Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)結合剤を含む水性分散系、結合剤を含む水性エマルジョン、及びそ れらの組合せからなる群から選択される最低薄膜形成温度が22℃以下である成 分と、 (b)ゲル組成物に剪断がかかるときにゲル組成物にビンガム塑性体特性を 提供するのに十分な量及び種類の増粘剤と、 (c)任意に、(a)の成分が水性であるために存在している水よりも多い 付加的な水と、 (d)水分散性無機顔料と、 (e)任意にpH調整剤とを含む、pHが約6〜約9の範囲であるゲル組成物。 2.目詰まり防止剤を更に含む請求項1に記載の組成物。 3.(a)結合剤を含む水性分散系、結合剤を含む水性エマルジョン、及びそ れらの組合せからなる群から選択される、最低薄膜形成温度が22℃以下である と共にゲル組成物の全重量に対して少なくとも約0.03重量パーセントが結合 剤からなるように十分な量が存在している成分と、 (b)ゲル組成物に剪断がかかるときにゲル組成物にビンガム塑性体特性を 提供するのに十分な量及び種類の増粘剤約0.5〜約20重量パーセントと、 (c)任意に、(a)の成分が水性であるために存在している水よりも多い 付加的な水と、 (d)少なくとも約0.1重量パーセントの水分散性無機顔料と、 (e)任意にpH調整剤とを含むゲル組成物において、pHが約6〜約9の範囲 であると共に、存在している全体としての水の合計量が、その全重量に対して約 40〜約99.82重量パーセントの範囲であるゲル組成物。 4.前記増粘剤が、ポリアルケニルポリエーテルと架橋した活性化ポ リアクリル酸及び活性化合成スメクタイト粘土からなる群から選択される請求項 3に記載の組成物。 5.前記結合剤が、約100℃より低いガラス転移温度、約200,000よ り小さい数平均分子量、150より小さい酸価を有する請求項3に記載の組成物 。 6.(a)結合剤を含む水性分散系、結合剤を含む水性エマルジョン、及びそ れらの組合せからなる群から選択される、最低薄膜形成温度が22℃以下である と共にゲル組成物の全重量に対して少なくとも約0.03〜約10重量パーセン トが結合剤からなるように十分な量が存在している成分と、 (b)ゲル組成物に剪断がかかるときにゲル組成物にビンガム塑性体特性 を提供するのに十分な量及び種類の増粘剤約0.5〜約20重量パーセントと、 (c)任意に、(a)の成分が水性であるために存在している水よりも多 い付加的な水と、 (d)水分散性無機顔料約0.1〜約5重量パーセントと、 (e)任意にpH調整剤とを含むゲル組成物において、pHが約6.8〜約8 .5の範囲であると共に、存在している全体としての水の合計量が、その全重量 に対して約80〜約98重量パーセントの範囲であるゲル組成物。 7.前記組成物のpHが約7〜8の範囲である請求項6に記載の組成物。 8.(i)(a)結合剤を含む水性分散系、結合剤を含む水性エマルジョン、 及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される最低薄膜形成温度が22℃以下で ある成分と、 (b)ゲル組成物に剪断がかかるときにゲル組成物にビンガム塑性体 特性を提供するのに十分な量及び種類の増粘剤と、 (c)任意に、(a)の成分が水性であるために存在している水より も多い付加的な水と、 (d)水分散性無機顔料と、 (e)任意にpH調整剤とを含む、pHが約6〜約9の範囲であるゲル組 成物を提供する工程と、 (II)応力を該ゲル組成物に加えてその粘度を基材上に吹付けることができ る粘度に低減させる工程と、 (III)低減された粘度の組成物をサンダー仕上される基材上に吹付ける工程 と、 (IV)該組成物を該サンダー仕上される基材全体に均す工程において、該組 成物が均し工程中に少なくとも部分的に乾燥すると共に、該組成物と該サンダー 仕上される基材との間に可視的な色対比が存在する工程と、 (V)任意に該組成物を更に乾燥させる工程と、 (VI)該基材を該組成物でサンダー仕上する工程と、 (VII)任意に工程(II)〜(VI)を一回以上繰り返す工程とを含む、基材を サンダー仕上する方法。 9.工程(III)が非エアゾール噴霧器の使用を伴う請求項8に記載の方法。 10.基材上に塗布及び乾燥時に耐水性である請求項1に記載の組成物。
