Abstract

Una planta para la producción de una mezcla de gas de síntesisque contiene óxidos de carbono e hidrógeno a partir de un material de carga que contiene hidrocarburos, caracterizada por comprender:a) Una zona de reformación, adaptada a ser mantenida bajo condiciones de reformación, y la que tiene una pluralidad de cámaras cargadas con un catalizador efectivo para catalizar al menos una reacción de reformación, para reformar una mezcla vaporosa del material de carga que contiene hidrocarburos y un reactivo de reformación para formar la mezcla de gas de síntesis;b) Medios de alimentación del material de carga y reactivo de reformación para alimentar a las cámaras de la zona de reformación una mezcla vaporosa del material de carga que contiene hidrocarburos y el reactivo de reformación;c) Medios de alimentación de combustible para alimentar la zona de reformación con un combustible adecuado para calentar las cámaras;d) Medios para alimentar la zona de reformación con una corriente vaporosa que comprende oxígeno de combustión en el cual el combustible puede ser quemado;e) Una zona de humidificación mantenida bajo condiciones adecuadas para humidificar la mezcla vaporosa que comprende oxígeno de combustión;f) Una zona intercambiadora de calor adaptada para intercambiar calor entre la mezcla de gas de síntesis reformado y la mezcla vaporosa humidificada que comprende oxígeno de combustión;g) Medios para recuperar de la zona inbtercambiadora de calor una mezcla de gas de síntesis enfriada; yh) Medios para recuperar de la zona de reformación una mezcla vaporosa de productos de combustión que comprende los productos de combustión del combustible en la zona de reformación y cualquier material no quemado alimentado a la zona de reformación.
