Abstract
【解決手段】MRIに使用する勾配コイル構造は、主勾配コイル20とシールド・コイル21を有し、シールド・コイルの一部が主コイルより外側に配置されている。これらのコイルは、画像形成領域22に対して周辺領域25において、コイルがほとんど一致するように構成され、このコイルは、主コイルの残部に対してある角度で前方に延びて、その結果、主コイルは画像領域22から凹形に見える。この配設によって、シールド効率が改善される。

Claims (5)
- MRI装置に使用する勾配コイル構造であって、主勾配コイルとシールド・コイルを備え、前記シールド・コイルの一部が、主勾配コイルより外側に配置されており、前記コイルは、画像形成容積に対する周辺領域において、コイルがほとんど一致するように構成されており、一致領域のコイルが、主コイルの残部に対してある角度で前方に延びて、その結果、主コイルが画像形成容積から凹型に見える、前記コイル構造。
- 使用に際して、ある正味電流が、一致領域のコイル中を流れる、請求項1に記載の勾配コイル構造。
- シールド・コイルが概して円錐形である、請求項1または請求項2に記載の勾配コイル構造。
- 主コイルの中央領域が平面であり、主コイルの一致領域と中央領域の間の角度が鈍角である、請求項1から請求項3までのいずれかに記載の勾配コイル構造。
- 請求項1から請求項4までのいずれかに記載の勾配コイル構造を含む、MRIS装置。
