Abstract
【解決手段】負極、セパレータ及び正極を含む電極組立体と、前記電極組立体及び電解液を受容れる缶と、前記缶の開口部を封止するキャップ組立体とを含んでなる電池本体100の外側に安全装置21,23が電気的に結合してなる二次電池の中で、安全装置21,23は電池部品部20に含まれて電池本体100と結合し、電池部品部20と電池本体100との間の結合面には電池部品部20と電池本体100とを機械的に結合させる結合手段25,27,50が各々形成される。

Description
図3を参照すれば、二次電池は、電池部品部20と電池本体100とを備えてなる。単位セル100の内部構造は、従来の技術と変わらないため説明は省略する。電池部品部20は、安全装置であるところの保護回路基板21及びバイメタル23を含み、単位セル100と結合される。電池部品部20と単位セル100とが互いに結合する結合面には、電池部品部20と単位セル100とを機械的に結合させる結合手段である雄型機械的結合部25,27及び雌型機械的結合部50が各々形成される。
第1の実施の形態では、機械的結合部が電気的結合部としての役割を兼ねる場合について述べた。本実施の形態では、機械的結合部とは別に電気的結合部が形成される場合について述べる。

Claims (8)
- 負極、セパレータ、及び正極を含む電極組立体と、前記電極組立体及び電解液を受容れる缶と、前記缶の開口部を封止するキャップ組立体と、を含んでなる電池本体の外側に安全装置が電気的に結合されてなる二次電池において、
前記安全装置は、電池部品部に含まれて前記電池本体と結合され、
前記電池部品部と前記電池本体とが互いに結合する結合面には、前記電池部品部と前記電池本体とを機械的に結合させる結合手段が各々形成されることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記電池部品部の前記結合面は、前記結合手段と別に前記安全装置の電気端子を有し、
前記電池本体の前記結合面は、前記結合手段と別に前記電池本体の正極端子及び負極端子を有し、
前記正極端子及び前記負極端子と、前記電気端子とは、溶接により互いに電気的に結合されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記電気端子には少なくとも一つの折曲部が形成されて、前記結合手段を締結するために、前記電池部品部が前記電池本体に接近する場合、前記折曲部が折曲されて前記電気端子が折り重なることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池部品部の前記電気端子の周りには溝が形成されて、前記結合手段を締結するために、前記電池部品部が前記電池本体に接近する場合、折り重なる前記電気端子の一部を受容れることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池部品部の前記結合手段の少なくとも一部は、前記安全装置の電気端子と接続されて、前記安全装置の電気端子を兼ねることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池部品部の前記結合手段と前記電池本体の前記結合手段とは、一定以上の力を加えると分離できるよう脱着可能に締結されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記結合手段は、前記電池本体の特性によって形成位置、大きさ、及び個数のうちの少なくとも一つが異なる方法により、認識構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記認識構造は、前記電気部品部と前記電池本体との前記結合面に、互いに対応する凹凸部を生成することによりなることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の二次電池。
