Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)開口部を形成し且つ剛性外側溝を規定するフレームと、 (b)開口部の内部に配置され可塑化ポリビニルブチラールの中間層に接着され た第一及び第二のガラス層を含む貼合せガラスパネルとから成り、 (c)フレーム内部の剛性内側溝が、前記貼合せガラスパネルの周囲を囲繞して おり、パネルの縁端領域と前記剛性内側溝との間の相対移動が全くまたは最小限 にしか生じないようにセルフシール接着剤によって前記貼合せガラスパネルに接 着されており、 (d)前記剛性内側溝は、剛性外側溝の内部に嵌込まれ、極度の風及び衝撃条件 に曝されたときにパネルをその縁端よりも内側に屈曲させ得る弾性材料によって 剛性外側溝に接着されていることを特徴とする極度の風及び衝撃の条件に耐性の 安全ガラス構造材。 2.前記剛性内側溝が、C形、J形及びU形から成るグループから選択された断 面形を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記 載の安全ガラス構造材。 3.前記剛性内側溝が、アルミニウム、スチール及びポリ塩化ビニルナイロンか ら成るグループから選択された材料から製造されることを特徴とする請求項2に 記載の安全ガラス構造材。 4.剛性外側溝が、C形またはU形から成るグループから選択された断面形を有 することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の安全ガラス構造材。 5.前記剛性外側溝が、アルミニウム、ポリ塩化ビニル、木材またはその任意の 組合せから成るグループから選択された材料から製造されることを特徴とする請 求項4に記載の安全ガラス構造材。 6.前記セルフシール接着剤が、シリコーン、エポキシ、ポリウレタン、ポリビ ニルブチラール、ポリスルフィド、ブチルシーラント及びガスケットから成るグ ループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の安全ガラス構造材。 7.前記弾性材料が接着剤であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の安全ガラス 構造材。 8.前記接着剤が、嵌込み用テープ、シリコーン、エポキシ、ポリウレタン、ポ リスルフィド、ブチル材料、押込ガスケット またはその任意の組合せから成るグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求 項7に記載の安全ガラス構造材。 9.前記第一及び第二のガラス層が同じガラスまたは異なるガラスから成ること を特徴とする請求項1に記載の安全ガラス構造材。 10.前記第一及び第二のガラス層が、熱強化ガラス、焼きなましガラス、完全 焼戻しガラス、及び、化学的焼戻しガラスから成るグループから選択されること を特徴とする請求項9に記載の安全ガラス構造材。 11.前記第一及び第二のガラス層の各々の厚みが約3/32〜1/2インチで あることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の安全ガラス構造材。 12.可塑化ポリビニルブチラールシートが約90〜約60ミルの厚みであるこ とを特徴とする請求項1に記載の安全ガラス構造材。
