Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.2個の相補的なコネクタ半体を有する光コネクタにおいて、 前記コネクタ半体(1,2)の各々は、少なくとも1本の光ファイバが実装さ れたスリーブ(11,21)を有し、 該スリーブ(11,21)は内部ハウジング(12,22)により少なくとも 部分的に取り囲まれ、該内部ハウジング(12,22)は画日ハウジング(13 ,23)により少なくとも部分的に取り囲まれ、 少なくとも1個の前記コネクタ半体(1,2)において、前記スリーブ(11 ,21)がばね力下で前記内部ハウジング内で軸方向に移動可能に配置されてお り、 前記内部ハウジング(12,22)は、前記外部ハウジング(13,23)内 で2個の停止部(14,15,24,25)間を自由に移動可能であり、 前記内部ハウジング(12,22)は、相補的なコネクタ半体(1,2)の内 部ハウジング(12,22)上にラッチするためのラッチ手段(16,17,2 6,27)を支持し、 前記外部ハウジング(13,23)は、挿入状態及び非挿入状態の両方で前記 内部ハウジング(12,22)上を移動できるように設計され、 前記外部ハウジング(13,23)は、関連する内部ハウジング(12,22 )のラッチ手段(26,16)を開く解除手段を支持することを特徴とする光コ ネクタ。 2.前記コネクタ半体の前記外部ハウジング(13,23)が雌雄同形に設計さ れていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の光コネクタ。 3.前記コネクタ半体の前記内部ハウジング(12,22)が雌雄同形に設計さ れていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項又は第2項記載の光コネクタ。 4.前記内部ハウジング(12,22)が、対向する2側面にラッチ手段(16 ,17,26,27)を有し、ラッチフック(17,27)が一方の側面に設け られ、突部(161,261)を有する弾性ラッチアーム(16,26)が他方 の側面に設けられていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項ないし第3項のいず れか1項記載の光コネクタ。 5.前記外部ハウジング(13,23)上の前記解除手段(133)は、挿入方 向に逆らって他のハウジングを引張る力があると前記解除手段(133)が前記 弾性ラッチアームに作用して開くように設計されていることを特徴とする請求の 範囲第4項記載の光コネクタ。 6.前記スリーブ(11,21)が2個の中心出し開口又は2本の中心出しピン (3)のいずれかを有し、多数の光ファイバ端、特に光ファイバリボンケーブル を前記スリーブ内に実装することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項ないし第5項の いずれか1項記載の光コネクタ。 7.接続すべき前記コネクタ半体(1,2)が対向する両端挿入される結合スリ ーブ(4)が設けられ、該結合スリーブ(4)は前記コネクタ半体(1,2)の 少なくとも前記内部ハウジング(12,22)とラッチする手段(41,42) を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項ないし第6項のいずれか1項記載の 光コネクタ。 8.前記内部ハウジング(12,22)が前記結合スリーブ(4)とラッチする ラッチ突部(131,231)を有し、前記外部ハウジング(13,23)がラ ッチを開く手段(132,232)を有することを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項 記載の光コネクタ。
