Description

The present invention relates to a method for greening a slope, and more particularly, to a method for greening a slope such as a paddy shore using a ground cover plant such as a perennial verbena. Here, the ground cover plant is a generic name of grass species used to cover the ground surface closely and prevent the generation of weeds.

Various methods have been developed so far for greening the slopes of paddy fields.
Among these methods, there is a method using a so-called herbicidal sheet.
Specifically, for example, a method is used in which a grass protection sheet made of a polyolefin resin high-density woven fabric or the like is applied to the slope, and incisions are made at intervals of 20 to 30 cm, and seedlings of ground cover plants are planted in the incisions (eg Non-Patent Document 1).
In general, the greening method using a herbicidal sheet has the advantage that the roots are stretched on the soil, so that the slope of the soil is prevented and the landscape is improved.
However, in this method, there are problems that weeds are generated from holes for seedlings and that planting of seedlings on slopes is a heavy labor. In addition, because of the slope, there was a problem that the soil would flow until the roots were fully stretched.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned conventional problems, provides a method for replanting a slope that is easy to plant seedlings, has little weeds, and does not have to worry about soil flowing. It is the purpose.

As a result of intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, the present inventor used a water-permeable and herbicidal sheet, laid a culture soil thereon, planted a ground cover plant, and grew. It has been found that the object can be achieved by peeling the seedlings of ground cover plants together with the sheet and sticking them to the slope, and the present invention has been completed based on this finding.

The present invention according to claim 4 provides the method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the ground cover plant is a perennial verbena or a common flower.

According to the method of the present invention according to claim 1, when planting a slope, planting of seedlings is easy, labor saving can be achieved, and weeds are hardly generated.
That is, according to the method of the present invention according to claim 1, since the planting operation of the seedling can be performed at a flat place different from the slope, the work is easy and the water is irrigated from the flat place. Even so, there is no worry of soil flowing. Then, after the seedlings are peeled off and the sheet is attached to the slope, the work is almost completed. Subsequent weeds are hardly generated, and management is not required.
In addition, according to the present invention according to claim 3, the seedling is prevented from drying by covering with a sheet having light permeability, water permeability, and air permeability during the period of raising the seedling (covering with a stick). The growth of the seedling is improved, and the generation of weeds in which the seeds are scattered by the wind can be prevented. And since it covers with the sheet | seat which has a light transmittance, water permeability, and air permeability, the growth of a seedling is not impaired.

The present invention is described in detail below.
The present invention according to claim 1 relates to a method for planting a slope, and when using a ground cover plant, the sheet has water permeability, breathability, and herbicidal properties and has a property of passing through the roots of plants. After cultivating soil on the top, planting and growing a ground cover plant, the seedling of the grown ground cover plant is peeled off together with the sheet and pasted on a slope.

The present invention according to claim 1 relates to a method for greening a slope such as a paddy shore, and the slope is greened using a ground cover plant.
There are various types of ground cover plants, including perennial verbena, pine swordfish, pine bug, Mexican mannengusa, tsurumanengusa, creeping time and daikandra used in the following test examples. Specifically, as described in claim 4, perennial verbena or red-crowned beetle is particularly suitable. In addition, various types of grasses can be mixed.

In the present invention according to claim 1, a sheet having water permeability, air permeability, and herbicidal properties and having the property of passing through the roots of plants is used, and the culture soil is laid thereon.
The sheet used in the present invention according to claim 1 has water permeability, air permeability, and herbicidal properties, and has a property of passing through the roots of plants. It has the property to prevent (herbicidal). Therefore, in combination with water permeability and air permeability, plants can be grown well while preventing emergence of weeds and the like.

As the sheet having water permeability, air permeability, and herbicidal properties used in the present invention according to claim 1 and having the property of passing through plant roots, as described in claim 2, polypropylene fibers are thermocompression-bonded. What consists of the nonwoven fabric made from a polypropylene which becomes is preferable. Specifically, Zaburn (registered trademark) herbicidal sheet manufactured by DuPont, USA. This is a polypropylene four-layer spunbond nonwoven fabric in which continuous fibers of polypropylene are stacked vertically and horizontally and the fibers are thermocompression bonded. This material is durable because it has thick fibers and is strong among non-woven fabrics, and has good water permeability and air permeability. Furthermore, generally used herbicidal sheets prevent the generation of weeds, but often do not pass through the roots of plants. However, this has the property of passing through the roots of the plants on the sheet. For this reason, since a root is extended to the soil under a sheet, growth of a plant is also good.

Even if it is made of polypropylene, in the case of woven fabrics, generally flat yarns are woven in a certain direction, and the fibers are not fused together, so they are vulnerable to pulling from an oblique direction, and are permeable and breathable. The property is low, and weeds penetrate between the fibers, which is not preferable.

Since the sheet used in the present invention according to claim 1 is peeled off together with the seedlings of the ground cover plant later, it is necessary to have strength and thickness that do not break when peeling off. For example, Zavern (registered trademark) 68B weedproof sheet (thickness 0.271 mm) and 136G weedproof sheet (thickness 0.4 mm) manufactured by DuPont, USA are used as they are because thick fibers are pressure-bonded. be able to. However, too thick ones are not preferable because the roots are difficult to penetrate and become too heavy.
In addition, the size of the sheet is not particularly limited. However, in consideration of later workability, a sheet having a size of about 0.5 to 2 m × 4 to 6 m is usually used. For example, a sheet having a width of 1 m is used. In this case, a length of 2 to 4 m is appropriate.

In the present invention according to claim 1, a sheet having water permeability, air permeability, and herbicidal properties as described above and having the property of passing through the roots of a plant is used, and culture soil is laid thereon.
There is no restriction | limiting in particular as culture soil, The generally used thing can be used. Specifically, for example, commercially available culture soil for raising seedlings, mountain soil, paddy soil, and the like, and a mixture of these in an appropriate ratio can be used. However, in the case of mountain soils or paddy soils other than commercially available culture soil for raising seedlings, it is desirable to perform high temperature treatment to prevent weed germination from the weed seeds contained therein.
Since the sheet used in the present invention according to claim 1 is peeled off together with the seedling of the ground cover plant after raising the seedling, it can be placed on a flat place until the seedling of the ground cover plant is planted and then peeled off. From the viewpoint of work, a flat place is preferable.
Therefore, the sheet is placed on a flat place in advance, and culture soil is laid thereon, and ground cover plants are planted and grown.
In addition, when peeling and sticking after raising seedling, workability is poor if it is heavy. Therefore, it is preferable to lay the culture soil as thin as about 1 cm in thickness. It should be noted that the commercially available seedling culture soil is lighter than the mountain soil and paddy soil even when laid at the same thickness, and the growth of the ground cover plant is good.

Ground cover plants are planted and nurtured by cutting, sowing, etc.
In addition, as described in claim 3, it is a material having a function of preventing evapotranspiration by covering it with a sheet having light permeability, water permeability, and air permeability during the period of raising the seedling (covering with a stick). Therefore, drying of the seedling is prevented and the growth of the seedling is improved, and generation of weeds in which the seed is scattered by the wind can be prevented. Moreover, seedling growth is not impaired. Specifically, a sheet made of a nonwoven fabric or a woven fabric having light permeability, water permeability and air permeability is used. In particular, as a sheet having light permeability, water permeability, and air permeability, when a non-woven fabric that is biodegraded during a seedling raising period or a cold koji is used, it is preferable because it is possible to reduce the necessity of peeling off later.

When the seedlings are grown and sufficiently grown in this way, usually when they are grown on the entire surface, the seedlings of the grown ground cover plants are peeled off together with the sheet and attached to the target slope.
In removing the sheet, considering workability, the sheet may be peeled after being cut into an appropriate size depending on the size of the sheet.
In addition, as for the slope which sticks the seedling of the grown ground cover plant with the said sheet | seat, it is good to wither the existing grass beforehand with a herbicide etc., and to make the surface level and flattened.

When sticking, the sheet is cut into 2 m length and 1 m width to improve workability, and it may be fixed with bamboo skewers or the like.
After pasting, it is preferable to water for about 2 to 3 weeks until fixing.
In this way, the slope can be greened using the ground cover plant according to the method of the present invention.

EXAMPLES Hereinafter, although an Example demonstrates this invention in detail, this invention is not restrict | limited to these.

Test Example 1 (Slope greening test using the method of the present invention; on-site aptitude investigation)
1) Test method and test place: Raised seedling = Field of Kinki Chugoku Shikoku Agricultural Research Center
Place of sticking after raising seedlings = Farmer's paddy shore and grass species: 4 ground cover plants (Sukune Verbena, Himewadareso, Matsubagiku, Mexican Mannengusa)
・ Test treatment: 2 levels of ground cover plant cuttings (large amount: 10 species / m 2 for each grass species, small amount: 5 species / m 2 for each grass species) and 2 types of cultured soil (mountain soil, paddy field) 4 treatment combined with soil), the size of 1 ward is 1m x 4m. Performed in triplicate. In addition, the subsequent seedling raising was performed in a state where the four treatment sections were connected in a row.
・ Cultivation outline: On April 9, 2003, a permeable and herbicidal sheet [made by DuPont, Zavern (registered trademark) 68B herbicidal sheet (thickness 0.271 mm) was laid and the culture soil was thick. About 1 cm was laid, and ground cover planted buds (5 to 10 cm in length) were evenly inserted into the soil.
Then, it was covered with a coating material for betting (polypropylene nonwoven fabric having light permeability; manufactured by Mitsui Chemicals Platec, Pao Pao 90). Watering and raising seedlings, cut the sheets into 4m sections (width 1m) on June 18, the same year, peel them off, carry them by truck, and farmer paddy paddy (spread with herbicides in advance, wither weeds) Pasted with bamboo skewers.

2) Test results Check the number of ground cover plants established during raising seedlings and the degree of coverage (the ratio of the grass species when a certain area is viewed from above) during raising seedlings and pasting on the shore of paddy fields. The results are shown in the figure.
FIG. 1 is a graph showing the number of ground cover plants fixed in Test Example 1.
Moreover, FIG. 2 is a graph which shows the transition of the coverage of the ground cover plant in the first test example.

As can be seen from Fig. 1, the number of colonies tended to be higher in pine seedlings and paddy soils in both the mountain soil and paddy soil than in the pineapple and perennial verbena, but otherwise clear. There was no trend.
As is clear from FIG. 2, the coverage was low in Mexican prunus and pine bee was high immediately after pasting, but decreased thereafter. On September 24 of the same year, the ground cover plants spread almost throughout the treatment areas, and have been maintained until now. The occurrence of weeds was slightly observed and was removed about twice.

From this test, it became clear that the construction method of the present invention is effective even on the actual paddy field of a farmer. Although a nursery place is necessary, management is unnecessary after pasting, which helps to save labor in weed management, and there are some flowering grass species, which may be useful for improving the landscape.
As for the ground cover plant species, Himeiwadareso and Perennial Verbena were considered suitable for this method, but the seedlings were bulky and unsuitable for transportation after raising seedlings, and they died due to disease and moisture damage. It is considered unsuitable for this reason, and Mexican rootworms are not suitable because the roots are poorly stretched and the roots do not extend under the sheet.
For both types of culture soil, the growth of seedlings was not so good and heavy, so it was difficult to transport and paste them after raising seedlings. Therefore, it was considered necessary to use a measuring soil as the culture soil. In addition, it was considered better to use culture soil with high water retention to save labor during irrigation work during raising seedlings.
In this test, the seedlings were peeled off before covering the entire sheet and stretched on the farmer's paddy shore, but the culture soil where the seedlings did not grow dropped during transportation, so the seedlings covered the entire surface. It was considered better to peel and transport.

Test example 2 (examination of culture soil)
1) Test method and test place: Raised seedling = Field of Kinki Chugoku Shikoku Agricultural Research Center
Place of sticking after raising seedlings = Fields and grass species of Kinki Chugoku Shikoku Agricultural Research Center: 4 ground cover plant species (Sukune Verbena, Himewadareso, Vulva, creeping time)
Test treatment: 5 types of culture soil spread on sheets-Commercial seedling culture soil (made by Takii seedlings), vermiculite (artificial horticultural soil), commercially available seedling culture soil mixed with 0.2% water retaining resin (trade name: Thermogel) , Vermiculite mixed with 0.2% water retention resin, peat humus (trade name: roof soil), the size of 1 section is 1m x 0.5m. Performed in duplicate.
・ Cultivation outline: On August 6, 2003, a permeable and herbicidal sheet [made by DuPont, Zavern (registered trademark) 68B herbicidal sheet (thickness 0.271 mm) was laid and the culture soil was thick. laying approximately 1 cm, it was equally inserted in the soil a ground cover Plants of cuttings (length 5 to 10 cm) at a rate of each grass species ten / m 2.
Then, it was covered with a coating material for betting (polypropylene nonwoven fabric having light permeability; manufactured by Mitsui Chemicals Platec, Pao Pao 90). The seedlings were irrigated and the fertilizer was applied to vermiculite. After peeling the sheet on September 16, the same year, the sheet was attached to another place (weeded) in the field with bamboo skewers.

2) Test results Table 1 shows the results of examining the number of ground cover plants fixed during seedling and the sheet weight after seedling.
Moreover, the coverage after pasting to another place in the field was examined, and the result is shown in the figure. FIG. 3 is a graph showing changes in the coverage of ground cover plants in Test Example 2.

Figure 2005328796
Figure 2005328796

As is clear from Table 1, the number of colonies was slightly shorter in creeping time, but the other grass species were good in any culture soil.
In addition, as is apparent from FIG. 3, the coverage was high in Himewa Dareso and Perennial Verbena, and the creeping time was low. In the culture soil, the commercial seedling culture soil was high and vermiculite was low. The effect of mixing the water retaining resin was not clear. As shown in Table 1, the weight of the sheet including the seedling after the seedling was 4.8 to 7.1 kg / m 2 , which was light in all the treatment sections, and there was no problem in workability.
In Test Example 2, the growth of ground cover plants was better than that of Test Example 1, and in particular, the commercially grown seedling culture soil showed very good growth. Moreover, since the sheet weight was light and water retention was not a problem, it was considered to be a culture soil suitable for this construction method. As in the case of Test Example 1, the plant species was brilliantly grown and the perennial verbena grew vigorously, and the vine mangus was relatively well grown and seemed to be suitable for this method, but the creeping time was slow to grow. There seemed to be.

Test example 3 (examination of necessity of coating material for bedding)
1) Test method and test place: Raised seedling = Field of Kinki Chugoku Shikoku Agricultural Research Center
Place of sticking after raising seedlings = Road slope / grass species of Kinki Chugoku Shikoku Agricultural Research Center: 4 species of ground cover plants (Himeiwadareso, Perennial Verbena, Culmannegusa, Daikandra)
・ Test treatment: Presence and absence of covering material and mixed grass species combination 2 treatment [(A) 3 grass species mixed planting-Himeiwadaresou, perennial verbena, tsurumanengusa, (ii) 4 grass species mixed planting-hyamewadareso, perennial verbena, tsurumanengususa , Daikandora] combined 4 treatment sections, the size of 1 section is 1m x 6m. Performed in triplicate.
・ Cultivation outline: On September 19, 2003, a permeable and herbicidal sheet [DuPont's Zaburn (registered trademark) 68B herbicidal sheet (thickness 0.271 mm) was laid and the commercial seedling culture soil was thick. About 1 cm in length, ground cover planted buds (5-10 cm in length) were evenly inserted into the soil at a rate of 10 seeds / m 2 for each grass species, and Daikandra was seeded with 1.5 g / m 2 . .
Thereafter, the solid coating area was covered with a solid coating material (polypropylene nonwoven fabric having optical transparency; Mitsui Chemicals Platec, Pao Pao 90). The seedlings were irrigated and nurtured, and the covering material for betting was removed on October 20 of the same year.

2) Test results The effects of the solid covering on the generation of weeds were examined. Table 2 shows the results of examining the number of weeds in the 3 grass species mixed planting and the 4 grass species mixed planting in the bedding-covered and untreated zones.
Next, Table 3 shows the results of examining the number of ground cover plants settled in the three-grass mixed planting and the four-grass mixed planting in the covered and untreated plots. However, Daikandora is excluded.
Table 4 shows the results of examining the coverage of the ground cover plant in the three grass species mixed planting in the bedding-covered and untreated areas.
Further, Table 5 shows the results of examining the coverage of the ground cover plant in the four grass species mixed planting in the bedding-covered and untreated areas.

Figure 2005328796
Figure 2005328796

Figure 2005328796
Figure 2005328796

As is clear from Table 2, the number of weeds was very small in the beggarage-covered area, but in the non-treated area, 6.3 trees / m 2 in the case of 3 grass species mixed planting, and 10.3 in the case of 4 grass species mixed planting. Book / m 2 was observed.
Next, as is clear from Table 3, the number of ground cover plants settled in the three-grass mixed planting and the four-grass mixed planting was greater in the bedding-covered plot than in the untreated plot. In particular, the effect was clearly recognized in the Japanese cypress and perennial verbena.
Furthermore, as is clear from Tables 4 and 5, the total coverage of the ground cover plant was significantly higher in the beaked cover area than in the untreated area. The total coverage was higher in the case of the 4 grass species mixed planting than in the case of the 3 grass species mixed planting.
In Test Example 3, the effect of the cover coating during the seedling raising period was clearly shown. The solid cover coating improved the growth of the ground cover plant and also prevented the germination of weed seeds scattered by the wind. The cost of the solid coating material is high, but the solid coating material can be reused, and if you think it can be used 3 to 4 times, the cost per operation can be reduced. it was thought.
As for Daikandora, it was found that most other ground cover plants can be sown rather than vegetatively cultivated, so that they can be planted more efficiently than cuttings.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, planting of seedlings is easy, and there is almost no generation of weeds, and the slope can be greened labor-saving.
Therefore, the present invention is useful as a method for greening slopes such as paddy fields.
