【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、平らな状態で連続
して次々に送られる管材、好ましくはプラスチック材料
の内層を備えた紙製の管材の互いに重ね合わされた熱可
塑性材料製の内壁をストリップ形に溶封(ヒートシー
ル)し又は溶着させる溶封装置であって、相互の隙間を
制限する2つの加熱状態の長手方向に延びる加熱ジョー
と、加熱ジョーの一領域内において管材をまとめて加圧
する手段と、隙間を通して管材を移動させるコンベヤ装
置とを有する溶封装置に関する。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】この種
の溶封(又はヒートシール)装置は、例えば、いわゆる
ピンチボトム形大袋(pinch bottom sacks)の製造に用
いられている。ピンチボトム形大袋は、内壁がヒートシ
ール可能な層を備えた通常は紙製の管材で構成されてい
る。物が漏れ出ないよう閉じられた底を形成するため
に、平らに置かれた管材には、底の側の切り口又は裁断
縁の近くに且つこれと平行にストリップ形のヒートシー
ル部が設けられ、かかるヒートシール部によって、管材
の側壁が互いに溶着される。その後、底の構造の安定性
を向上させるため、底の側部の管材のエッジストリップ
を一方の側壁に折り返し、これに接合する。底を封止す
る横方向ヒートシールシームを形成するため、横方向に
供給された管材は、その入口側で2つの加熱ジョー相互
間に形成された隙間を通り、この隙間は従来、その入口
側でくさびの形状に広げられている。公知の装置では、
加熱ジョーによって加熱された管材のストリップ形領域
を一緒に加圧する作業は、加熱ジョーによって形成され
る隙間が出口領域で狭くなっていることにより可能とな
る。しかしながら、このように狭くなることにより、管
材は互いに向かい合った加熱ジョーの側部からはみ出る
ことになり、この場合、摩擦力が大きくなり、したがっ
て、通常管材を相互の間にしっかりとクランプする対を
なすコンベヤベルトから成るコンベヤ装置によって供給
される管材は、コンベヤ装置に対してよじ曲げられ、オ
フセット位置をとることになり、このオフセット位置
は、次に行う加工を面倒にしたり、これを不可能にする
ことさえある。
【0003】したがって、本発明の目的は、管材が供給
装置に対してずれるという問題を生じることなく、スト
リップ形のヒートシールシームを次々に送られる管材に
施すことができる上述した形式の溶封装置を提供するこ
とにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】この目的は、本発明によ
れば、加圧ジョーの付近に1対のロールが設けられ、こ
れらロールが各管材の加圧処理ニップを形成することに
よって達成される。
【0005】本発明の装置では、加熱状態の加熱ジョー
は、ストリップ形のヒートシールシームが設けられるべ
き管材の領域を、摩擦が無く又は殆ど無い状態でこれら
ジョー相互間に形成された隙間を通って搬送できるほど
広い間隔を持つのがよい。しかしながら、内側熱可塑性
層の十分な加熱後に良好なヒートシールシームをつくる
ためには、本発明によれば、クランプ又は加圧ロール対
を形成するロールが設けられ、ヒートシールシームが形
成されるべき管材の領域がかかるロール中を通り、かく
して、一緒にしっかりと加圧され、したがって可塑化さ
れた熱可塑性層が互いに溶着されるようになっている。
【0006】形成されるべきストリップ形ヒートシール
シームの付近でボールを通過する管材を一緒に加圧する
ロールは、自由回転状態で設けられるのがよい。
【0007】ロール対の各ロールを2つの加熱ジョーの
うち一方に取り付けるのが有益である。これにより、ロ
ールは、加熱ジョーの温度を受け取り、ヒートシールシ
ームが形成されるべき領域から熱を全く奪わないことに
なる。
【0008】当然のことながら、クランプロール対のう
ち少なくとも一方のロールは、管材の供給速度に一致し
た周速度でこのロールを駆動する駆動装置を備えること
も可能である。かかる駆動装置によって、力が管材に作
用してこれらを後ろに保持することが一段と防止され
る。
【0009】ヒートシールシームが設けられるべき管材
の領域に十分な熱を供給するためには、供給方向におい
て前後に加圧ロール対を備えた数対の加熱ジョーを用い
ることが有益であり、かかる加熱ジョーの各対は、形成
されるべき同一シームに差し向けられる。
【0010】本発明の例示の実施形態を、添付の図面を
参照して以下に詳細に説明する。

【発明の実施の形態】溶封装置は、図示されていない機
械フレームに取り付けられた少なくとも1対の加熱ジョ
ー1,2を有し、加熱ジョーの互いに対向して配置され
た状態で熱を伝えるとともに(或いは)反射させるスト
リップ形表面が、隙間3を形成する相互間隔を有してお
り、かかるストリップ形表面の幅は、形成されるべきヒ
ートシールシームの幅を定める。電気的に加熱できる発
熱ロッド4が、長手方向に延びる加熱ジョー1,2中に
通常のやり方で設けられている。数本の連続した循環す
る二重ベルト5,6が互いに平行に延びる状態で図示し
ていない機械フレーム中に設けられており、これらベル
トは、図示されていない駆動ロール及び偏向ロールに掛
けられており、またこれらベルトは、ストリップ形内側
ヒートシールシームが設けられるべき管材7を上方側部
と下方側部との間でクランプし、コンベヤ装置として、
図示の方法で加熱ジョー1,2相互間の隙間3を通って
動く。連続した二重ベルト対5,6を構成するコンベヤ
装置の供給方向は、矢印Aの方向である。
【0012】加熱ジョー1,2の端部領域において、ロ
ール8,9は、図示していない支承ピンに自由回転状態
で取り付けられており、これらロールは、図示のように
クランプ又は加圧ロール対を形成している。下側ロール
8は、下側加熱ジョー2に固定状態で連結された支承ピ
ンに取り付けられており、したがって、下側ロール8
は、回転自在に設けられるようになっており、この場
合、これを保持する支承ピンは、半径方向に動くことが
できない。
【0013】上側ロール9は、垂直方向に可動な支承ピ
ンに取り付けられている。上側加熱ジョー1に固着され
たカウンター支承体11で支持されている押えばね10
が、ロール9を保持する支承ピンに作用し、クランプロ
ール対の上側ロール9を下側ロール8に所定の力で押し
付けるようになっている。
【0014】ストリップ形横方向ヒートシールシームが
設けられるべき管材7の領域を十分に加熱するために、
図面に示す形式の加熱ジョーの多数の対、例えば4つの
装置が、図示していない態様で配置される。数個の装置
を通って管材を搬送する目的で、二重ベルトコンベヤ
5,6から成る単一のコンベヤ装置を設けてもよい。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 平らな状態で連続して次々に送られる管
    材(7)、好ましくはプラスチック材料の内層を備えた
    紙製の管材(7)の互いに重ね合わされた熱可塑性材料
    製の内壁をストリップ形に溶封し又は溶着させる溶封装
    置であって、相互の隙間を制限する2つの加熱状態の長
    手方向に延びる加熱ジョー(1,2)と、加熱ジョー
    (1,2)の一領域内において管材(7)をまとめて加
    圧する手段と、前記隙間を通して管材(7)を移動させ
    るコンベヤ装置とを有し、加熱ジョー(1,2)の付近
    には、1対のロール(8,9)が設けられ、前記ロール
    (8,9)は、各管材(7)の加圧処理ニップを形成し
    ていることを特徴とする装置。
  2. 【請求項2】 ロール(8,9)は、自由回転状態で設
    けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
  3. 【請求項3】 ロール対の各ロール(8,9)は、2つ
    の加熱ジョー(1,2)のうち一方に取り付けられてい
    ることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の装置。
  4. 【請求項4】 ロール対のうち少なくとも一方のロール
    (8,9)は、これを、管材(7)の供給速度に一致し
    た周速度で駆動する駆動装置を備えていることを特徴と
    する請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の装置。
  5. 【請求項5】 加圧ロール対を備えた数個の加圧状態の
    加熱ジョーが、形成されるべき管材(7)の同一シーム
    に差し向けられた状態で管材の供給方向に配置されてい
    ることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の
    装置。
