Description

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire, and more particularly, to a pneumatic tire capable of improving the adhesion of a steel cord used for a carcass layer to rubber.
[0002]
[Prior art]
BACKGROUND ART A pneumatic tire, particularly a heavy duty pneumatic tire, uses a carcass layer in which a steel cord is coated with an adhesive coat rubber. At the interface between the steel cord and the coated rubber, adhesive separation occurs due to the influence of heat, fatigue, moisture and the like during tire running. As a method of reducing this problem of adhesion and peeling, a method of applying a specific metal salt to a steel cord or blending it with a coat rubber is known (for example, see

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire that can improve the adhesion of a steel cord used for a carcass layer to rubber.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, in a pneumatic tire using a steel cord for a carcass layer, at least one site selected from the group consisting of a belt cushion, an upper bead filler, and a tie rubber provided between the carcass layer and the inner liner. A pneumatic tire using a rubber composition containing 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of polymethoxymethyl melamine having 3 to 6 methoxymethyl groups and 0 to 3 methylol groups based on 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber. Provided.
[0006]
According to the present invention, the rubber composition further contains 0.5 to 5.0 parts by weight of a cresol resin containing 60% by weight or more of metacresol based on 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber. A tire is provided.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the configuration of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a partial sectional view in the meridian direction showing an example of the pneumatic tire of the present invention. In FIG. 1, a pneumatic tire includes a pair of left and

[0012]
When polymethoxymethyl melamine is blended with the coating rubber of the carcass layer 4, heat generation of the carcass layer 4 increases, which adversely affects tire durability. Therefore, as described above, the polymethoxymethyl melamine of the present invention is blended in each portion adjacent to the carcass layer 4 so that heat generation of the carcass layer 4 can be minimized. In particular, it is more preferable to mix polymethoxymethyl melamine in the rubber composition of the
[0013]
In addition, by blending the polymethoxymethylmelamine of the present invention, the elongation after aging of the rubber composition of the present invention can be improved, and the effect of improving the durability of the tire can be obtained.
[0014]
The polymethoxymethylmelamine blended in the rubber composition of the present invention is represented by the following general formula.
[0015]
Embedded image
[0016]
In the formula, R is a methoxymethyl group (—CH 2 OCH 3 ) or a methylol group (—CH 2 OH), and has 3 to 6 methoxymethyl groups and 0 to 3 methylol groups.
[0017]
The polymethoxymethyl melamine of the present invention is blended in an amount of 0.5 to 10 parts by weight, preferably 1.0 to 5.0 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the diene rubber. If the amount is less than 0.5 part by weight, the effect of the present invention cannot be obtained. Conversely, if the amount exceeds 10 parts by weight, heat generation during running of the tire increases.
[0018]
Further, the rubber composition of the present invention further contains a cresol resin containing meta-cresol at 60% by weight or more based on 100 parts by weight of the diene rubber (hereinafter, also referred to as the cresol resin of the present invention) in an amount of from 0.5 to 5. 0 parts by weight, more preferably 1.0 to 3.0 parts by weight. By blending the cresol resin, the adhesiveness between the steel cord and the coat rubber can be further improved. This is because the cresol resin migrates to the carcass layer 4 together with the polymethoxymethylmelamine, reacts with each other, forms a protective layer on the surface of the steel cord, prevents moisture and heat, and suppresses moisture heat deterioration at the interface between the steel cord and the coated rubber. It is thought to be from.
[0019]
Here, when the content of meta-cresol in the cresol resin of the present invention is set to 60% by weight or more, since a reaction for forming a three-dimensional bond easily proceeds, a thicker and stronger protective layer is formed. Because it is easy. If the amount of the cresol resin of the present invention is less than 0.5 part by weight, it is difficult to achieve desired effects, and if it exceeds 5.0 parts by weight, the heat build-up of the rubber composition increases. Not preferred.
[0020]
The diene rubber according to the present invention may be any diene rubber conventionally compounded in various rubber compositions, such as natural rubber (NR), polyisoprene rubber (IR), and various styrene-butadiene copolymers. Rubber (SBR), various polybutadiene rubbers (BR), acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber (NBR), butyl rubber (IIR), ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer rubber (EPDM), and the like. These diene rubbers can be used alone or as an arbitrary blend.
[0021]
The rubber composition of the present invention can be compounded with a compounding agent usually used in the rubber industry as needed. Examples of the compounding agent include a reinforcing filler, a process oil, a vulcanizing agent, a vulcanization accelerator, a vulcanization activator, an antioxidant, an activator, a plasticizer, and a lubricant. can do. The rubber composition of the present invention is produced by mixing the above components using a known rubber kneading machine, for example, a roll, a Banbury mixer, a kneader or the like.
