Abstract
【解決手段】円筒の軸を水平にした形状の炉体の上部に溶湯受入口を、下部にインダクション・ヒータを備えた混銑炉形式の溶湯保持炉に保持した溶湯に冷鉄源を投入し、該冷鉄源を溶湯に溶解する技術を改良した。冷鉄源を、前記溶湯受入口を介して投入してから、引き続き、炉内に保持されている溶湯の流動を促進する別の溶湯を追加装入する。

Claims (2)
- 円筒の軸を水平にした形状の炉体の上部に溶湯受入口を、下部にインダクション・ヒータを備えた溶湯保持炉に保持した溶湯に冷鉄源を投入し、該冷鉄源を溶湯に溶解するに際して、
前記冷鉄源を、前記溶湯受入口を介して投入してから、引き続き、炉内に保持されている溶湯の流動を促進する溶湯を追加装入することを特徴とする冷鉄源の溶解方法。 - 前記冷鉄源が、鉄スクラップ及び/又は型銑であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の冷鉄源の溶解方法。
