坪量70g/m2の通気性不織布に酢酸ビニルを主原料とする定着剤10g/m2、二酸化チタン30g/m2を担持させて調整例1の光触媒シートとした。
坪量70g/m2の通気性不織布に酢酸ビニルを主原料とする定着剤30g/m2、二酸化チタン30g/m2、ハイシリカゼオライト30g/m2を担持させて調整例2の光触媒シートとした。
坪量70g/m2の通気性不織布に、活性炭(比表面積1000m2/g)に対して白金を3質量%担持させた酸化触媒剤を30g/m2、酢酸ビニルを主原料とする定着剤10g/m2を担持させて調整例3の酸化触媒シートとした。
坪量70g/m2の通気性不織布に、活性炭(比表面積1000m2/g)に対してパラジウムを3質量%担持させた酸化触媒剤を30g/m2、酢酸ビニルを主原料とする定着剤10g/m2を担持させて調整例4の酸化触媒シートとした。
坪量70g/m2の通気性不織布に、二酸化マンガンに対して白金を3質量%担持させた酸化触媒剤を30g/m2、酢酸ビニルを主原料とする定着剤10g/m2を担持させて調整例5の酸化触媒シートとした。
坪量70g/m2の通気性不織布に、二酸化チタン30g、活性炭(比表面積1000m2/g)に対して白金を3質量%担持させた酸化触媒を30g/m2、酢酸ビニルを主原料とする定着剤20g/m2を担持させて混合触媒シートを作製した。
風上側に調製例1の光触媒シート、5cm間隔を空けて風下側に調製例3の酸化触媒シートを配置して比較例1の複合触媒フィルターとした。
風上側に調製例2の光触媒シート、5cm間隔を空けて風下側に調整例3の酸化触媒シートを配置して比較例2の複合触媒フィルターとした。
調製例6の混合触媒シートを比較例3の複合触媒フィルターとした。
調製例1の光触媒シートと調製例5の酸化触媒シートをエチレンビニルアルコールを主原料とするホットメルト接着剤で貼り合せ、30cm×30cmの寸法とし、酸化触媒シートを風上側に設置して比較例4の複合触媒フィルターとした。
<注入ガス量>
実施例1〜5および比較例1〜4の複合触媒フィルターを1立米の密閉容器内で運転しながらオクチルアルコールガスを徐々に注入し、ガス検知管を用いて検出される密閉容器内のオクチルアルコール濃度が20ppmになったところでガスの注入を停止し、注入したオクチルアルコールの容量(ml)を求め注入ガス量とし、以下の5水準で評価した。光触媒剤を担持された光触媒層の近傍には紫外線ランプを設置し平均的に1mW/cm2の光量が照射される条件とした。
A: 201ml 〜
B: 121ml 〜 200ml
C: 81ml 〜 120ml
D: 41ml 〜 80ml
E: 〜 40ml
実施例1〜5および比較例1〜4の複合触媒フィルターを1立米の密閉容器内で運転しながらオクチルアルコールガスを60分間連続で注入させた。オクチルアルコールの供給速度は容器の濃度を2ppm/minで上昇させる速度に設定した。
60分後に容器中に存在する分解ガスを総揮発性有機化合物(TVOC)センサー(新コスモス電機製)を用いて評価し、センサー読値から以下の5水準で評価した。該センサーを用いることにより分解途中の中間生成物の総モル数についておおよその比較が行える。注入ガス量とセンサー値を表1に示す。

C: 610 〜1000
D: 1001 〜1300
E: 1300 〜 単位[無単位]
2 酸化触媒層
Claims (2)
- 光触媒剤を含有する光触媒層と酸化触媒層を密着させてなる複合フィルターであり、光触媒層が風上側に設置されて使用されることを特徴とする複合触媒フィルター。
- 酸化触媒層が、白金、パラジウム、マンガン、ニッケル、銅、亜鉛およびジルコニウムのうち少なくとも一種の金属化合物が多孔質材料表面に担持されて構成されることを特徴とする複合触媒フィルター。
