Claims (23)
- 人体血管内で使用できるように構成された医療用カテーテルであって、
内側ライナーと外側シェルとを含み前記人体血管内に適合する先端を有する筒状カテーテル・シャフトを含み、
前記カテーテル・シャフトは選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域を含む
ことを特徴とする医療用カテーテル。 - 選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域はダイアモンド型又は楕円形の非積層部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域は非積層部分を含み、該非積層部分の寸法が先端に向かうに従って増加するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域は非積層部分を含み、該非積層部分の間の積層部分が先端に向かうに従って減少するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域は非積層部分を含み、該非積層部分は円周方向に配置された組み合わせを形成するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 隣り合う組み合わせが相互に90°で互い違いになっていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記内側ライナーはポリテトラフルオロエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、又はフッ化エチレンプロピレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記外側シェルはナイロン又はナイロン12を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記カテーテルの先端は選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記カテーテルの基端は選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記選択的に変化させた積層の領域は前記カテーテルの全長にわたって存在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記内側ライナーはフィラー、造影材料、又は着色剤が無充填又は低充填であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記外側シェルはフィラー、造影材料、又は着色剤が無充填又は低充填であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記内側ライナーと外側シェルはフィラー、造影材料、又は着色剤が無充填又は低充填であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域は非積層部分と積層部分とを含み、前記内側ライナーは超高分子量高密度ポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 前記積層部分での前記超高分子量高密度ポリエチレン製内側ライナーの表面はレーザで改質されていることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の医療用カテーテル。
- 選択的に変化させた積層の少なくとも一つの領域を含む医療用カテーテルを作成する方法であって、
内側ライナーを含む医療用カテーテルを提供するステップと、
少なくとも一つの選択的領域で前記内側ライナーと外側シェルの間の接合に対して干渉するステップと、
前記内側ライナーの外側を覆うように前記外側シェルを形成する材料を付けるステップ
とを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記干渉ステップは、前記内側ライナーをエッチングする前に、前記内側ライナーの前記少なくとも一つの選択領域をマスクすることを含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記干渉ステップは前記内側ライナーと外側シェルの間の結束層に間隙を導入することを含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記干渉ステップは前記内側ライナーの前記少なくとも一つの選択領域へ熱接合阻害剤を付けることを含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記外側シェルを形成する材料を付ける前に、前記内側ライナーの上に補強部を付けることを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記内側ライナーは溶融押出成型された超高分子量高密度ポリエチレンであることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記干渉ステップは、前記内側ライナーをレーザーでエッチングする前に、前記内側ライナーの前記少なくとも一つの選択領域をマスクすることを含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
