〔R1〜R4は1価の炭化水素基又はハロゲン化炭化水素基、Yはラジカル反応性基又はSH基含有有機基、Zは第一級アミノ基含有有機基、Xは水素原子、1価低級アルキル基又はR1R2R5Si基(R5はR1,Y又はZ)、mは1〜10,000の整数、k,nは1以上の整数〕
のオルガノポリシロキサンの水中油型エマルジョンに、
(2)式(II)

(R6は水素原子又はメチル基、R7はアルキル基又はアルコキシ置換アルキル基)
の(メタ)アクリル系単量体の1種又は2種以上を(2)の70%以上含む(混合)単量体を添加して、前記オルガノポリシロキサンに(2)成分を乳化グラフト共重合させてなるグラフト共重合エマルジョンを主剤とする建材用エマルジョン組成物。
【解決手段】 本発明の組成物は、密着性に富み、弾性,柔軟性,耐候性,耐水性,撥水性,耐熱性に優れた被膜を形成し、長期間その性能を保持できる。

Description
(1)下記一般式(I)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンの1種又は2種以上:5〜95質量部
の水中油型エマルジョンに、
(2)下記一般式(II)
で表されるアクリル系単量体及びメタクリル系単量体から選択される1種又は2種以上の単量体を(2)成分全量の70質量%以上含む単量体又は混合単量体:95〜5質量部
を添加して前記オルガノポリシロキサンに(2)成分を乳化グラフト共重合させてなるグラフト共重合エマルジョンを主剤とする建材用エマルジョン組成物を提供する。
(オルガノポリシロキサンエマルジョンの調製)
オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン1,500部、メタクリロキシプロピルメチルシロキサン3.8部、γ−アミノプロピルメチルシロキサン50部及びイオン交換水1,500部を混合し、これにラウリル硫酸ナトリウム18部、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸12部を添加してからホモミキサーで攪拌して乳化したのち、圧力3,000barのホモジナイザーに2回通して安定なエマルジョンを作った。次いで、これをフラスコに仕込み、70℃で12時間加熱し、15℃まで冷却して72時間熟成した後、炭酸ナトリウムを用いてこのエマルジョンのpHを7に調整し、4時間窒素ガスを吹き込んでから水蒸気蒸留して揮発性のシロキサンを留去し、つぎにイオン交換水を加えて不揮発分を45%に調整し、ポリシロキサンエマルジョンを得た(以下これをE−1と略記する)。
また、表1に示すようにシロキサンの種類、量及び熟成条件を変えた他はE−1と同様の方法でポリシロキサンエマルジョンE−2〜E−7を得た。
攪拌機、コンデンサー、温度計及び窒素ガス導入口を備えた2Lの三ッ口フラスコに、上記で得たエマルジョンE−1を333部(シロキサン分150部)とイオン交換水517部を仕込み、窒素ガス気流下に器内を30℃に調整した後、t−ブチルヒドロパーオキサイド1.0部、L−アスコルビン酸0.5部、硫酸第一鉄7水和物0.002部を加え、次いで器内温を30℃に保ちながら、ブチルアクリレート328.6部、アクリル酸10.5部、メタクリル酸5.3部の混合物、及びN−メチロールアクリルアミドの10%水溶液56部を3時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、更に1時間攪拌を続けて反応を完結させた。得られた共重合エマルジョン(以下これをP−1と略記)は固形分濃度39.2%、アクリル系単量体等のポリマー化物のガラス転移点計算値は−46℃であった(測定方法は、1956年発行のBull.Am.Phys.Soc.第1巻123頁に準拠)。上記と同様にして、表2に示されるポリシロキサンエマルジョン及びアクリル系単量体等の種類、量で共重合し、エマルジョンP−2〜P−14を得た。
共重合エマルジョンP−1〜P−14について、表3に示す如き処理液を調製し、表面が清浄な磨き鋼板に、硬化後の膜厚が500μmになるように塗工した。塗工後の加熱キュア条件は150℃/5分にて実施した。
得られた塗工板を用いて、塗膜の弾性、柔軟性、光沢の持続性、耐水性、水の接触角、密着性、耐熱性、及び接着性を下記に示す評価試験方法により評価した。結果を表3に併記する。
(弾性)
手触により下記基準で評価した。
○:反発性,ねじり復元性良好。
×:反発性,ねじり復元性不良。
手触により下記基準で評価した。
○:折り曲げ復元性良好。
×:折り曲げ復元性不良。
目視により下記基準で評価した。
○:1年間の屋外暴露後の試験片の光沢が未暴露と同様。
△:1年間の屋外暴露後の試験片の光沢が未暴露の試験片に比べて劣っている。
×:1年間の屋外暴露後の試験片に光沢が無い。
20℃の蒸留水に72時間浸漬した後の塗膜の状態を目視により下記基準で判定した。
○:塗膜の状態に変化なし。
△:塗膜の一部にフクレ,白化現象あり。
×:塗膜の全面にフクレ,白化現象あり。
協和界面科学社製接触角計CA−D型を用いて、塗膜上にイオン交換水を滴下し、滴下後30秒の接触角を測定した。
JIS K−5400の碁盤目試験により測定し、下記に示す観察で評価点を付けた。
100点:切り傷の1本ごとが細くて、切り傷の交点と正方形の1目1目が剥がれない。
80点:切り傷の交点にわずかな剥がれがあり、欠損部の面積は全正方形面積の10%
未満。
60点:切り傷の両側と交点に剥がれがあり、欠損部の面積は全正方形面積の20%未
満。
40点:切り傷による剥がれの幅が広く、欠損部の面積は全正方形面積の40%未満。
20点:切り傷による剥がれの幅が広く、欠損部の面積は全正方形面積の60%未満。
0点:剥がれの面積は、全正方形面積の60%以上。
乾燥機中で100℃×48時間熱処理して塗膜の変色を目視により観察し、下記基準で評価した。
○:熱変色なし。
△:熱変色若干あり。
×:熱変色が著しい。
共重合エマルジョンについて、表3に示す如き処理液を調製し、木質ボード片に200g/m2の量で塗工した。塗工後の加熱キュア条件は150℃/5分にて実施した。その後、木質ボード片にポリオレフィンフォーム表皮材を0.2MPaの圧力で30秒間圧着させて試験片とし、20℃×60%RHの雰囲気下で240時間養生後、剥離強度(単位:kgf/25mm)の測定を実施した。
Claims (4)
- (1)下記一般式(I)
で表されるオルガノポリシロキサンの1種又は2種以上:5〜95質量部
の水中油型エマルジョンに、
(2)下記一般式(II)
で表されるアクリル系単量体及びメタクリル系単量体から選択される1種又は2種以上の単量体を(2)成分全量の70質量%以上含む単量体又は混合単量体:95〜5質量部
を添加して、前記オルガノポリシロキサンに(2)成分を乳化グラフト共重合させてなるグラフト共重合エマルジョンを主剤とする建材用エマルジョン組成物。 - (2)成分が、
(イ)下記一般式(II)
で表されるアクリル系単量体及びメタクリル系単量体から選択される1種又は2種以上の単量体 70〜98質量%
(ロ)エチレン性不飽和アミド、エチレン性不飽和アミドのアルキロール又はアルコキシアルキル置換化合物、オキシラン基,ヒドロキシル基,カルボキシル基,アミノ基,スルホン酸基,燐酸基,ポリアルキレンオキシド基又は第4級アンモニウム塩基含有エチレン性不飽和単量体、多価アルコールとアクリル酸又はメタクリル酸との完全エステル、アリルアクリレート、アリルメタクリレート及びジビニルベンゼンの群から選択される1種又は2種以上の多官能性単量体 2〜10質量%
(ハ)上記(イ)及び(ロ)成分以外のエチレン性不飽和単量体 0〜20質量%
からなる混合単量体である請求項1に記載の建材用エマルジョン組成物。 - 前記(1)成分のオルガノポリシロキサンにグラフト共重合させる(2)成分である単量体又は混合単量体のポリマー化物のガラス転移点が0℃以下である請求項1又は2に記載の建材用エマルジョン組成物。
- 更に、架橋剤として1分子中に少なくとも3個のけい素原子に結合した水素原子を含有する液状オルガノポリシロキサン、及び架橋反応用触媒を配合してなる請求項1,2又は3に記載の建材用エマルジョン組成物。
