Abstract
【解決手段】 移動通信端末機は、外部から無線周波数識別信号を受信する無線周波数識別受信部と、受信した無線周波数識別信号から無線周波数識別データのみを抽出し、無線周波数識別データのフォーマットを変換する演算装置と、変換されたフォーマットの無線周波数識別データを貯蔵するメモリ部と、無線周波数識別データを無線周波数識別リーダに送信する無線周波数識別送信部とを含む。無線周波数識別プログラミング方法は、外部から無線周波数識別信号を受信する段階と、受信した無線周波数識別信号から無線周波数識別データのみを抽出する段階と、無線周波数識別データのフォーマットをシリアルプロトコルに合わせて変更する段階と、シリアルプロトコルに合わせて変換された無線周波数識別データをメモリ部に貯蔵させる段階とからなる。

Description
図示したように、RFIDプログラマ(Programmer)230はRFIDタグ(あるいは、RFIDトランスポンダ)200にプログラミングのためのプロトコルを指定された電波形態に合わせて伝送し、RFIDタグ200はこれを受信して前記プログラミングプロトコルに応じて貯蔵しているRFIDデータを変更する。
かつ、本発明の他の目的は、RFIDタグのデータを変更するために専用プログラマを導入する代わりに、安定化された移動通信端末機の回路を活用してプログラミング環境の安定化を図る方法を提供することにある。
なお、本発明のさらに他の目的は、RFIDタグが一体型で結合され、前記RFIDタグを容易にプログラミングできる移動通信端末機を提供することにある。
移動通信端末機102はホストコンピュータ104から新規貯蔵または更新のために伝達されるRFID関連情報を伝送されてメモリ部(図示せず)に貯蔵することにより無線周波数識別機能を有することができる。ホストコンピュータ104は基地局またはRFIDデータ管理センター(または、RFIDデータサーバ)106からRFID関連情報を提供してもらう。
移動通信端末機の主演算装置であるMPU170はRFIDタグの構成要素、例えば、RFIDコーデック部126、RFID変調部128などを含む。メモリ部118はRFIDデータ78を貯蔵する。前記メモリ部118はイーイーピーロム(Electronically Erasable and Programmable Read-Only Memory:EEPROM)を含んで具現することができる。通常的に、EEPROMは図示されない無線部、ディスプレー部、音声ボリュームなどの初期設定値とパスワード、住所録データなどの使用者定義値、あるいは、WAP(Wireless Application Protocol)データを貯蔵している。ところが、他のメモリ、例えばフラッシュロムの容量が増大されるにつれて低速のEEPROMのデータを高速のフラッシュロムに移して貯蔵している。故に、EEPROMは余分のデータを貯蔵できる十分な空間をもっていることが一般的である。よって、この遊休貯蔵空間にRFIDデータを貯蔵することは有益である。第1のクロック発生部116はシステムクロックSCLKを発生してMPUコア132とメモリ部118などに供給する。第2のクロック発生部134は前記システムクロックSCLKを周辺の構成要素に合わせて多様なクロックに分周して供給する。
入力部113は使用者インタフェース手段であって、例えば一般キーパッドやオンスクリーンキーパッドなどがある。本発明の一実施形態として、使用者はキーパッドを用いてRFIDデータを直接入力することもできる。
移動通信端末機にホストコンピュータなどからRFIDプログラミングのために伝達されるRFIDデータには多様な形態があり得る。RFID技術では多様な応用サービスに対する標準が混在している。動物標識のためのISO11784/11785/14223、改善されたトランスポンダ(Advanced Transponder)の標準であるISO14223、密着型スマートカード(Closed coupling smart card)の標準であるISO10536、近接式スマートカード(Proximity coupling smart card)の標準であるISO14443、近傍式スマートカード(Vicinity coupling smart card)の標準であるISO15693などがある。
図示したようなRFID信号にはRFIDデータの他にもRFIDデータを伝送するために命令414、フラッグ402、CRC410などの付加的な情報が追加されている。
図5は本発明の実施形態による移動通信端末機において、プログラミングプロトコルを用いてRFID信号のフォーマットを変換した状態を示したものである。本実施形態によると、プログラミングプロトコルの一例であるI2Cプログラミングプロトコルを用いて、RFIDデータを多数のブロックに分けてMPUコア132からメモリ部118に伝達する。
32ビットを区分せずに一度に送信する図4の場合とは異なり、図5においては、RFID情報は8ビットずつ4個のブロック510、512、514、516に分けられて伝送される。

Claims (9)
- 外部から第1のフォーマットの無線周波数識別データを受信する無線周波数識別受信部と、
前記第1のフォーマットの無線周波数識別データを第2のフォーマットに変換する演算装置と、
前記第2のフォーマットの無線周波数識別データを貯蔵するメモリ部と、
前記メモリ部に貯蔵された無線周波数識別データをエンコーディングするコーデック部と、
前記コーデック部の出力データを無線周波数識別方式に変調する変調部と、
前記変調部の出力データを無線周波数識別リーダに送信する無線周波数識別送信部とを含むことを特徴とする無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機。 - 前記第1のフォーマットは、無線周波数識別データを一つのデータ領域にまとめて伝送するためのものであり、前記第2のフォーマットは、前記無線周波数識別データを所定個数のサーブ領域に分けて伝送するためのシリアルプロトコルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機。
- 前記メモリ部は、イーイーピーロム(EEPROM)から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機。
- 前記外部から受信される無線周波数識別データは、ホストコンピュータから受信され、前記無線周波数識別受信部は、前記ホストコンピュータとの通信のためのシステム連結部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機。
- 前記無線周波数識別受信部は、基地局から無線周波数識別データを受信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機。
- 前記無線周波数識別受信部は、使用者からのデータ入力を受信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機。
- 前記移動通信端末機が外部から無線周波数識別信号を受信する段階と、
前記受信した無線周波数識別信号から無線周波数識別データのみを抽出する段階と、
前記無線周波数識別データのフォーマットをシリアルプロトコルフォーマットに変換する段階と、
前記変換された無線周波数識別データをメモリ部に貯蔵する段階とを含むことを特徴とする無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機における無線周波数識別プログラミング方法。 - 外部から無線周波数識別信号を受信する無線周波数識別受信部と、
前記受信した無線周波数識別信号から無線周波数識別データのみを抽出し、前記無線周波数識別データのフォーマットを変換する演算装置と、
前記変換されたフォーマットの無線周波数識別データを貯蔵するメモリ部と、
前記無線周波数識別データを無線周波数識別リーダに送信する無線周波数識別送信部とを含むことを特徴とする無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機。 - 前記変換されたフォーマットは、前記無線周波数識別データを所定個数のサーブ領域に分けて伝送するためのシリアルプロトコルフォーマットであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の無線周波数識別機能をもつ移動通信端末機。
