Abstract
【解決手段】平面蛍光ランプの前面ガラス基板1と後面ガラス基板2に、断面が略U字形のU形溝を平行に複数列形成し、内面側で前後のU形溝を蛍光体塗膜4を挟んで接触させることで、大面積でも外気圧に耐えられる構造を実現する。次に、前後のU形溝の接触によってランプ内に形成されたトンネル状の空洞の内側で蛍光放電を発生させることで、前後のU形溝を接触させたことで生じた蛍光体塗膜4の非発光部によるU形溝底部の輝度低下を、U形溝壁面の発光によって補い、表面輝度が均一な平面蛍光ランプを実現する。更に、ランプ内の下側にヒータ線9を装着することで、ランプ内の下側に滞留した封入水銀を加熱し、十分に蒸発させ、低温でも明るく発光可能な平面蛍光ランプを実現する。

Claims (1)
- 外周の溶着部分と電極等部材取り付け部分を除いた範囲に、断面が略U字形のU形溝を平行に複数列形成し、内面側の溶着部分を除いた範囲に蛍光体塗膜(4)を形成した四角形の前面ガラス基板(1)と後面ガラス基板(2)を、内面側で前後のU形溝が蛍光体塗膜(4)を挟んで接触するように位置合わせした上で、外周部分をガラス枠(3)を介して溶着してランプ封体を形成し、U形溝が横長となる向きで、ランプ封体を立てて設置したとき、設置上側となるガラス枠(3)に、排気管(5)を封着し、設置横側となる対向するガラス枠(3)に、複数組の円筒電極(7)を溶接した点灯用導入線(6)を、前後のU形溝が蛍光体塗膜(4)を挟んで接触したことでランプ封体内に形成されたトンネル状の空洞を挟んで、対向するように封着し、設置下側となるガラス枠(3)に、一組又は複数組のヒータ線(9)を接続したヒータ用導入線(8)を封着した構造としたことを特徴とする平面蛍光ランプ。
