Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. その中に出口と入口を持つ濾過装置、 該出口内に配置される濾過媒体、 該濾過媒体の下流にある第1のチャンネルを含む流路であって、該チャン ネルが該出口及び該濾過媒体と液流の関係にある流路、 該第1チャンネルの断面積であって、該濾過媒体と該チャンネルの底部表 面の間の距離により部分的に規定されるものであり、そして該第1チャンネ ルを含む該流路を通りそして該出口を通ってその中の空気を強制的に流すよ うなサイズのものである断面積、 を含んで成る、生物学的液体を濾過する装置。 2. 該第1チャンネル及び該流路の断面積が該出口の断面積に等しいか又はそ れより小さいものである、請求項1記載の装置。 3. 該第1チャンネルが、濾過媒体と第2チャンネルの底部表面の間の距離に より部分的に規定される断面積を持つ該第2チャンネルと液流の関係にあるもの であり、該断面積が、濾過された生物学的流体が該第2チャンネル内の空気を該 第1チャンネル内にそして該出口を通して強制的に流すようなサイズである、請 求項2記載の装置。 4. 該第2チャンネルの断面積が第1チャンネルの断面積に等しいか又はそれ より小さいものである、請求項3記載の装置。 5. 複数の平行流チャンネルをさらに含んで成る請求項1記載の装置であって 、該平行流チャンネルが、その中の濾過された生物学的液体が該第1チャンネル 内に流入しそして該出口を通るように設計されておりそして濾過媒体とその底部 の間の距離によって部分的に規定される断面積を持つものであり、該平行チャン ネルの断面積のサイズが、その中の濾過された液体が該平行流チャンネル内の空 気を該出口内に強制的に流入させるように決められるものである装置。 6. 該第2チャンネルが一つの場所において該第1チャンネルと交差し、該濾 過媒体の活性部分の周辺付近まで伸びている、円形のチャンネルを含むものであ る、請求項3記載の装置。 7. 該平行チャンネルが該第2チャンネル内に供給するものである、請求項6 記載の装置。 8. 複数の平行流チャンネルをさらに含んで成るものである請求項4記載の装 置であって、該平行流チャンネルが、その中の濾過された生物学的液体が該第1 チャンネル内に流入しそして該出口を通るように設計され、そして濾過媒体とそ の底部の間の距離によって部分的に規定される断面積を持つものであり、該平行 チャンネルの断面積のサイズが、その中の濾過された液体が該平行流チャンネル 内の空気を該出口内に流入させるように決められるものである装置。 9. 該第2チャンネルが該濾過媒体の活性部分の周辺付近まで伸びている円形 のチャンネルを含むものであり、そして該円形のチャンネルが一つの場所におい て該第1チャンネルと交差するものである、請求項8記載の装置。 10. 該平行流チャンネルが該第2チャンネル内に供給するものである、請求 項9記載の装置。 11. 平行流チャンネル間のスペースが平行流チャンネルの幅の約2倍に等し いか又はそれより大きいものである、請求項5又は請求項8記載の装置。 12. 平行流チャンネルの深さが平行流チャンネルの幅の約2倍に等しいか又 はそれより小さいものである、請求項11記載の装置。 13. 複数の横断流チャンネルをさらに含むものである請求項5記載の装置で あって、該横断流チャンネルが該平行チャンネルと交差しそして濾過媒体とその 底部の間の距離により部分的に規定される断面積を有するものであり、該横断チ ャンネルの断面積が、その中の濾過された液体がその中の空気を該平行チャンネ ル内にそして該出口内に強制的に流入させるようなサイズである装置。 14. 該横断流チャンネルの断面積が該平行流チャンネルの断面積よりも小さ いものである、請求項11記載の装置。 15. 横断流チャンネルの幅が平行流チャンネルの幅に等しいか又はそれより 小さいものである、請求項14記載の装置。 16. 横断流チャンネルの深さが平行流チャンネルの深さの半分より小さいも のである、請求項15記載の装置。 17. 生物学的液体濾過システムの濾過装置内での空気の捕捉を防止するため の方法であって、下記の工程、すなわち 該濾過システムを通しそして該濾過装置を通して生物学的液体を流す工 程、 該濾過装置内の濾過媒体の下流に負の圧力を創り出す工程、 該装置の出口に空気を強制的に流入させるのに十分な流速で該濾過媒体 の下流の該濾過装置内の空気を出口を通して強制的に流し、それにより該 濾過装置内の該濾過媒体の下流で空気が捕捉されるのを防止する工程、 を含んで成る方法。 18. 濾過された生物学的液体を用いて、該濾過装置の該出口に至る第1チャ ンネルを含む流路中に、該濾過装置の下流にある空気を強制的に流入させる工程 をさらに含んで成る、請求項17記載の方法。 19. 空気を第2チャンネル内から第1チャンネル内に追い出すのに十分な流 速で濾過された生物学的液体を該第2チャンネルから該第1チャンネル内に流入 させる工程をさらに含んで成る、請求項18記載の方法。 20. 平行流チャンネルから第2チャンネル内に空気を追い出すのに十分な流 速で濾過された生物学的液体を該平行チャンネルから該第2チャンネルに流入さ せる工程をさらに含んで成る、請求項19記載の方法。 21. 横断流チャンネルの中の空気を平行チャンネル内に追い出すのに十分な 流速で濾過された生物学的液体を横断流チャンネルから該平行チャンネル内に流 入させる工程をさらに含んで成る、請求項20記載の方法。 22. 該濾過媒体の下流に位置する管内に生物学的液体を留まらせる工程をさ らに含んで成る、請求項17記載の方法。 23. 該生物学的液体が細胞を除去するために濾過されるものである、請求項 17記載の方法。 24. 該生物学的液体が化学物質を除去するために濾過されるものである、請 求項17記載の方法。 25. 該生物学的液体が血液又は血液生産物である、請求項17記載の方法。
