Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.フッ素を含む環境の中で各元素を新規の化学種に転化する連続式インライン プロセスによって試料の中の元素の同位体比を高感度で検出する質量分析計装置 において: (a)被検体の混合物が特定の分子に分離される試料導入要素であって、前 記試料導入は化学反応インターフェースに試料を連続的に導入する手段から成る こと; (b)化学反応インターフェース(CRI)であって、前記CRIはフッ素 を含む環境の中で無傷の被検体を新規の元素特定化合物に転化すること;及び (c)精密な同位体測定が出来る質量分析計、 から成ることを特徴とする前記質量分析計装置。 2.前記試料導入要素が、ガスクロマトグラフ及び高速液体クロマトグラフから 成る群から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 3.前記化学反応インターフェースが、マイクロ波駆動型ヘリウムプラズマイン ターフェースであることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 4.前記質量分析計が、マルチコレクター同位体比質量分析計であることを特徴 とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 5.前記試料導入要素が高速液体クロマトグラフであって、噴霧化も向流も使わ れてユニバーサルインターフェースによって液相を取り除くことを特徴とする、 請求の範囲第2項に記載の装置。 6.前記試料導入要素が高速液体クロマトグラフであり、輸送装置が使われて液 相を取り除くことを特徴とする、請求の範囲第2項に記載の装置。 7.炭素、窒素、水素、酸素、塩素及び硫黄化合物を含む試料の質量を測定する 方法において、 (a)炭素又は窒素化合物を含む試料を、被検体の混合物が特定の分子に分 離される試料導入要素に加えることであって、前記試料導入要素は化学反応イン ターフェース(CRI)に試料を連続的に導入する手段から成り;前記CRIは 無傷の炭素及び窒素被検体を、前記化合物を分割するフッ素から成る環境の中で 新規の元素特定化合物に転化すること;及び (b)精密な同位体測定が出来る質量分析計を用いて前記試料の化合物の同 位体比を計算すること、 から成ることを特徴とする前記方法。 8.前記質量分析計が、化学反応インターフェース質量分析計(CRIMS)及 び同位体比質量分析計システム(IRMS)から成る群から選ばれることを特徴 とする、請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 9.前記フッ素反応ガスがNF3であることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第7項に 記載の方法。 10.前記フッ素反応ガスがF2であることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第7項に 記載の方法。 11.前記試料が、炭素、窒素、重水素、塩素、酸素及び硫黄から成る群から選 ばれる化合物から成ることも特徴とする、請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。 12.前記試料が炭素及び窒素を含む化合物から成ることを特徴とする、請求の 範囲第11項に記載の方法。 13.未知の薬又は生化学代謝生成物の元素及び同位体特性を評価する方法にお いて、 (a)含まれる未知の薬又は生化学代謝生成物試料を、被検体の混合物が特 定の分子に分離される試料導入要素に加えることであって、前記試料導入要素は 化学反応インターフェース(CRI)に試料を連続的に導入する手段から成り; 前記CRIは無傷の炭素及び窒素被検体を、前記化合物を分割するフッ素から成 る環境の中で新規の元素特定化合物に転化すること;及び (b)精密な同位体測定が出来る質量分析計を用いて前記試料の化合物の同 位体比を計算すること、 から成ることを特徴とする前記方法。 14.前記未知薬又は生化学代謝生成物試料が、炭素、窒素、重水素、塩素、酸 素及び硫黄から成る群から選ばれる元素から成ることを特徴とする、請求の範囲 第13項に記載の方法。 15.前記方法が、前記未知薬又は生化学代謝生成物試料を、GC/CRIMS により検出されることが出来る硫黄、リン又はチオエーテルを加えることにより 化学的に修飾することから成ることも特徴とする、請求の範囲第13項に記載の 方法。 16.前記方法が、 (a)被検体の混合物が特定の分子に分離される試料試料導入要素であって 、前記試料導入は、化学反応インターフェースに試料を連続的に導入する手段か ら成ること; (b)化学反応インターフェース(CRI)であって、前記CRIはフッ素 を含む環境の中で無傷の被検体を新規の元素特定化合物に転化すること;及び (c)精密な同位体測定が出来る質量分析計、 から成る装置で実施されることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第13項に記載の方法 。
