Claims (32)
- 気化させた流体を生じさせるために有用なエアロゾル発生器であって、
流体供給部;
液体供給部と流体的に連絡している少なくとも1つの流入口を有し、かつ少なくとも第1および第2の流路ならびに少なくとも1つの流出口を含む流れ通路;
第1および第2の加熱区域を含むヒーター装置であって、第1の加熱区域は、第1の流路における液体を、該液体を気化させるために十分に加熱し、その結果、少なくとも1つの流出口から噴出させられる気化された液体を形成させるようにするために適合しており、第2の加熱区域は、第2の流路における液体を、該液体を気化させるために十分に加熱し、その結果、少なくとも1つの流出口から噴出させられる気化された液体を形成させるようにするために適合しているヒーター装置;
を含むエアロゾル発生器。 - ヒーター装置は抵抗発熱材の少なくとも1つの層を含み、かつ/または、少なくとも第1および第2の流路は毛細管の大きさを有する、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 少なくとも1つの流出口は第1の流出口および第2の流出口を含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 液体が第1および第2の流路に供給されたとき、第1の加熱区域は、第2の加熱区域が第2の流路における液体を気化するよりも早く第1の流路における液体を気化させる、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- コントローラー、弁およびセンサーをさらに含み、センサーにより、所定量のエアロゾルの送達に対応する送達条件が検出され、コントローラーは、前記送達条件がセンサーによって検知されたとき、液体を第1および第2の流路に送達するように弁を開け、そして第1および第2の流路における液体を気化させるために加熱区域を作動させるようにプログラム化されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 第1および第2の加熱区域は、電気抵抗が同じであるか、または異なる、請求項2に記載のエアロゾル発生器。

- 第1の加熱区域は第2の加熱区域と熱的に一体化されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生器。

- 電気抵抗性発熱材の細片は互いに平行する、請求項21に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 第1および第2の加熱区域は、電気抵抗性発熱材の平面状細片を含む中間区域によって相互に接続される、請求項22に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 第1および第2の流路は第1および第2の溝をセラミック基体において形成する、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 第1および第2の流路は、深さが10mm以下である溝をセラミック基体において形成する、請求項24に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 第1および第2の加熱区域は抵抗発熱材を溝に含む、請求項24に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 少なくとも1つの電気フィードスルーがセラミック基体を通り抜け、電力を加熱区域に供給する、請求項26に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- 少なくとも1つのフィードスルーが、第1の加熱区域の下流側端部に接続された第1のフィードスルーと、第2の加熱区域の下流側端部に接続された第2のフィードスルーとを含む、請求項27に記載のエアロゾル発生器。
- エアロゾルを発生させるための方法であって、
(a)液体形態物を、第1および第2の流路を含む流れ通路を有するエアロゾル発生器の流入口に供給する工程;および
(b)第1および第2の流路における液体を、該液体を気化させ、かつ気化された液体を少なくとも1つの流出口から噴出させるために十分な温度に加熱する工程;
を含む方法。 - 加熱が、第1および第2の加熱区域に電圧を加えることによって行われ、第1の流路はサイズが第2の流路よりも小さく、第1の流路における液体が第1の加熱区域によって気化され、その後、第2の流路における液体が第2の加熱区域によって気化される、請求項29に記載の方法
- エアロゾル発生器が、コントローラー、弁およびセンターを含み、
送達条件をセンサーにより検知すること;
送達条件の検出に対応してシグナルをコントローラーに送ること;
コントローラーがシグナルを受け取ったとき、所定量の液体を第1および第2の流路に送達するために弁を開けること;
第1および第2の流路における液体を加熱する第1および第2の加熱区域に電力を供給すること;および
所定量の液体が第1および第2の流路に送達されたとき、弁を閉じること;
を含む、請求項30に記載の方法 - 第1の量の気化された液体が第1の流出口から噴出され、第2の量の気化された液体が第2の流出口から噴出され、この場合、第1の量が第2の量よりも小さい、請求項29に記載の方法。
