Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schweißmaschine für Kunststoffsäcke und -bänder, bestehend aus einer mit Heißluft betriebenen Schweißvorrichtung mit einem dahinter angeordneten Andruckrollenpaar, aus einer Kühlvorrichtung und aus einem Förderbandpaar für den Transport der zu verschweißenden Gegenstände.
Derartige Schweißmaschinen sind in mehrfacher Ausführung, z.B. durch die DE-PS 16 79 978 oder die US-PS 34 88 244, bekannt geworden. Die Verschweißung von mittels einer Fördervorrichtung transportierten Kunststoffsäcken erfolgt hier dadurch, daß Warmluft aus zwei gegenüberliegenden Backen auf die zu verschweißende Stelle geblasen wird, die den Kunststoff so hoch erwärmt, daß die aufeinanderliegenden Kunststoffteile sich miteinander verschweißen, worauf die Schweißstelle noch ein Andruckrollenpaar zur Sicherung der Verschweißung durchläuft, bevor die Schweißstelle gekühlt wird. Dieses Andruckrollenpaar weist keinen Antrieb auf und ist auch nur mit geringem Druck beaufschlagt.
Es ist die Aufgabe der Erfindung, mit geringerer Erwärmung bei der Verschweißung auszukommen. Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß der Antrieb des Andruckrollenpaares ebenso wie weiterer Transportrollenpaare im Bereich der Schweißvorrichtung und der Kühlvorrichtung durch tangentiale Reibung an Keilriemen abgeleitet ist, die von den Antriebsrollenpaaren der Förderbänder angetrieben sind.
Hierdurch wird das Andruckrollenpaar zu einem Paar von Schweißrollen, die — da ihr Antrieb mit dem Antrieb des Förderbandes synchronisiert ist — hohen Druck aufweisen können und dabei auch bei niedrigerer Erhitzung des Kunststoffes eine exakte Verschweißung gewährleisten. Das erbringt den Vorteil einwandfreier Schweißstellen.
Die Erfindung wird anhand eines in der Zeichnung schematisch dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles näher erläutert. Es zeigt

Die Schweißmaschine für Kunststoffsäcke und
-bänder besteht aus einer Transportvorrichtung A, einem Maschinenständer B als Rahmen der gesamten Maschine, einem Luftpuffergefäß Q einer elektrischen Anlage D, einer Hebe- und Niederführungsvorrichtung
E, einer Erwärmungsvorrichtung F und einer Steuerungstafel G.
Das zum Verschweißen bestimmte Material 1 wird durch ein Förderbandpaar A in Pfeilnchtung transportiert. Mit Hilfe eines Antriebsrollenpaares 2, welches zwei Keilriemenpaare 3 antreibt, die tangential die Transportrollen 4, die Andruckrollenpaare 5 und die Transportrollenpaare 6 antreiben, wird das Material zwischen zwei Heizbacken 7 geführt, die mit warmer Luft gespeist sind. Die warme Luft strömt durch in den Heizbackenoberflächen vorgesehene öffnungen 8 heraus und plastifiziert das Material, welches dann durch die Druckrollen 5 zusammengedrückt und somit verschweißt wird.
Dahinter gelangt das Material in die Kühlzone zwischen zwei Kühlbacken 9, die identisch mit den Heizbacken 7 sind, aber mit kalter Luft gespeist sind und weiter zwischen zwei Andruckrollen 5 in eine weitere Kühlzone zwischen zwei Kühlbacken 10, die ebenfalls mit kalter Luft gespeist sind. Das geschweißte Material verläßt die Verschweißeinrichtung mit der Temperatur der Umgebungsluft.
Der Wärmeträger — die Luft — ist aus der Betriebsluftanlage entnommen, durch einen Druckausgleicher Cgeleitet und tritt dann in die Heizvorrichtung
F, in der die Luft wegen der Öffnungsanordnung einen zickzackförmigen Weg (F i g. 4) zurücklegen muß. Die Durchmesser der Rohre 12 sind so gewählt worden, daß sie eins in das andere eindringen und einen freien Raum zwischen ihnen lassen, durch den die Luft strömen kann, bis sie in diü Zentralzone gelangt, von wo sie nach der Erwärmung durch die elektrischen Widerstände 13 und 14 zur Schweißstelle geleitet wird.
Der Antrieb des Transportsystems wird durch handelsübliche Transmissionsriemen mit trapezförmigem Querschnitt aus Gummi mit Textileinlage durchgeführt.
Der Ersatz der Transmissionsriemen ist leicht und in kurzer Zeit durchzuführen.
Die Heizvorrichtung sichert eine abgestufte Erwärmung der Luft mit maximalem Wirkungsgrad, da die Zwischenwände und die Heizwiderstände so angeordnet sind, daß die Luft durch die Zentralzone mit der gewünschten Temperatur austritt und damit ungewünschte technologische Unterbrechungen vermeidet.
Jeder Bestandteil der Schweißvorrichtung kann rasch ersetzt werden.

    Schweißmaschine für Kunststoffsäcke und -bänder, bestehend aus einer mit Heißluft betriebenen Schweißvorrichtung mit einem dahinter angeordneten Andruckrollenpaar, aus einer Kühlvorrichtung und aus einem Förderbandpaar für den Transport der zu verschweißenden Gegenstände, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Antrieb des Andruckrollenpaares (5) ebenso wie weiterer Transportrollenpaare (4, 6) im Bereich der Schweißvorrichtung (7) und der Kühlvorrichtung (10) durch tangentiale Reibung an Keilriemen (3) abgeleitet ist, die von den Antriebsrollenpaaren der Förderbänder angetrieben sind.
