Claims (9)

  1. 1組の揚力型風力タービンにおいて、
    各風力タービンが、
    垂直軸の回りに回転するシャフトと、
    前記シャフトとともに回転するように該シャフトに取り付けられたブレードであって、前記シャフトから半径方向外方に所定半径で取り付けられたブレードと、
    作動すると空力ブレーキを与えるブレーキシステムとからなり、
    前記風力タービンのシャフトが前記半径の3倍より小さく、かつ、前記半径の2倍より大きい距離だけお互いから離れ、
    前記風力タービン間の空力相互作用が効率を増大する風力タービン。
  2. 前記風力タービンの第1の風力タービンのシャフトは第1の所定方向に回転し、第2の風力タービンのシャフトは前記第1の風力タービンのシャフトと反対方向に回転する請求項1の風力タービン。
  3. 前記ブレーキシステムは気圧アクチュエータを含み、単一の空気圧縮機が前記風力タービンの両風力タービンの前記気圧アクチュエータに圧縮空気を供給する請求項に記載の風力タービン。
  4. 第3の風力タービンをさらに有し、
    前記第3の風力タービンは、
    タワーと、
    実質的に水平軸の回りに回転するシャフトと、
    前記シャフトとともに回転するように該シャフトに取り付けられたブレードであって、該ブレードの掃気経路は上端および下端の高さを有するロータを規定するブレードとからなり、
    前記水平軸風力タービンは、該水平軸風力タービンの下端の高さが前記垂直軸風力タービンの上端より高くなるように、前記垂直軸風力タービンの近傍に配置されている請求項1に記載の風力タービン。
  5. 前記風力タービンは卓越風方向を有する用地に設置され、前記風力タービンのシャフト間の線が前記卓越風方向に実質的に垂直であり、前記風力タービンは、該風力タービン間にほぼ妨害されない風の流れを与えるように適合された請求項1に記載の風力タービン。
  6. 1組の揚力型風力タービンにおいて、
    各風力タービンが、
    垂直軸の回りに回転するシャフトと、
    前記シャフトとともに回転するように該シャフトに取り付けられたブレードであって、前記シャフトから半径方向外方に所定半径で取り付けられたブレードと、
    作動すると空力ブレーキを与えるブレーキシステムとからなり、
    前記風力タービンのシャフトが前記半径の3倍より小さく、かつ、前記半径の2倍より大きい距離だけお互いから離れ、
    揚力型風力タービンは前記風力タービン間にほぼ妨害されない風の流れを与えるように適合された風力タービン。
  7. 前記風力タービンの第1の風力タービンのシャフトは第1の所定方向に回転し、第2の風力タービンのシャフトは前記第1の風力タービンのシャフトと反対方向に回転し、前記風力タービンは卓越風方向を有する用地に設置され、前記風力タービンのシャフト間の線が前記卓越風方向に実質的に垂直である請求項に記載の風力タービン。
  8. 第3の風力タービンをさらに有し、
    前記第3の風力タービンは、
    タワーと、
    実質的に水平軸の回りに回転するシャフトと、
    前記シャフトとともに回転するように該シャフトに取り付けられたブレードであって、該ブレードの掃気経路は上端および下端の高さを有するロータを規定するブレードとからなり、
    前記水平軸風力タービンは、該水平軸風力タービンの下端の高さが前記垂直軸風力タービンの上端より高くなるように、前記垂直軸風力タービンの近傍に配置されている請求項に記載の風力タービン。
  9. 前記ブレーキシステムはフェールセーフのブレーキシステムであり、前記ブレーキシステムは自己リセットする請求項に記載の風力タービン。
