Abstract
【解決手段】 吸気ポート14用の仕切り板100(鋳包み対象板部材に相当する)は、シリンダヘッドの吸気ポートを形成する吸気ポート成形用砂中子(ポート中子)に予め設置され、シリンダヘッドの鋳造成形時に鋳包まれて、吸気ポートを複数のポートに仕切る。この仕切り板は、長手方向両端部のうち、ポート中子の中子折れを誘発させたい側となる吸気側端部Tbに、鋭角端面150が形成されている。

Claims (6)
- 砂中子に予め設置され、鋳物品の鋳造成形時に鋳包まれる鋳包み対象板部材において、
長手方向両端部のうち、前記砂中子の中子折れを誘発させたい側の端部に、鋭角端面が形成されていることを特徴とする鋳包み対象板部材。 - シリンダヘッドの吸気ポートを形成する吸気ポート成形用砂中子に予め設置され、シリンダヘッドの鋳造成形時に鋳包まれて、シリンダヘッドの吸気ポートを複数のポートに仕切る吸気ポート用の仕切り板において、
長手方向両端部のうち、前記吸気ポート成形用砂中子の中子折れを誘発させたい側となる吸気側端部に、鋭角端面が形成されていることを特徴とする吸気ポート用の仕切り板。 - 前記鋭角端面は、前記吸気側端部における厚み方向の両端面のうち、機械加工工具が侵入する側の反対側に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の吸気ポート用の仕切り板。
- シリンダヘッドを鋳造成形する鋳造型内に設置して、シリンダヘッドの吸気ポートを形成する吸気ポート成形用砂中子において、
請求項2または請求項3に記載の吸気ポート用の仕切り板が、その両側縁部を溶湯に鋳包まれるように外部に突出し、かつ、前記鋭角端面を中子砂内に位置させて、予め設置されていることを特徴とする吸気ポート成形用砂中子。 - 前記仕切り板における吸気側端部の側に、中子砂を盗むことにより成形される砂盗み空間部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の吸気ポート成形用砂中子。
- 請求項2または請求項3に記載の吸気ポート用の仕切り板が、その両側縁部が溶湯に鋳包まれて吸気ポートに設置されてなり、
前記仕切り板の前記鋭角端面により、吸気ポート成形用砂中子の割れに起因するバリの発生箇所を限定的なものとしたことを特徴とするシリンダヘッド。
