Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.虫が飛んでいる空気中に殺虫剤組成物の液体小滴を噴霧することからなり、 噴霧中、単極電荷が二層帯電及び電荷分離によって前記液体小滴に与えられ、 前記単極電荷は、前記小滴が少なくとも+/- 1x10-4C/kgの電荷対質量 の比を有するようなレベルにある、飛んでいる虫を殺すための方法。 2.前記殺虫剤組成物は、圧力下で機械的に作動されるエアゾールスプレー装置 から噴霧される、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記エアゾールスプレー装置は家庭用エアゾールスプレー装置である、請求 項2に記載の方法。 4.前記殺虫剤組成物は液体又はスラリーである、請求項1乃至3に記載の方法 。 5.前記殺虫剤組成物はエマルションである、請求項1乃至4に記載の方法。 6.前記液体小滴は5乃至100μmの範囲の平均直径を有する、請求項1乃至 5に記載の方法。 7.少なくとも+/- 1x10-4C/kgの電荷対質量の比になる単極電荷を二層 帯電及び電荷分離によって噴霧される組成物の液体小滴に与えることができる スプレー装置であって、 i) 前記液体組成物を収容するためのリザーバと、 ii) 前記液体を小滴噴霧の形態で噴出させるスプレーヘッドと、 iii) 前記組成物を前記リザーバから前記スプレーヘッドまで供給するための 導管系と、を有し、 a) 前記スプレーヘッドはボアを有し、該ボアを通して液体か前記装置から 噴出され、前記ボアは少なくとも10のL/a比を有する出口を有し、 ここで、Lはmm単位のボア出口を構成する周囲の長さであり、aはmm2 単位のボア出口の断面積であり、 b) 前記装置は、小滴がスプレーヘッドから少なくとも毎秒0.5グラムの 流量で噴出され且つ少なくとも+/- 1x10-4C/kgの電荷対質量の 比を有するように構成される、 前記スプレー装置。 8.前記スプレーヘッドはアクチュエータ内の挿入体である、請求項7に記載の スプレー装置。 9.前記L/a比は少なくとも12である、請求項7又は8に記載のスプレー装 置。 10.前記ボア出口は曲がりくねった周囲を有する、請求項7乃至9に記載のスプ レー装置。 11.前記スプレーヘッドの形態は、ボア出口が複数のセグメント状の孔からなる ようなものである、請求項7乃至10に記載のスプレー装置。 12.前記ボア出口は1以上の中央孔を更に有する、請求項7乃至10に記載のス プレー装置。 13.前記スプレーヘッドの形態は、前記ボア出口が複数の扇形からなるようなも のである、請求項7乃至10に記載のスプレー装置。 14.前記スプレーヘッドの形態は、前記ボア出口がグリル又は格子からなるよう なものである、請求項7乃至10に記載のスプレー装置。 15.前記スプレーヘッドの形態は、前記ボア出口がほぼ十字形の孔の形態である ようなものである、請求項7乃至10に記載のスプレー装置。 16.前記スプレーヘッドの形態は、前記ボア出口が同心リングの形態の孔を有す るようなものである、請求項7乃至10に記載のスプレー装置。 17.前記スプレーヘッドの形態は、前記ボア出口が舌状で且つ振動することがで きる突出部を前記ボア中に含むようなものである、請求項7乃至10に記載の スプレー装置。 18.少なくとも+/- 1x10-4C/kgの電荷対質量の比になる単極電荷を二層 帯電及び電荷分離によって噴霧される組成物の液体小滴に与えることができる スプレー装置であって、 i) 前記液体組成物を収容するためのリザーバと、 ii) 前記液体を小滴噴霧の形態で噴出させるスプレーヘッドと、 iii) 前記組成物を前記リザーバから前記スプレーヘッドまで供給するため の導管系と、を有し、 a) 前記スプレーヘッドはボアを有し、該ボアを通して液体が装置から噴 出され、前記ボアは、L/a比が少なくとも8、好ましくは少なくとも 10である曲かりくねった周囲を有する出口を有し、ここで、Lはmm単 位のボア出口を構成する周囲の長さであり、aはmm2単位のボア出口の 断面積であり、 b) 前記装置は、小滴がスプレーヘッドから少なくとも毎秒0.4グラム、 好ましくは少なくとも毎秒0.5グラムの流量で噴出され且つ少なくと も+/-1 x10-4C/kgの電荷対質量の比を有するように構成される 、 前記スプレー装置。 19.バルブ組立体を含むエアゾールスプレー装置である請求項7乃至18に記載 のスプレー装置であって、前記バルブ組立体は、 i) テールピースに対して直線移動可能にに取付けられたバルブステムと 、 ii) 前記バルブステムを第1の閉位置と、前記バルブステムが前記テール ピースと連通する第2の開位置との間で移動させるためのアクチュエー タと、を有し、前記スプレーヘッドは前記バルブステムと連通し且つ前 記アクチュエータ内に位置し、前記導管系はバルブステム、テールピー ス、及びテールピースとリザーバとを接続するディップチューブを有し 、前記導管系の液体は、リザーバ内の圧力下のガスによって前記リザー バからノズルまで推進される、 前記スプレー装置。 20.前記スプレーヘッドは、前記導管系の一部分を構成する渦流室を含む、請求 項19に記載のエアゾール。 21.前記バルブステムに、テールピースとの連通用の、2つのオリフィスの形態 の開口が設けられ、該オリフィスの各々は0.51mm乃至0.61mmの範囲の直 径を有する、請求項19乃至20に記載のエアゾール。 22.前記テールピースは、前記リザーバ内のガスを前記テールピース内の液体に 直接作用させることができる、直径が少なくとも0.76mmである開口を含む 、請求項19乃至21に記載のエアゾール。 23.前記ディップチューブは、0.64mm以下の直径を有するテールピースの開 口に接続される、請求項19乃至22に記載のエアゾール。 24.液体小滴を更に帯電させるために、液体組成物を分流させる機械的分流装置 を前記アクチュエータ内に更に有する、請求項19に記載のエアゾール。 25.前記機械的分流装置は、ほぼ半径方向に延びる溝を有するディスクからなり 、前記溝は前記アクチュエータの表面と協働して、前記液体組成物を強制的に 前記溝の中に流す、請求項24に記載のエアゾール。 26.前記挿入体は、アセタール、ポリエステル、ポリ塩化ビニル、ナイロン、又 はポリプロピレンのようなポリマー材料で形成される、請求項8乃至25に記 載のスプレー装置。
