ内の前記放射線出力位置は、特定の射出瞳が、異なる前記放射線出力位置の組のそれぞれからの少なくとも一つの放射線出力位置の選択により視野の選択された部分に形成されるように選択可能であり、
前記放射線出力位置の組のそれぞれに対して、前記複数の見る人のうちの一人の左眼位置及び右眼位置に対応する複数の射出瞳を生成するように、第1の複数の放射線出力位置が放射線を同時に出力するため選択可能であり、前記複数の見る人のうちの他の人の左眼位置及び右眼位置に対応する複数の射出瞳を生成するように、第2の複数の放射線出力位置が放射線を同時に出力するため選択可能であり、前記第1及び第2の複数の放射線出力位置が、二つの射出瞳の前記複数の組を生成するように選択可能であるように、制御可能である、
自動立体ディスプレイシステム。 - 前記レンズ要素と前記放射線出力位置との間に設置されたアパーチャの第3のアレイを備え、
複数の異なる前記放射線出力位置の組が所定の水平広がりにわたって広がり、
前記第3のアレイが複数のアパーチャを含み、前記アパーチャのそれぞれが、複数の異なる前記放射線出力位置の組のそれぞれと対応したレンズ要素との間に設置され、放射線出力位置の一つから出力された後に、レンズ要素から前記映像形成装置へ向けて発射された放射線ビームの水平広がりを制限し、前記アパーチャのそれぞれが、対応する放射線出力位置の組の水平幅よりも狭い水平幅を有する、請求項1に記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。 - 前記レンズ要素が屈折レンズ要素を備える、請求項1又は2に記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記レンズ要素が少なくとも二つの要素が垂直方向で重なり合う構造に配置される、請求項3記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 映像形成装置が放射線を伝達するため選択的に作動可能である領域を有する平面的な要素を備える、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 映像形成装置が左眼用の映像と右眼用の映像をそれぞれ別々の行に形成するように配置される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 映像形成装置と視野との間に設置された垂直拡散及び/又は垂直屈折要素を備える、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- フィールド順次動作で映像を伝達するように構成され、
左眼映像用及び右眼映像用の映像フレームがそれぞれ、左眼射出瞳及び右眼射出瞳のそれぞれの放射線出力位置の選択と同期して、前記映像形成装置に交互に形成される、
請求項1〜7のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。 - 前記放射線出力位置が、選択された出力位置の変動によって映像形成装置に対する射出瞳の水平角度を変えるため射出瞳が視野内で移動可能であるように選択可能である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記放射線出力位置が、選択された出力位置の変動によって映像形成装置からの射出瞳の距離を変えるため射出瞳が視野内で移動可能であるように選択可能である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 前記放射線出力位置が平面構造に配置される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
- 複数の前記レンズ要素は、所定個の前記レンズ要素が所定方向に配置されてなる複数の層が前記層の厚さ方向に重なるように配置されており、前記厚さ方向において隣接する前記層は前記所定方向にずれている、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項記載の自動立体ディスプレイシステム。
