Abstract
本発明は、こうしたおそれのない、即ち、転炉に装入されるカワや白カワのCu品位に影響されない固ヒの処理方法の提供を課題とする。
【解決手段】 本発明では、従来造カン期のみにて処理していた固ヒを造カン期と造銅期、あるいは造銅期のみにて処理することを特徴とするものである。

造銅期
Cu2S + O2 → 2Cu + SO2
Cu2S + 3/2O2 → Cu2O + SO2
2Cu2O + Cu2S → 6Cu + SO2
固ヒは、転炉内にカワや白カワと共に挿入され、造カン期からの吹錬を受ける。造カン期、造銅期の反応は、いずれも発熱反応であり、放置しておけば熔体温度が高くなりすぎて炉内煉瓦の損傷を招くことになる。このため、銅スクラップや故銅、銅滓、煙灰といった含銅化合物を冷剤として添加し、これらの溶解等に過剰の反応熱を吸収し、熔体温度を一定範囲に維持するようにする。固ヒは、溶解熱を必要とするため、ある種冷剤としての機能を果たすことになる。
、許容される量の固ヒとは、ヒートバランスとマスバランス等より求められる固ヒの可能処理量である。
。この操業を10回繰り返したが、いずれの造銅期も問題無く吹錬を終了でき、所定量の粗銅を得ることが出来た。

Claims (3)
- レードルに付着生成した固ヒを転炉にて処理する固ヒの処理方法において、固ヒを造銅期に処理することを特徴とする固ヒの処理方法。
- レードルに付着生成した固ヒを転炉にて処理する固ヒの処理方法において、固ヒを造カン期と造銅期との双方で処理することを特徴とする固ヒの処理方法。
- 転炉に装入するカワの品位と量と、固ヒに基づいて計算される造カン期のヒートバランスとマスバランスより求められた量の処理可能固ヒ量以下の固ヒを造カン期に処理し、それ以外の所望量の固ヒを造銅期で処理することを特徴とする固ヒの処理方法。
