Abstract
【解決手段】 本方法は、アルコールと水の混合物を含んで成る1番目の溶媒中でアルキルホスホネートジエステルにアルカリ化合物による加水分解をある程度受けさせることで反応混合物を生じさせることを含んで成り得る。前記反応混合物を少なくとも1種の非極性有機溶媒を含んで成る2番目の溶媒で希釈することで、アルキルホスホネートモノエステルを含有する有機相を生じさせてもよい。この方法に前記反応混合物を酸で酸性にすることを含めてもよい。

Description
で表されるアルキルホスホネートジエステルを式(2)
で表される塩が生じるに充分な量のアルカリ金属化合物もしくはアルカリ土類金属化合物およびアルコールと水を含んで成る溶媒混合物と反応させ、前記式(2)の反応生成物に酸を式(3)
で表されるアルキルホスホネートモノエステルが生じるに充分な量で添加することを含んで成るアルキルホスホネートモノエステル製造方法を含んでなることができる。
(態様の詳細な説明)
アルキルホスホネートモノエステルは、潤滑用流体に例えば摩擦耐久性および/または抗シャダ性能などを与える添加剤として用いるに有用である。より詳細には、アルキルホスホネートモノエステルは動力伝達用流体、例えば自動変速装置用流体(ATF)、手動変速装置用流体および/または連続可変変速装置(CVT)用流体[無限可変変速装置(IVT)用流体と表示される流体を包含]などに入れる添加剤として用いるに有用である。潤滑用流体には、例えば動力伝達用流体、例えば自動変速装置用流体(ATF)、手動変速装置用流体、連続可変変速装置(CVT)用流体、または無限可変変速装置(IVT)用流体などが含まれ得る。機能的流体には、基油、潤滑用流体および/または1種以上の追加的添加剤を含んで成る完全配合流体が含まれ得る。

Claims (35)
- アルキルホスホネートモノエステルの製造方法であって、
アルコールと水の混合物を含んで成る1番目の溶媒中でアルキルホスホネートジエステルにアルカリ化合物による加水分解をある程度受けさせることで反応混合物を生じさせ、
前記反応混合物を少なくとも1種の非極性有機溶媒を含んで成る2番目の溶媒で希釈することでアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを含有する有機相を生じさせ、
前記反応混合物を酸で酸性にする、
ことを含んで成る方法。 - 前記反応混合物を前記2番目の溶媒で希釈することで有機相と水相を含有する2相の液状混合物を生じさせる請求項1記載の方法。
- 更に、
前記有機相を前記水相から分離し、そして
前記2番目の溶媒を除去する、
ことも含んで成る請求項2記載の方法。 - 更に、前記有機相を蒸留して前記アルキルホスホネートモノエステルを得ることも含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記有機相が前記ジエステルを約0.2重量%以上から約1.1重量%以下の量で含有する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記有機相がアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを約95重量%以上含有する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記非極性有機溶媒が合成油、鉱油またはこれらの混合物の中の1種以上を含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記非極性有機溶媒がアルカン、線状エーテル、環状エーテル、ハロゲン置換炭化水素、芳香族炭化水素、シクロアルカンおよびこれらの混合物の中の1種以上を含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記アルキルホスホネートジエステルに加水分解をある程度受けさせることがアルキルホスホネートジエステルに加水分解をある程度受けさせることでモノエステル塩を生じさせることを含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記アルコールが低分子量のアルコールを含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記アルコールが還流温度で水と混和し得る請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記アルコールがメタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、イソプロパノール、n−ブタノール、t−ブタノール、ペンタノール、これらのイソおよび分枝異性体およびこれらの混合物の中の少なくとも1種を含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 水とアルコールの比率が前記溶媒混合物の中の水の重量パーセントとアルコールの重量パーセントで表して約1:10から約10:1である請求項1記載の方法。
- 水とアルコールの比率が前記溶媒混合物の中の水の重量パーセントとアルコールの重量パーセントで表して約1:1.1である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属化合物もしくはアルカリ土類金属化合物が水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、水酸化マグネシウム、水酸化カルシウム、水酸化バリウムおよび/または水酸化亜鉛の中の少なくとも1種を含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記酸が鉱酸、カルボン酸、燐酸、亜燐酸、塩酸、硝酸、過塩素酸、硫酸および/またはこれらの混合物の中の少なくとも1種を含んで成る請求項1記載の方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法に従って作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを自動変速装置用流体、手動変速装置用流体または連続可変変速装置用流体の中のいずれか1つを含んで成る自動車変速装置用流体で用いる使用。
- 請求項1記載の方法に従って作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを極圧剤、抗摩耗剤、抗酸化剤もしくは抗酸化剤系、腐食抑制剤もしくは腐食抑制剤系、金属不活性化剤、防錆剤、摩擦調整剤、分散剤、清浄剤、染料、シールスウエル剤、消泡剤、界面活性剤、粘度指数向上剤、粘度軽減剤、香料もしくは臭気隠し、およびこれらの適切な任意組み合わせの中の1種以上の混合物を含んで成る添加剤と基油の混合物を含んで成る動力伝達装置用流体で用いる使用。
- 請求項1記載の方法に従って作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを含んで成る潤滑剤。
- 請求項1記載の方法に従って作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステル。
- アルキルホスホネートモノエステルの製造方法であって、

で表されるアルキルホスホネートジエステルを式(2)
で表される塩が生じるに充分な量のアルカリ金属化合物もしくはアルカリ土類金属化合物およびアルコールと水を含んで成る溶媒混合物と反応させ、
前記式(2)の反応生成物に酸を式(3)
で表されるアルキルホスホネートモノエステルが生じるに充分な量で添加する、
ことを含んで成る方法。 - 前記アルコールがメタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、イソプロパノール、n−ブタノール、t−ブタノール、ペンタノール、これらのイソおよび分枝状異性体および/またはこれらの混合物の中の少なくとも1種を含んで成る請求項21記載の方法。
- 水とアルコールの比率が前記溶媒混合物の中の水の重量パーセントとアルコールの重量パーセントで表して約1:10から約10:1である請求項21記載の方法。
- 水とアルコールの比率が前記溶媒混合物の中の水の重量パーセントとアルコールの重量パーセントで表して約1:1.1である請求項21記載の方法。
- nが約13から約25を包含する請求項21記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属化合物もしくはアルカリ土類金属化合物が水酸化ナトリウム、水酸化カリウム、水酸化マグネシウム、水酸化カルシウム、水酸化バリウムおよび/または水酸化亜鉛の中の少なくとも1種を含んで成る請求項21記載の方法。
- 前記酸が鉱酸、カルボン酸、燐酸、亜燐酸、硫酸、硝酸、塩酸、過塩素酸および/またはこれらの混合物の中の少なくとも1種を含んで成る請求項21記載の方法。
- 前記アルキルホスホネートモノエステルがジアルキルホスホネートおよび/またはアルキルホスホン酸を含有して成る請求項21記載の方法。
- 請求項21記載の方法に従って作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを自動変速装置用流体、手動変速装置用流体または連続可変変速装置用流体の中のいずれか1つを含んで成る自動車変速装置用流体で用いる使用。
- 請求項21記載の方法に従って作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを極圧剤、抗摩耗剤、抗酸化剤もしくは抗酸化剤系、腐食抑制剤もしくは腐食抑制剤系、金属不活性化剤、防錆剤、摩擦調整剤、分散剤、清浄剤、染料、シールスウエル剤、消泡剤、界面活性剤、粘度指数向上剤、粘度軽減剤、香料もしくは臭気隠し、およびこれらの適切な任意組み合わせの中の1種以上の混合物を含んで成る添加剤と基油の混合物を含んで成る動力伝達装置用流体で用いる使用。
- 請求項21記載の方法に従って作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを含んで成る潤滑剤。
- 請求項21記載の方法に従って作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステル。
- 動力伝達装置用流体が示す摩擦耐久性および/または抗シャダ性能を向上させる方法であって、
アルコールと水の混合物を含んで成る1番目の溶媒中でアルキルホスホネートジエステルにアルカリ化合物による加水分解をある程度受けさせることで反応混合物を生じさせ、
前記反応混合物を少なくとも1種の非極性有機溶媒を含んで成る2番目の溶媒で希釈することでアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを含有する有機相を生じさせ、
前記反応混合物を酸で酸性にする、
ことを含んで成る方法で作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを動力伝達用流体に添加することを含んで成る方法。 - 動力伝達装置用流体用の添加剤であって、
アルコールと水の混合物を含んで成る1番目の溶媒中でアルキルホスホネートジエステルにアルカリ化合物による加水分解をある程度受けさせることで反応混合物を生じさせ、
前記反応混合物を少なくとも1種の非極性有機溶媒を含んで成る2番目の溶媒で希釈することでアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを含有する有機相を生じさせ、
前記反応混合物を酸で酸性にする、
ことを含んで成る方法で作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを有効量で含んで成る添加剤。 - 動力伝達装置用流体であって、基油を主要量で含有しかつ
アルコールと水の混合物を含んで成る1番目の溶媒中でアルキルホスホネートジエステルにアルカリ化合物による加水分解をある程度受けさせることで反応混合物を生じさせ、
前記反応混合物を少なくとも1種の非極性有機溶媒を含んで成る2番目の溶媒で希釈することでアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを含有する有機相を生じさせ、
前記反応混合物を酸で酸性にする、
ことを含んで成る方法で作られたアルキルホスホネートモノエステルを有効量で含有して成る動力伝達装置用流体。
