Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 炭化水素原料からメタノールを合成する方法であって、 a)水蒸気改質ゾーンにおいて、前記原料および水蒸気からなる蒸気状混合物 を少なくとも一つの改質反応の触媒作用に有効な触媒と接触させ、 b)前記改質ゾーンから、炭素酸化物、水素およびメタンからなる合成ガス混 合物を回収し、 c)前記合成ガス混合物の構成物質を、メタノール合成触媒が充填されメタノ ール合成条件に維持されたメタノール合成ゾーンに供給し、 d)前記合成ガス混合物の未反応構成物質とメタノールとからなる生成物ガス 混合物を上記メタノール合成ゾーンから回収し、 e)前記生成物ガス混合物の構成物質を、メタノール回収条件に維持されたメ タノール回収ゾーンに供給し、 f)前記メタノール回収ゾーンから、粗製メタノール生成物流と前記合成ガス 混合物の未反応構成物質を含む蒸気状の流れとを回収し、 g)前記合成ガス混合物の構成物質を第一の水素リッチ流と炭素酸化物および メタンからなる第二の水素枯渇流とに分離し、 h)前記第一の水素リッチ流の少なくとも一部を前記水蒸気改質ゾーンに燃料 として供給し、および i)前記第二の水素枯渇流の少なくとも一部を前記水蒸気改質ゾーンにリサイ クルして工程a)の前記混合物の一部とする ことを特徴とするメタノール製造方法。 2. 前記分離工程g)はメタノール合成ゾーンの下流に配置され、前記第二の 水素枯渇流の前記少なくとも一部が前記分離工程g)から前記 改質ゾーンに、前記メタノール合成ゾーンを経由せずに、供給されることを特徴 とする請求項1記載のメタノール製造方法。 3. 前記分離工程g)はメタノール合成ゾーンの上流に配置され、前記第二の 水素枯渇流の前記少なくとも一部が前記メタノール合成ゾーンに供給され、その 後前記第二の水素枯渇流の未反応部分が回収されて前記改質ゾーンに供給される ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のメタノール製造方法。 4. 前記メタノール合成ゾーンが約20バール乃至約50バールの圧力下に維 持されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載のメタ ノール製造方法。 5. 前記メタノール合成ゾーンが約25バール乃至約40バールの圧力下に維 持されていることを特徴とする請求項4記載のメタノール製造方法。 6. 前記メタノール合成ゾーンが約30バールの圧力下に維持されていること を特徴とする請求項4又は請求項5に記載のメタノール製造方法。 7. 前記第一の水素リッチ流から前記第二の炭素酸化物水素リッチ流の分離が 膜分離手段で行われることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記 載のメタノール製造方法。 8. 前記メタノール合成ゾーンは直列に接続された複数のメタノール 合成反応容器を有し、各連続する対をなすメタノール合成反応容器は一つのメタ ノール回収ゾーンで分離されており、この直列のメタノール合成反応容器の各々 からの生成物ガス混合物が対応するメタノール回収ゾーンに供給され、このメタ ノール回収ゾーンから回収された前記合成ガス混合物の未反応構成物質が次に続 く直列のメタノール合成反応容器に供給されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請 求項7のいずれか1項記載のメタノール製造方法。 9. 前記粗製メタノール生成物流を精製ゾーンに供給して精製メタノール生成 物流を回収することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項記載のメ タノール製造方法。 10.前記原料流、前記合成ガス流および前記リサイクル流を動すために、一台 のガス・コンプレッサーを具備することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項9のい ずれか1項記載のメタノール製造方法。 11.前記メタノール合成ゾーンが約200℃乃至約300℃の温度に維持され ていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項10のいずれか1項記載のメタノー ル製造方法。 12.前記原料が天然ガスからなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項11の いずれか1項記載のメタノール製造方法。 13.炭化水素原料材からメタノールを製造するプラントであって、 a)改質条件下に維持され、少なくとも一つの改質反応の触媒作用に有効な触 媒が充填され、前記炭化水素原料と改質剤との蒸気状混合物を 改質して炭素酸化物、水素およびメタンからなる合成ガス混合物をつくるための 改質ゾーンと、 b)メタノール合成条件下に維持され、メタノール合成触媒が充填され、前記 合成ガス混合物の構成物質を生成物メタノールと合成ガス混合物中の未反応構成 物質とからなる生成物ガス混合物に転化するメタノール合成ゾーンと、 c)メタノール回収条件下に維持され、前記生成物ガス混合物から粗製メタノ ール生成物流を回収し、前記合成ガス混合物の未反応構成物質を含有する蒸気流 を回収するメタノール回収ゾーンと、 d)前記合成ガス混合物の構成物質を、第一の水素リッチ流と炭素酸化物およ びメタンからなる第二の水素枯渇流とに分離する分離ゾーンと、 e)前記第一の水素リッチ流の少なくとも一部を前記水蒸気改質ゾーンに燃料 として供給する手段と、および f)前記第二の水素枯渇流の少なくとも一部を、炭化水素原料と水蒸気との前 記蒸気状混合物と混合するために前記改質ゾーンにリサイクルする手段と を有することを特徴とするメタノール製造プラント。 14.前記分離ゾーンが前記メタノール合成ゾーンの下流に配置され、前記分離 ゾーンからの前記第二の水素枯渇流の前記少なくとも一部を前記メタノール合成 ゾーンを経由せずに前記改質ゾーンに供給する手段を備えていることを特徴とす る請求項13に記載のプラント。 15.前記分離ゾーンは前記メタノール合成ゾーンの上流に配置され、前記第二 の水素枯渇流の前記少なくとも一部を前記メタノール合成ゾーンに供給しその後 前記第二の水素枯渇流の未反応部分を回収しこの未反 応部分を前記改質ゾーンに供給する手段を具備することを特徴とする請求項13 に記載のメタノール製造プラント。 16.前記分離ゾーンは膜分離装置を具備することを特徴とする請求項13乃至 請求項15のいずれか1項記載のメタノール製造プラント。 17.複数のメタノール合成ゾーンが複数のメタノール回収ゾーンと直列に配置 され、各メタノール回収ゾーンからのリサイクル流は、直列に配置された最後の ものを除いて、次に続く直列のメタノール合成ゾーンに供給されることを特徴と する請求項13乃至請求項16のいずれか1項記載のメタノール製造プラント。 18.精製条件下に維持され、前記粗製メタノール生成物流の入口と精製メタノ ール生成物流の回収用の出口とを有する精製ゾーンをさらに具備することを特徴 とする請求項13乃至請求項17のいずれか1項記載のメタノール製造プラント 。 19.前記原料流、前記合成ガス流および前記リサイクル流を動かす一つのガス コンプレッサーを具備することを特徴とする請求項13乃至請求項18のいずれ か1項記載のメタノール製造プラント。
