Abstract
Un procedimiento para matar insectos voladores que comprende la pulverización en el aire en el que vuelan los insectos de gotas finas de una composición insecticida, una carga unipolar que se imparte a dichas gotas finas de líquido por carga de capa doble y separación de carga durante la pulverización, estando la carga unipolar a un nivel tal que dichas gotas finas tienen una relación de carga a masa de al menos ñ 1 x 10-4 C/kg. Un dispositivo pulverizador que puede impartir una carga unipolar por carga de doble capa y separación de carga para gotas finas líquidas de una composición pulverizada desde él tiene una cabeza de pulverización en forma de inserción y un accionador, teniendo la cabeza de pulverización un orificio a través del cual se expele el líquido teniendo una salida, preferiblemente con una periferia tortuosa, que tiene una relación de al menos 8, donde L es la longitud de la periferia que define la salida del orificio y a es el área de la SECCION transversal de la salida delorificio en mm2 y estando construido el aparato de forma que las gotas finas se expelen desde la cabeza pulverizadora con un caudal de al menos 0,5 gramos por segundo y tiene una relación de carga a masa de al menos ñ 1 x 10-4 C/kg.
