Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.遠位端を有するワイヤーと共に使用するための柔らかい可撓性の螺旋状の血 管閉塞コイルであって、以下: (a)該ワイヤーの遠位端に脱着可能に接続するよう適合された近位端; (b)遠位端を有するコイルであり; (c)該螺旋状の血管閉塞コイルは、該遠位端および該近位端にすぐ隣接する第 一直径を有する巻線の重複を含み;および (d)該螺旋状の血管閉塞コイルは、該近位端において、該第一直径よりも小さ い第二直径にさらに巻き込まれ、それによって該近位端は、該すぐ隣接する第 一直径の半径方向に内側に配置され、該コイルが血管または空腔の中に配置さ れたとき、該コイルが該血管または該空腔を塞ぐよう作用する、コイル。 2.請求項1に記載のコイルであって、前記近位端が前記ワイヤーの前記遠位端 と脱着可能に連結する接続部材を有するコイル。 3.血管または血管内の空腔を塞ぐのに使用するためのアッセンブリーであって 、以下: (a)第一接続部材を持つ遠位端を有する細長いワイヤー;および (b)柔らかい可撓性の螺旋状の血管閉塞コイルであって、以下: (i) 該第一接続部材に脱着可能に接続される第二接続部材を持つ近位端; (ii) 遠位端を有し; (iii)該螺旋状の血管閉塞コイルは、該近位端および該遠位端にすぐ隣接す る第一直径を有する巻線の重複を含み;および (iv) 該螺旋状の血管閉塞コイルは、該近位端において、該第一直径より小 さい第二直径にさらに巻き込まれ、それによって該第一接続部材が該す ぐ隣接する第一直径の半径方向に内側に配置され、該コイルが該血管ま たは該空腔の中に配置されたとき、該コイルが該血管内で該血管または 該空腔を塞ぐよう作用する、コイル、 を含む、アッセンブリ。
