Abstract
Description
第1及び第2伸縮牽引部材は、移動方向で平行な方向に延長することができ及び/又は第1及び第2伸縮牽引部材は、移動方向で垂直の方向に延長することができる。
典型的には、そのようなベルトは、装置で駆動される線状部材40のグリップを増すために、柔軟なゴム製の外層を有し、該ベルトは、耐延長性を備えるためにベルトの中心が、実質的に延長することができない強度の部材、例えば、織られたアラミド繊維又は編み組みされた鋼からなる。
該ベルトは、第1ベルトと第1及び第2プーリの間の摩擦を増すため、内表面にトレッド・パターンを有する。
2組の圧縮ローラは、線状部材上の第1及び第2ベルトのグリップを改善するために結合して作動し、線状部材が牽引装置により移動される効率を増す。
図2は、押出しチューブ、パイプ又はケーブルのような線状部材40を進めるために協同する上側部分120及び下側部分130からなる、本発明のキャタピラ牽引装置を示す。上側部分120は、第1ベルト121、第1及び第2プーリ122,123及び複数の圧縮ローラ124,125,126,127,128からなる。
第1ベルト121は、装置で駆動される線状部材40のグリップを高めるために、柔軟なゴムの外層を有し、第1ベルトと第1及び第2プーリの間の摩擦を増すため、内表面にトレッド・パターンを有する。
第1プーリ122及び第2プーリ123は駆動プーリであり、該プーリはモータ(図示せず)と駆動可能接続を有する。圧縮ローラ124から128は、自由に回転することができるが、線状部材40に対し第1ベルトを駆り立てるように作用する。
夫々第3プーリ132及び第4プーリ133は駆動プーリであり、該プーリはモータ(図示せず)と駆動可能接続を有する。圧縮ローラ134から138は、自由に回転することができるが、第1ベルトを線状部材40に対し押し付けるように作用する。
圧縮ローラ124から128及び圧縮ローラ134から138は、装置を通過する線状部材に対し実質的に正常な方向で共に作動する。
そして、このことは単に、第1および第2速度を変動させることにより、内側部分と外側部分の格差のある歪みを提供させることで達成される。
しかしながら、ベルトの張り具合は、駆動プーリから、多大なエネルギーを得て、所望する処理段階に達成する為、線状部材に対して、十分なエネルギーを伝達し得ない装置および特定の条件下で、駆動される線状部材を処理するのに、使用可能なエネルギーは少ないと考えられている。
通常、キャタピラ機構は最大駆動伝達量を供給し、かつ、ベルトのずれ(すべり量)を最小限とすべく設計されるが、マルチV型('multi-vee')駆動プーリやベルト形状などのような数種の機構は、有意なずれが生じても、重大な問題を起こすことなく、1セットのプーリを、逆方向に駆動させることができるよう、設計変更されうる。
さらに、圧縮は、ベルト内部で先に生じた伸縮に対し、作用させることにより発生するので、発生する圧縮の程度は、現時点におけるベルトの伸縮の程度によって、制限される。
ベルトは、ゴム製部材をその他の部材に置き換えることによっても、また、圧縮可能な発泡ポリマーのようなゴム製部材を更に付加することによっても作成することができる。このようにして、圧縮がベルト部分に生じる以前に延設される必要がない。
Claims (13)
- キャタピラ牽引装置であって、第1及び第2伸縮牽引部材を有し、
前記第1伸縮牽引部材は、第1及び第2回転部材により駆動されるとともに該第1及び第2回転部材の周囲を引っ張られ、前記第2伸縮牽引部材は、第3及び第4回転部材のより駆動されるとともに該第1及び第2回転部材の周囲を引っ張られ、
前記第1及び第3回転部材が第1速度で駆動し、第2及び第4回転部材が第2速度で駆動するように、各回転部材は駆動手段により取り付けられ、
前記第1速度は、第2速度と等速度でないことを特徴とするキャタピラ牽引装置。 - 第1速度及び第2速度の格差が、1%〜10%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 第1速度及び第2速度の格差が、4%であることを特徴とする請求項2記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 前記第2速度が、前記第1速度よりも遅いことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 前記第2速度が、前記第1速度よりも速いことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 前記第1及び第2伸縮牽引部材が、前記部材の運動方向と平行な方向へ延設されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5いずれかに記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 前記第1及び第2伸縮牽引部材が、前記部材の運動方向と直角な方向へ延設されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5いずれかに記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 前記第1及び第2伸縮牽引部材が、10%又はそれより大きい一様な延長を行うことができることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7いずれかに記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 伸縮牽引部材が、ゴム製であることを特徴とする請求項8記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 伸縮牽引部材が、圧縮ポリマーからなることを特徴とする請求項8又は請求項9記載のキャタピラ牽引装置。
- 請求項1乃至10いずれかに記載される機械的キャタピラ装置を内部に利用する線状部材を加工する方法であって、
線状部材の加工が、前記第1速度及び第2速度の格差により影響を与えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1速度及び第2速度の格差により、線状部材を直線的に圧縮させることを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記第1速度及び第2速度の格差により、線状部材を直線的に伸長させることを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。
