Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a shift control device for a multi-stage transmission in which an auxiliary transmission is connected to an output side of a main transmission, and more particularly to a technique for eliminating a batting state of a synchromesh mechanism in the auxiliary transmission.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a tractor that pulls a trailer, a multi-stage transmission is often mounted to improve running performance because the weight of the vehicle increases. In recent years, a main transmission that is connected in series with a sub transmission to share a part of a gear train of the main transmission to reduce the size of the main transmission has become mainstream. In addition, a technology has been proposed in which a mechanical clutch and a multi-stage transmission are electronically controlled to realize an efficient automatic transmission (see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-165294).
[0003]
As an example of a multi-stage transmission, a splitter and a range as an auxiliary transmission are respectively connected to the input side and the output side of the main transmission, and each shift stage of the main transmission is shifted by half and the gear ratio is widened to increase the number of stages. There is something. In such a multi-stage transmission, in order to reduce the load (synchronous inertia) of the synchromesh mechanism in the range, the range is switched while the main transmission is in a neutral state, and after the range switching is completed, the shift control is performed to switch the main transmission to a predetermined shift stage. Is performed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In a general synchromesh mechanism, when the synchronized side and the synchronized side are completely stopped, a “batting state” may occur in which the ends of the chamfers of the synchronizer sleeve and the synchronizer ring face each other. When the batting state occurs, the synchronizer sleeve cannot slide in the gear direction on the synchronized side, and the gear cannot be switched. The frequency of occurrence of the batting state has been reduced by the improvement of the shape of the tip of the chamfer of the synchronizer sleeve and the synchronizer ring, but at present, it cannot be avoided reliably.
[0005]
In the batting state of the main transmission, when the clutch is connected with the main transmission in the neutral position, relative rotation occurs between the main gear and the main shaft, so that the positional relationship between the synchronizer sleeve and the tip of the chamfer of the synchronizer ring changes. It can easily be avoided.
[0006]
However, in the multi-stage transmission, the main transmission is switched after the range switching is completed. Therefore, if a batting state occurs in the range, the switching of the main transmission is not started. Therefore, since the main gear and the main shaft do not mesh with each other, the main shaft does not rotate even when the clutch is connected, and relative rotation between the main shaft and the range gear cannot be generated. For this reason, when a batting state occurs in the range, for example, the range can only be switched by slowly starting the vehicle while keeping the range at a high speed.
[0007]
In addition, when the vehicle is stopped, the main transmission is often in the neutral position, and when the vehicle is stopped from normal traveling, the range is often switched to the high speed stage. For this reason, when the vehicle starts, it is highly likely that the range must be switched from the high gear to the low gear in a state where the main gear, the main shaft, and the range gear are not rotating, and the above-described problem is likely to occur.
[0008]
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems, and in a multi-stage transmission in which an auxiliary transmission is connected to an output side of a main transmission, a synchromesh in the auxiliary transmission is changed by changing a shift control content. It is an object of the present invention to provide a shift control device for a multi-stage transmission in which a batting state of a mechanism is eliminated.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
For this reason, in the invention according to
[0010]
According to such a configuration, when the shift operation to the traveling stage accompanied by the switching of the sub-transmission is performed while the vehicle is stopped, the switching of the sub-transmission is started prior to the switching of the main transmission. Then, the switching of the sub transmission is started, and when the switching is completed, the switching of the main transmission is started. On the other hand, if the switching is not completed within a predetermined time after the start of the switching of the sub-transmission, it is determined that the batting state has occurred in the synchromesh mechanism of the sub-transmission, and the switching of the sub-transmission has not been completed. Switching of the main transmission is started as it is. Here, the “batting state” refers to a state in which the synchronization side and the synchronized side of the synchromesh mechanism are completely stopped, and the ends of the chamfers of the synchronizer sleeve and the synchronizer ring face each other.
[0011]
When the switching of the main transmission is started while the switching of the sub-transmission is not completed, the main transmission is switched while the synchronizer sleeve of the synchromesh mechanism in the sub-transmission is pressed in the direction of the synchronized gear. When the clutch is engaged in this state, the output of the internal combustion engine rotates the main shaft of the main transmission and the counter shaft of the subtransmission, and the relative rotation between the main shaft of the subtransmission and the synchronizer sleeve of the synchromesh mechanism in the subtransmission. Occurs. For this reason, the batting state in the auxiliary transmission is eliminated, and the switching can be performed. In addition, the main shaft may be shaken by the impact accompanying the switching of the main transmission, and the batting state in the sub-transmission may be canceled.
[0012]
The invention according to
[0013]
According to such a configuration, whether or not the vehicle is stopped is determined based on the output from the vehicle speed detecting means for detecting the vehicle speed. For this reason, vehicle speed detecting means such as a vehicle speed sensor attached to most vehicles can be used, and a cost increase due to the addition of the sensor can be suppressed.
[0014]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a switching state detecting means for detecting a switching state of the main transmission, and an operating state detecting means for detecting an operating state of a clutch connected to an input side of the main transmission. A shift command input for inputting a shift command when a neutral state of the main transmission is detected by the switching state detecting means and a clutch disengagement is detected by the operating state detecting means; It is characterized in that, based on an output from the means, it is determined whether or not a shift operation to a traveling stage accompanied by switching of the auxiliary transmission has been performed.
[0015]
According to this configuration, when the main transmission is in the neutral state and the clutch is disengaged, the shift operation to the drive stage with the change of the sub-transmission is performed based on the output from the shift instruction means for inputting the shift instruction. It is determined whether or not it has been touched. For this reason, the intention of the vehicle driver to start can be accurately detected, and appropriate shift control of the multi-stage transmission is performed according to the intention.
[0016]

Since the shift control device for a multi-stage transmission according to the present invention is realized by only slightly changing existing control contents, the possibility of human error due to the change in control contents is small, and cost increases and reliability is increased. It is possible to suppress the deterioration of the performance as much as possible.
[0048]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the invention, when the switching of the sub-transmission is not completed even after the lapse of the predetermined time, the switching of the main transmission is started while the switching of the sub-transmission is not completed. You. For this reason, relative rotation occurs between the main shaft of the main transmission and the counter shaft of the auxiliary transmission, and the synchronizer sleeve of the synchromesh mechanism in the auxiliary transmission, and the batting state in the auxiliary transmission can be eliminated. In addition, the main shaft may be shaken by the impact accompanying the switching of the main transmission, and the batting state in the sub-transmission may be canceled.
[0049]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, vehicle speed detecting means such as a vehicle speed sensor attached to most of the vehicles can be used, and it is possible to suppress an increase in cost caused by adding a sensor.
[0050]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the shift control of the multi-stage transmission can be appropriately performed according to the intention of the vehicle driver to start.
